Of course, I only see it as a plausible possibility, not a definite probability. There's really nothing to say that Aizen will even die here. Putting all you have into an attack seems like it's just asking for it to not work.

Yeah, I just don't think that character will be Ishida's dad. Like, Kubo is probably going to go with a character like Byakuya, because he's so easy to hate. Basically a Snape character where the author thinks the audience will buy he's a villain when he's actually a SECRET GOOD GUY, but it's just so stupidly obvious to everyone involved that he's a good guy. We just don't know Ishida's dad enough for us to hate him to the point where he can be a Snape.

Alternatively, Kubo might opt for a character people actually like, so everyone who lacks a brain can freak out and wonder why so and so betrayed the good guys. For a second, I considered that character being Urahara, but then I remembered that that would be awesome and this is Bleach so it can't happen. More likely is that we'll get one of his high school friends getting powers, or one of the ones who already has powers, and turning against them for a villain arc where they aren't a SECRET GOOD GUY but they're still going to end up on the good guy side at the end of the arc.

This is all after the Yammy arc, of course.

That is certainly an interesting choice of words.

Ryuuken would make more of a Snape than anyone. Snape's whole thing, besides being easy to hate, was that there were things pointing to him being honestly good & secretly evil. For good, Ryuuken has indicators that he wants a profession that will help him raise his son, he runs a hospital, he has a good relationship with Isshin, & he helped Uryu get his powers back. There aren't as many examples of his questionable morality, but I do recall him shooting his son in the chest without telling him what he was up to, in a move that would have killed him if Ryuuken was the slightest bit off. And...frankly, Ryuuken acts like kind of a dick already. He doesn't need to do an awful lot to make himself easier to hate.

Next Chapter and the one after it seem to start the Isshin Arc. Since it was supposedly confirmed to start within a few weeks.

My guess is next chapter, we get to see what was going on in Hocco Mundo, Orihime shows up and heals up Isshin and co, Isshin wakes up and explains to Ichigo his past (starting the Isshin Arc). Afterwards, time sk- oh that's right we usually don't get any. Ichigo goes on a ten minute retirement refusing to get his powers back and live a normal life. Then new big bad does something horrible and Ichigo changes his mind and decides to try and get his powers back/become a half Arrancer.

I can already see a handful of things that suggest Kubo had that story in mind; for example when he expresses disappointment that the Espada weren't as powerful as he was.

He didn't, though. Ichigo did. Aizen was only alive due to the Hougyoku regenerating him, but then it decided that he was no longer worth the time, allowing the seal to activate. If Ichigo hadn't beaten him/he hadn't found another like himself, etc. other lolAizenwaslonely stuff, the seal wouldn't have worked -- that's why it hadn't activated yet. At least, that's how it read to me. Urahara was more cleaning up and containing than dealing the finishing blow.

And yet, ominous rumblings occur... who wants to bet the hollow's finally had enough of waiting now that Zangetsu's out of the picture? Or is there some last-second Hogyouku fuckery that's going to restore his powers? Supposedly, the Mugetsu technique is what caused Isshin to lose his powers 20 years ago... yet he got 'em back.

well for one, no that isn't the punishment. Remember Aizen was manipulating things. It was what first made some of the characters suspicious because her punishment was pretty extreme.

Also being sealed away in isolation for tens of thousands of years to most is worse then death. Which admittedly makes no sense unless they plan to kill him right afterwards. There is no way you can go through that and come out sane

By underworld place do you mean the one where hollows live or the one where shinigami live? If it's the latter you should totally watch up until Rukia's imprisonment comes to an end. Pretty much every expectation that Bleach was going to be not terrible is based on that arc.

Overall, i like the lead way Bleach is going. I trully do. I've also decided not to Spoil mysefl anymore. As soon as the Anyme closes it's arc, i'll stop reading the manga and will stay with just the anime (i'm positive there is a filler arc on the way)

As for this guy's arc... i'm not sure if he is the same as Ichigo, but he does seem to know about Ichigo's Family... Specially Isshin.

Isshin is a Captain grade, and his division was kept a secret so far... So i'm still betting he was from Division Zero, and got expelled somehow. Also, it's well known that Isshin lost his powers for several years, and he knows about the Final Getsuga Tenshou (and he knows the Getsuga Tenshou).

So it's not a big secret that Ichigo is probably directly linked to the Royal Family or the Soul Society King.

This new dude is probably what Renji was on the Early days of the Manga. Tracking down Isshin under orders from someone above (the king?)

Also, he is not Aizen... he is a fusion of both main villains from Gundam X, Shagia and Olba Frost

Did... Did anyone actually doubt that this was going to happen? Ever? It's been established since long before he lost his powers that he'd be able to get them back, because his father did. It's been implied that he'd be able to get them back faster and stronger than his father did by virtue of the fact that he's Ichigo and anything anyone in Bleach can do he can inevitably do better. Even if Ichigo's sister gets powers and turns out to be a little prodigy, he will still be Goku, and nothing will ever change that. Ichigo losing his powers is the equivalent of Goku dying.

From the sounds of it he's trying to spin the whole "Urahara wants to make Karin the next Gohan" bit so that it'll sound like a bad thing to Ichigo.

Well, at the very least as far as Shonen Manga goes this is, in the very least, a honest point to spin upon.

I mean, how much do we REALLY know about Urahara? How much of what he did went just juxtaposed to what Aizen wanted? There really are quite a few questions with open meaning around him...

I mena, he did create wanted to find a way to break the barrier between Shinigami and Hollow, and he was fully aware that Aizen wanted something around that as well, and yet, he still kept Ichigo on that track...

Also Aizen's own past is quite distorted and the point where him and Urahara actually get to know each other is blurry at best.

So, i'm not saying Urahara is a Fiend or the Real Bad Guy... but it wouldn't be an absurd twist if he had less than noble intents.

But, yeah. Karin = Gohan. I can totally see that.

I just realized based on the description, assuming all floors are identical and they started with one room in the center they would have to have rented out 77 rooms. That's assuming 11 rooms per floor and the total of 7 floors. If we assume they didn't start with a room in the center and then rent 5 more on either side that is still 70 rooms. At this rate they would have been better off just building an island somewhere.

Not only was it a translation but also a master piece of cleaning. Of course I still wonder how literal the translation was. It appears that the credit probably goes to Kubo and the cleaner/translators. The content of the words and how they where put into the panel were obviously Kubo but the translator/cleaner did I great job translating the effect into English. So kudos all around it seems.
