What happens when an unstoppable morons meets an immovable concept made real? (http://www.nuklearpower.com/2010/01/29/episode-1215-so-stupid-its-brilliant/) Find out next week!

They've certainly had worse plans.
Using Fighter's intelligence drain in this way seems like an interesting Chekov's Gun.
But I don't want Fighter to die.

Me think Mr. Clevinger should write the next Final Fantasy game. I'd buy it.

This episode made me crack up. Thank you, Brian. One of my all-time favorites, I think.

This could work actually, if Chaos is exposed to fighter, Chaos might end up defeating himself with persuasion and end up not destroying everything... like fighting an invincible mirror with a void! Except with INT/CHA!

Fighter's stupidity is peerless. Even Sarda wasn't immune, and he's supposed to be a SAGE... like, polar opposite of moron.

Finally after all these years...Red Mage embraces "act stupid and hope it works" as an official plan after so much time trying to pretend that wasn't the only thing they've had going for them.
I like how everyone is all "Hey that's a good plan" when I think it's far more likely that Chaos will just cut Fighter in half before Fighter can even start to stupid him to death.

Surely Fighter can break even Chaos' super-dimensional hyper brain?
So yeah.

No, he'd succumb to temptation to say something omnious, at which point fighter would reply and Chaos would be screwed. And that's before any land porpoises come into the equation.

Talking has never solved anything it merely buys time to build bigger nukes.
This plan might actually work by the 8BT-universe's logics, except that this universe hates them and will therefor find a loophole to screw them anyway.
...On the other hand, does the universe really want Chaos to destroy it? Hmm....
...On the other hand, does the universe really want Chaos to destroy it? Hmm....
Well, on one hand it would be saving itself. But on the other hand, it would also be saving.... them.
(And they are just begging to face the llama.)

I still think it's going to come down to White mage showing up in the end, not dead... Doesn't the universe still technically obey her commands?

Here's a thought - what if Fighter forgot how to be an idiot when Sarda de-leveled him?
Doesn't the universe still technically obey her commands?
Not any more. It only listened to her suggestions when it was young and impressionable and easily influenced. Now it's pretty set in its ways.
(Seriously.)

That would be a nice twist, but he's already shown that's not the case.

You know, the llama. (http://i45.tinypic.com/2ivb8r9.gif) And also an Invader Zim reference.

if only black belt were alive. then this plan's success rate will probably jump to 100%.

maybe Chaos disrupts the realms of the dead, allowing his return?
I know it would never happen, but who cares?

Oh the horror....the llamay horror. I had a friend who had a friend who had a friend who had a cousin who faced the llama....he didnt survive.

You forgot Fighter is so stupid he fails to recognize when he is hurt. In fact Fighter is so stupid he could probably kill Chaos in one hit because he is so stupid he doesnt know he cant kill Chaos in one hit.

If the universe is truly calling the shots here, then it is stuck in a lose-lose situation.
Chaos, or the Light Warriors.
Perhaps Thief could file suit against reality to stop Chaos from existing not being serious here

I see. The plan is revealing itself in front of our eyes.
The comic will finish with the dumbest thing Fighter has ever said. Then Brian will put that on t-shirts and profit.
Brilliant.

The t-shirts don't sell. I think they've actually lost him money.

Hell, if I had money that wasn't already going to other obligations, I'd buy a t-shirt.

Actually, it's Chaos, or Light Warriors de-leveled. And with Chaos defeated and Sarda no longer there to egg them on, they would have little incentive to act as a group anymore...Each would go on to do his own thing, and possibly die pathetically in the next random encounter without the collective ineptitude of four LWs to pull them out.
Unless this whole "Fighter's stupidity defeats Chaos" thing somehow gives them back all the Exp they lost. Then yes, the universe is tentatively screwed.

Not necessarily, they didn't start their lives at the levels they were at before. Give them time and they'll power up again, most of them are cowards who prefer to avoid fighting monsters anyway.

Except Chaos is the "final boss", so they won't get xp.

well then, that would just multiply his base stupidity to incalculable numbers. Chaos is sure to lose with this plan.
On a side note, if shirts are not profitable, what about shot glasses?

Says wh? Seriously, we've had three things called the final boss so far (Sarda, the Light Warriors themselves, and now Chaos) who knows what else is coming
Maybe they'll end up facing the author himself?

It'd be a great showdown. hey'd annoy him into just ending the comic so the ending will just be him getting fed up and a few panels of black.
