Brian, should be see the White Mage twist as the climax of the story, and the rest will be a denouement, and THAT'S ALL, just a wrap-up, or are there anymore interesting little plot points waiting for us?
No specifics obviously, but is there anything left to look forward to besides a strict wrap-up?
Out of curiousity, has Brian ever spoken on the 'Matoya never gave the Light Warriors the antidote to the Nightmare Juice' plothole? Or is it one of those things he conveniently overlooks each time it's referenced because it's something he hoped no one would notice for a future plot twist?

I think it's implied that they got it at some point between 311 (http://www.nuklearpower.com/2003/07/24/episode-311-legal-dispute/) and 314 (http://www.nuklearpower.com/2003/08/02/episode-314-outclassed/).

They haven't had the nightmares since then. That works as proof they got the antidote for me.
Oh shit everything from that point on is a nightmare from the nightmare juice.

I am far more interested in longstanding plots like the Dark Warriors and what will happen to the world now that the orbs of light are gone.

The Dark Warriors are probably huddling in a dark corner, together, possibly naked (Would anyone be surprised?), still fearing Sarda's wrath.
EDIT: The Orbs of Light could be replaced by the light bulbs BM stole at the beginning of the comic. The world is too stupid to know they're not magical.

Maybe it's not too late for an 'everybody dies' ending...

Except that Brian said the "everybody dies" ending wasn't going to happen. Although, actually, he specifically said it wouldn't be an ending like Nuklear Age's... so maybe I'm wrong about that. Hmm.
Personally, I'm curious as to how Onion Kid grows up in a world no longer terrorized by the Light Warriors. There's bound to be something happening to them soon... right?

Kid's at a wizard school. He's geting more powerful every day while the LW are stll completely deleveled, odds are they'll avoid him for fear of being slaughtered. Besides, they're already past the threat of Sarda, why risk facing anouther mega powrful wizard.

Perhaps, but I doubt they could really contain their selfish and violent urges for too long, even with that kind of motivation. In fact, I bet they'd be dumb enough to try and kill Onion Kid before he gets too powerful.
I'm still thinkin' that there's more to this than has been revealed yet.
I still think this comic is either gonna end in an incredibly lame way (in other words: an incredibly awesome way, because it would fit) or Evangelion-style. And nobody will ever know, what the hell happened. But at least, it will have looked kinda cool.
You guys are looking too much into this :P
Brian talks in alot of his news posts about how he is happy to be getting over with 8-Bit and on to new, honestly more exciting projects (for him).
8 years, over 1000 webcomics, it's gonna get a few more episodes, but it's basically a dead-comic-walking. No picking up ten years later, no "Adventures of King Steve" (though I would love that SO much)
Haha, I can't see to much wishful thinking, though keep examining it if you want!
Just my 2 cents. :P

I'm frankly not at all wanting to see yet another story arc. The time has probably come to wrap up.

There's not much more that can be done with the 8-bit formula whilst still keeping it relatively fresh.

If I may reiterate that I was talking about a denouement, which IS essentially a wrap-up. I didn't once suggest another arc, I only wondered if there was still some stuff to learn in the denouement. A new plot point doesn't equal a new plot.
Answer me Brian, so I can sleep at night. :-P ... No seriously, give us some insight as to how the denouement will be written. /futility

I think you have to wait until he's written it and it's online.

I wonder when that'll be. I'm reminded of a quote from early Season 5 of Lost, when the island is randomly jumping through time. When physicist/Oxford graduate and Physics professor of same, was asked how long it would be before the next time jump, which is what they needed as they were in a rather inconvenient time period, Faraday's response?
"It could be five minutes, but it could also be five thousand years."
Like Brian's release schedule LAWL! :p
The above is in jest before anyone overreacts. :p

It's not so much wishful thinking as it is following what he's been saying. He said some "wrap-up" comics were coming, and thusly these and / or other issues will get closure.
Also he once pointed out the importance of White Mage saying "nothing good can come from this" that time she influenced the universe, and I don't think that's been addressed yet, so... that could be big.

All I want to say is that he better hit 1337 comics. He gets bonus points if he ENDS on 1337.

Or alternatively, no.

Yeah, I thought he was a lot closer than he actually is. I dunno if there's almost a year's worth of material left.

Considering the ratio of filler to not-filler, I dunno if there's almost a year's worth of material in the comic as a whole.

I want this comic ending with Queen Jane explaining what she has done all these years to Left hand man Gary and that comic should not feature other characters so everybody would very pissed.
