...for Black Mage's life. It's not looking too bright for my lil' frand. Please don't kill him off!
Personally, I'm hoping for an end, where BM turns good. Or at least all the evil is sucked out of him.
If he died, he at least desveres a long speech from himself or the other characters about how he was a victim of hate and bla bla bla bla....

One of the things I respect most about this comic is that scenes like that haven't happened. For example, when Black Mage was separated from Fighter, he happily went off to become a cobbler rather than getting super lonely and going back to him. We also haven't gotten any of those crappy speeches about the power of friendship, or why good always triumphs over evil, or any of those cliches that RPG makers seem to think make any ending better. Why ruin things?

And thank god for that! But really, I would love to see BM ACTUALLY win in the end but I trust in Brian's psychosis artistic abilities.

Considering the Light Warriors are neither Good nor Friends such speaches wouldn't fit into the comic very well. i mean WM might makee a Good triumphs over Evil speach but I don't think even she believes that anymore.

...the Light Warriors are neither Good nor Friends...Black Mage and Fighter are friends. Or, at least, Fighter considers Black Mage his friend. Yes, I say that in full awareness of the last few episodes. Brian has to prove me wrong.

Typically, it doesn't matter. No matter how evil a character or how vehemently they despise each other, they always end up as kind-hearted softies determined to show the bad guy The True Power Of Friendship.

Yes, but fighter is a rotten friend (http://www.nuklearpower.com/2004/07/08/episode-439-everything-is-fighters-fault/).

Black Mage turning good would ruin the character forever.
BM, the homicidal maniac, is my favorite character.
In the epilogue I want some more stabbings by Black Mage to occur, but only after he tells them their faces are ugly.

I like the evil Black Mage as well as the rest of them, but would like to see him turn moderately good, or at least neutral. I've wanted to see that since he almost had an epipiney at Marsh Cave.
