I've been loving it so far, but no one at work is caught up yet. All 4 episodes that have aired will be up on Hulu until December 20th at 2 AM PST.
Come and share your theories here!

Yeah, I've been enjoying it. It's kinda funny, because ABC was worried that V wouldn't do as well as Flashforward so they held it back, but in the four episodes we've had of V I've enjoyed it a lot more than the whole of Flashforward so far.

I agree. I actually started watching FlashForward a little late, but I haven't felt the need to watch beyond the 6th episode. I feel like FF is focusing too much on the main family, the Benfords? Bradfords? Whatever. I don't really care if their marriage falls apart. Poor woman, she has to chose between Jack Davenport and Joe Fiennes. It didn't really seem to be going anywhere.
You kinda have to wonder, though, why they would bring in 2 Sci Fi shows at the same time. Why not save one for next season?

Benford. I agree though, but mostly because neither of them seem to be doing much to stop it. His Wife at least has tried, but it seems to have went out the window lately, but he seems to be walking along the road toward his vision while all the while doing nothing more than complaining that this is the road that he's on. It's a little annoying. The Bryce/Keiko storyline and the Simon character are much more interesting.
If there's one thing that V does right, I think it's that it develops all of it's characters equally. The writing with the aliens is superb though, since I feel like I'm slowly being let in on what's going on but without any long boring exposition or killing the intrigue. I'm still interested in them, and that they're doing but the pacing of divulging that information is nicely handled.
The reason for both Sci fi shows airing is that Lost ends in the later half of this season of fall/winter television and they're looking for another Sci fi show to take over from Lost when it ends. Neither shows have achieved the initial popularity of Lost so they may end up keeping both on. V has already been put on hold, which is why it only got four episodes instead of the expected 13 before it returns after the mid-season break and Flashforward has changed producers and is about to undergo a retooling before it comes back, so it seems like neither of them meeting expectations.

I only could watch the first episode in full.
I was expecting some "reimagining", some kind of clever twist to it and it never came. I think watching the original series was enough for me. I'm sure the details of the plotlines on a smaller scale are all diffierent, I don't remember enough, but the themes just grate even more.

Good show, and I'm always glad to see former Firefly cast members gainfully employed. Some bad news though; the network has delayed the rest of the 13 episodes of this season until after the winter Olympics are over, so like March.

So long as it hasn't been cancelled, but I think that a lot of shows are being put on hold until after the winter Olympics, no?

The Winter Olympics suck.
