See title.
When it's all said and done, and this comic has completely come to it's conclusion, would it be possible to get a "random" button? I would use it - and would like the other forumites to confirm it's accessibility to the average viewer. Agree or disagree?

A better use of programing time would be to make the comics just a number instead of number-word, that way we could just use http://www.random.org/ to generate a number without hassle, and quick-index without hassle.
TBH finding an 8bt episode would be entirely too frustrating to bother if it weren't for Sardapedia.

I just start at the first comic and work my way up to the one I'm looking for. I mean geez it only takes like 5 hours guys.
Well, some of us don't like to spend HOURS on an archive binge. We have, y'know, stuff to do. Like eat cake.

Every comic I read that has a random button I use, so I think the idea is valid.
Completely random thought: If Brian wants to retain most of his 8-bit Theater fan base - after the comic ends, continue updating each comic with alt-text commentary like you would normally update 8-bit (or if somehow the copyrights allow you to do a print, do that, otherwise I stand by my post).

Most web-comics don't use a continuing storyline like 8-bit has. A random button doesn't really work if you jump into a middle of a plot point.
That said, I wouldn't mind to see a random button, just so I can re-live some other long-forgotten classic lines.

Yah, as Brian said himself, somewhere, don't ask me where, while the comic has a continuing storyline, each page is its own joke with build-up and punch-line. If you've read the comic at least once you should be able to recognize the context of each panel and thus get the joke even if it's tied in to the situation they're currently in.
So, yeah. Random button. Sounds good.

Perhaps an arc selector, instead of a random button.. Or only include the beginnings of arcs in the random selector.

Is this sort of what you meant? (http://forum.nuklearpower.com/showthread.php?t=12938)

The Wind Waker? The Wind Waker took away someone's cake?
Why?

It was probably pissed off because of all the unecessary bashing it gets.
Or the Ocarina actually did it, in order to frame the Wind Waker.
Never trust a 64-bit Ocarina.
The guy playing it is mostly fine though. 'Cept for the Skirt, of course.
