Just beat RF: Guerrilla, and I had Creedence Clearwater Revival playing for most of the game. It was strangely appropriate. But for the the climactic finale, I decided I needed something heavier (also I kept dying and I thought maybe the music was preventing me getting in the proper mood), so I selected Rage Against the Machine and proceeded to blast it.

It fit amazingly well. Then, as the (fantastic) ending cutscene started, the music cut off (pauses it for cutscenes, quite handy.). It did the fade to black to credits, and as it faded into the credits, a particularly awesome Rage guitar solo started pumping again. It was a fantastic moment that brought to mind awesome movies, like, say the ending of Iron Man.

So this is a thread for those moments, where the music you play or the in game music itself just fits so awesomely and has awesome moments.

(Also I was fighting tons of police and military guys and the first Rage song that played was Fuck the Police. It was hilarious, particularly as the first "Fuck the police!" line came around, an EDF vehicle flew into the air and exploded mid-flight, in the exact same rhythm as the guitar. XD)

I found in my own playing of RFG that some Iron Maiden fit the bill quite nicely. It happened to randomly switch to "The Rainmaker" during the mission where you run the Free Fire Zone trying to take out the artillery positions. It just seemed to work dodging a rain with artillery with that song going.

I also find that Manowar's "Call to Arms" works with the first Marine level in Call of Duty 4, and that Dragon Force adds to the Crackdown experience.
