The thing about Fighter is that he's a helper. (http://www.nuklearpower.com/2010/01/16/episode-1211-100-rooms-of-ones-own/)

Could this be fighter's biggest screw up yet?

...Does this mean they own/are running a whole town, again?
Bet Red mage will figure out how to use this new resources against chaos by the next comic ;)

The stubes have left the visual scenery, do they still have them?

If it turns out that they actually DO own a whole town again, Red Mage will find some asinine way to strap Rocket Boosters to it and get away from this whole "chaos" fiasco. Fighter may've saved their lives yet.
though I don't see what's stopping them from just going to the Inn and slaughtering the inn-keeper, and getting the weapons back... Well, except for the fact that when you sell items or weapons to NPC's, whatever the fuck you sold, like, yeah... instantly disintegrates into oblivion.

...the fact the inkeeper has invincible insanely overpowered divine weapons now?

If they didnt dissapear per RPG rules, you still have to be a heroic hero to use them,im sure that guy falls under that requirement

Red Mage would have to take a look at his character sheet in order to confirm that.
Red Mage has gotten a lot better recently, but Fighter's actually gotten worse. He does have good lines like "But why would you insult a sidewalk?", but I sympathize with Black Mage.

He could still slash or hadoken.
Posion, dropping a heavy rock on him, or bad puns.
None would work though. But He still should try, you know.

If renting a single room for the night skips forward an entire night in a few moments, obviously renting an entire town full of rooms will let you skip forward YEARS. Fighter, in all of his genius has invented time travel. The entire party was whisked forward far enough in time that society has re-evolved from protobacteria post-cataclysm! The Light Warriors are saved!

I think Fighter somehow used every room at once, actually. So, no, I don't think so.
Nice idea, though.

Brian, that "putting down pavement/down payment/insulting sidewalks" thing is easily the most clever thing ever said EVER.
Seriously, the universe is done, we have peaked. That joke is the crown jewel of human achievement.
I mean, I'm rather good at coming up with clever stuff on the fly (Improv experience, and no, not just in the High School theater sense).
But that... that was...
It was beautiful.

I wonder why Red Mage hasn't tried to master time magic yet. They're on a very stricy time limit andhe did claim earlier he could do it.

We're still talking about the guy who found Swordtown, folded a portable hole in on itself, and willed his swords into chainsaw blades right?

I'd say all he lost was his blue magic, and all tha super-evil. He could ALWAYS stab. He'd still have Thundara, Firaga, and HADOKEN.

I think the fact that Sarda erased SWORDS and their usage from Fighter's mind then Black Mage not being able to stab is very very very plausible considering swords was the one thing sealed in tight enough to not fall out of Fighter's brain everytime he breathes

There is no actual proof that you aren't in fact a time traveling banana come to warn us about a terrible fruitless future. But using logic and supporting evidence, we can be pretty sure you aren't.
Same with this comic. No it doesn't say "The Light Warriors lost every power ever", but it does give us example of the powers they've ALWAYS had being taken away, like swords, stabbing, and thief's ability to jump/cartwheel or whatever it was. So we can assume that if the most basic of things were taken away, Sarda isn't goes to miss the super powers.
PS- If you really are a time traveling banana, please, take me with you.

That's kinda my point, actually.
Also, even if your idea HAS happened, the chances of the world re-evolving EXACTLY the way it was are much closer to zero than Fighter's intelligence.
Another problem with that is that those who sleep in an Inn are not immune to harm. This was proven in FFIV, though on an insanely small scale.
Still, it's a nice idea. A very nice idea.

Silly Fighter, you can't insult something that doesn't know it's being insulted; you're a prime example of this. Besides, this is all moot. Clearly the Real Light Warriors will come to the rescue (sure they'll get destroyed, but it's the thought that counts, donchah'know).;)

What the hell are you talking about? Last time I insulted a sidewalk I ended up with 4 broken ribs, sprained wrist and a fractured ankle. Dont mess with sidewalks I learnt that the hard way.

They were amnesia dusted, remember? They can't remember anything. Unless it was Akbar's discount amnesia powder. In that case the effect will wear off. Or kill them. It's anyone's guess.

Blame Red Mage, he's the one who left Fighter alone and unsupervised.
He's also the one that came up with the plan that turned Sarda into Chaos.
He's also the one that forced himself into the formation of the Light warriors, when they already had four, thus causing the vote that exposed Onion Kid to Black mage's face begining the madness that led to him becoming Sarda in the first place.
Not to mention him usurping White Mage's position on the team which would have likely prevented a large amount of harm and evil the team has caused.

You're right! And all this time I blamed Queen Jane. (She could have stopped King Steve from sending them on a mission if she would have had him committed to an asylum).

But it was Fighter's idea to become Light Warriors in the first place. So...everything IS Fighter's fault (http://www.nuklearpower.com/2004/07/08/episode-439-everything-is-fighters-fault/).
EDIT: But then again, Sarda needs to become a powerful wizard and eventually a jackass wizard in order to accidentally send White Mage back in time. So, everything (and the eternal torment and/or unmaking thereof) is Black Mage, Red Mage, Fighter, White Mage, and Sarda's fault. (Brian's view on time travel makes it impossible to pin the blame on one person.) Kinda surprised Thief's not really to blame, in retrospect, (you'd have thunk he'd be responsible for everything) except maybe for voting for Red Mage and getting most of the orbs amongst other smaller stuff.

There's only one possible explanation for all this madness...
