20th Century Boys

So, I just finished the manga of 20th Century Boys, and was wondering if anyone here has seen the live-action movies? I know it's going to be a little lacking in the special effects department, and a fair amount will get cut out to fit in a trilogy, but are they worth checking out anyway?
