Actually Coca Cola was available in Israel early whereas Pepsi entered later due to fear of the Arab League boycott according to wiki. So yeah, Pepsi's just mending bridges broken by their own cowardice.

Although if I'm really thirsty and hot, Solo (proper lemonade, not that clear tasteless shit) is the absolute best (not that good when you're not really thirsty though strangely). Actually, given that pine trees are, in fact, somewhat edible (I know from experience), and actually don't taste too bad if you get it in your mouth before the air hits it too badly (again, experience), one CAN make a decent-tasting drink flavor out of it. Alternatively, if the sap gets exposed to air, it quickly turns to tasting quite nasty, with quite a strong flavor. After all, nobody said the soda actually had to taste good.
