We also haven't gotten any of those crappy speeches about the power of friendship, or why good always triumphs over evil, or any of those cliches that RPG makers seem to think make any ending better. Why ruin things?

Considering the Light Warriors are neither Good nor Friends such speaches wouldn't fit into the comic very well. i mean WM might makee a Good triumphs over Evil speach but I don't think even she believes that anymore.

Typically, it doesn't matter. No matter how evil a character or how vehemently they despise each other, they always end up as kind-hearted softies determined to show the bad guy The True Power Of Friendship.

Black Mage turning good would ruin the character forever.
BM, the homicidal maniac, is my favorite character.

In the epilogue I want some more stabbings by Black Mage to occur, but only after he tells them their faces are ugly.

I like the evil Black Mage as well as the rest of them, but would like to see him turn moderately good, or at least neutral. I've wanted to see that since he almost had an epipiney at Marsh Cave.
