More stube humor, because the internet was calling out for it! (http://www.nuklearpower.com/2010/01/05/episode-1207-a-king-steves-kick-ass-publication/)

any chance you can post a bigger image of the magazine? It's tough to read everything. Unless someone with super good eyesight wants to transcribe.

Can't wait to see in what sense fighter will be supercharged in the next scene. Agree on the magazine, it's hard to read everything.

From the top, clockwise:

"Do you deserve a hotter barwench"
"Don't miss this stube, it's gonna be huge!"
"Let's feed the Marboros!: When idiots hear the call of the wild"
"The magic of FFX-2: It's dress your girl like a hoochie mama day!"
"Combo Magic, Hot damn! This secret two-step secret to antipode will turn your cold (Cut off here)"

FEG

And just in case anyone really cares, the date on the publication is February 2006 >_>

Dammit, now I'll never know!

It's dark matter and cavewoman fist, right? That has to be it!

seems like we began this year the way the previous one ended: with a king steve comic

.....Why am I suddenly wanting a stube?

More King Steve... That was simultaneously the best and worst possible way you could have ended a two week hiatus.

Well, I bet she has a nice box...err...stube.

Really the magazine isn't that hard to make out.

Comic was fun, Fighter causing death and destruction simply by walking will be even funner. I love how casual everyone is about the end of the world all of a sudden. XD

I liked FFX-2. :/

Although the reference to Chrono Trigger pleases me greatly.

Why am I not surprised that Red Mage is in on the whole 'stube' thing?

And so 8-Bit Theater's 10th and final year has begun.

I wouldn't commit to the "final" part if I were you.

Isn't it rather pointless to ask how RM knows anything at this point? I mean, the man looked directly into the datasphere (well, it was more of a peak).

Plus what I think may be the first apperance of the stube:

So this is what it feels like when an 8-Bit theater comic gets released?
It seems so... familiar...
It's... good...

Wow, this is great and disappointing at the same time! Well played Mr, well played.

Also, the FFX2 Article on the Magazine Front-Page:
LOL.

Best FFX-2 review ever.

Yeah, wasn't 2009 supposed to be the final year? Still, there isn't much more left in the 'story' of FF1, so it is entirely possible that this could be the last year.

Still, it took us nearly a year just to defeat Garland, so who knows...

Then this is probably the longest lasting playthrough of Final Fantasy ever. We even discovered a bunch of secret areas that only show up after about a year of play time, for some reason. There's more to the game than most people know.

We, however, aren't most people.

Worse. 2008.

To be fair, he only really has one line...in fact he's only in two panels.

I think my favorite part of this comic was the line about "Feed The Malboros"

GOD I hated those things. Especially in FF8.

Collect a few tentacles? That will be ea-BAD BREATH.

Damn them to hell.

Oh. And awesome comic. It was worth the wait.

Instead of the next comic installment, I demand an issue of Inventor's Quarterly. Or maybe just the highlights. :D

Hey, they paid for 'em. They don't know what they are exactly, but they're holding on to them all the same.

stubes should be added to the 8bit merchandising. an unmarked white plastic paperweight could be the next goldmine.

Praise be to Yevon! Another comic! Time is so disjointed for me now, that I can only tell it's passage by associating things that happen with the 8-bit theater comics that came out around the same time.

Well, you could always get the tentacles the easy way, by playing cards.

I'm actually a little surprised the comic never made fun of that. Have Red Mage render the whole team unable to think when he whips out god knows what out of a few trading cards.
