Because we've had a lot of those. I guess I could just say pick one moment from one game. Only one - because then you'll go for one moment rather than a lot of plain old neat bits. So here goes:

SILENT HILL 3
Vincent, Claudia And Heather In The Church (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=caD9Uyn80MM&feature=related)

The neat part about this game is at the end, where Heather is saying "I guess that's it. It's over. Time for the curtains to close." and then breaks down and cries. It's a neat little scene that shows in most media, the end is rarely where it ends.

METAL GEAR SOLID 4
The Ending Fight (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c98zgewPFzY&feature=related)

I could've said the defeat of any of the B&B's or the Shadow Moses bits, but really, this is pretty awesome.

...you broke your own rule in the very first post of the thread. Good job.

My moment of choice is the last GDI cutscene in Tiberian Sun (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Lr3zMeRjN4&feature=related).

Kane gets some really memorable lines.

So wait, why did you get two?

MASS EFFECT
The Final Cutscenes (Spoiler Warning, naturally) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gtBbwtY6ROo)

The first minute in particular pretty much cemented my love for the game as a whole. It's like they took Season 1 of BSG and just concentrated it.

Super Smash Brothers Brawl - The Great Invasion (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9dOcSftnxPk) is the first thing I thought of. Spoilers, of course.

Apart from the truely awful dialogue yeah! Honestly that was terrible stuff.

I think if I had to pick any moment, I'd go with the final boss battle in God of War 2. I could say any boss battle in the series really, but only in that one do you get to fight a 100 ft tall, lightning spewing Zeus!! I mean the actual God King of Olympus Zeus. Things don't really get much better than that.

One of my personal favorites is (don't laugh) Arthas commiting patricide at the end of the Human campaign in Warcraft 3

In that vein, I'm gonna pitch out the beginning of the final Allied mission in Red Alert 3.

It's basically a summary of all the silliness mixed with awesomeness that makes up the game.

Spoilers of course, but damn, did I enjoy how much that mission made me feel like a badass.

I didn't like RA3 much either. I'm seeing a pattern here...

Oh come on, RA3 was a terrible installment in the C&C series! Bad controls, way too much micromanageing, the entire retconning of the previous 2 games, overlong mission structure (go here, do this, now do this, now destroy these 3 things, now save these dudes, now wipe out everyone in 5 minutes!). It was made by EA, what more do you expect?!

Bad controls? How the...?! CLICK TO SELECT! RIGHT-CLICK TO MOVE! It doesn't get much more simple than that! And even better, you can set hotkeys on your keyboard, so if you had bad controls, it's just because you DIDN'T TRY HARD ENOUGH!

And overlong mission structure? Are you actually complaining because there was too much stuff to do in the game?!

On the micromanagement aspect, you've got a point because that's not everyone's style. I like it personally, but to dislike the game for that reason is entirely valid.

...The EA bit is ridiculous because EA does make good games sometimes. Like, Mass Effect 2 is technically an EA game.

Nocturne: The true demon ending. The PC denying the cycle of death and rebirth then leading Lucifer's hordes of demons against god's army. Bonus points if you called your PC Jesus. It's not something you see in any other RPG. It's also the best way if you consider your other options (creating a variety of extremist's worlds or reverting it to its old state eliminating every sense of accoplishment, even if it's the end of everything.) All endings in the game are fairly unique, but this one stands out the most.

Earthbound: The final goddamn battle for fucks sake.

Also that Arthas commiting patriregicide thing from Warcraft 3 Mac mentioned.
It's the best cutscene in the game.

The hotel level near the very, very end of Killer7. I absolutely adored that part.

Silent Hill 2... All of it...

Contact for the ending. Beautiful.

As much as I didn't like Silent Hill 2, when you finally defeat both Pyramid Heads and see Silent Hill for what it really is, in the dilapidated old hotel, and run into Angela and see what she sees, yes, that was a "oh holy shit" moment.

But not my favorite. My favorite has to be Earthbound, in that big mighty moment where Giygas' defenses become unstable and the entire game shuts down in a flicker like an old TV. It was especially creepy considering A - how goofy and fun the whole game had been thus far and B - how eerily quiet it gets right afterwards.

The final battle in Persona 4. Game had a lot of good moments, but that was where it all came together for me. 'specially with the music for that fight. Best part of a brilliant game.

It's the best cutscene in the game.

The cutscene in WoW where Arthas' father is proud of his boy...

As we watch him in his being the Lich King.

The irony was strong in that one.

Maybe I'm just nostalgic, but when you first reach the end of Mt. Silver and see Red standing there... It's a nice end to two generations, all in one epic fight.
