Once you get past the voice it becomes a great deconstruction of the prequel films. It could kind of do without all the murder jokes.

Would have loved it if he didn't sound like a basement-dwelling nerd on ADD medication. I seriously can't get through one video of the first movie's deconstruction, even though I like what he's saying.

What's up with his voice?!

Dear God, I listened to like five seconds of that and then just had to turn it off. That guy has the nerdiest voice in the history of everything that has ever been, ever.

Yeah he's either got the absolute worst voice in the history of voices or he's doing it on purpose. I feel like the second one is the more charitable option.

I saw the first video series floating around a few months ago and basically couldn't watch it.

These are actually pretty interesting to watch.

He's doing the voice on purpose, he's making a character and using it to do the reviews. Could have done without it, probably, but the voice grew on me. His Episode One video was really funny for the most part and a pretty great discussion and examination of the films failures.

I've heard much nerdier voices than that from basement dwellers/social failures in college hanging out in Gamestops in town here. The voice, to me, sounded more a mix of Michael Moore, South Jersey, and someone who's really tired.

It's still retarded.

I'm not nearly as bothered with the guy's voice as others here seem to be. (In fact, I find the over-dramatic nerdy portrayal both obviously fake and quite appropriate -- the idea, I think, is that even a completely unlikable loser is apparently capable of identifying Lucas' storytelling flaws.)

Unfortunately, my problem was really that the Episode 2 review just wasn't quite as thorough (or quite as hysterical) as the Episode 1 counterpart. Just based on memory, I remember laughing out loud multiple times during the Episode 1 review, something that really didn't happen (for whatever reason) in the Episode 2 review. And it's strange that the Episode 2 review is actually longer, because it certainly didn't feel that way. The Episode 2 review didn't concentrate on quite as many plot points and spent too much time reviewing similar problems (too many lightsabers! crappy love scenes!), and it didn't follow the chronology of the movie quite as well. Some sequences were also not touched upon entirely (like almost everything in Kamino.) He could have honestly tackled the romance issue in about half the time he did, while keeping the criticism intact.

It almost felt like this time around the viewer got too overconfident from the praise of the first video and decided to concentrate disproportionately on his own serial-killer / creepy stalking character as opposed to critiquing the movie. The first time around, the few bits that touched upon the reviewer's creepy personal life were hilarious because those moments were unexpected and understated. This time around, the sequences were too frequent and they threatened to undermine the review.

...Just my two cents.

Honestly i just think that if he talked in a normal voice and in a normal pace i would give him more attention and his videos would be half the size.

The content is good, the presentation not quite.

Well I have to admidt that after a few parts the voice sort of grew on me.

Liked the voice from the very beginning of the first Phantom Menace video, perhaps I will come to hate it?

Was a very good, thorough review- you get used to the voice after a while

"Fifty-nine minutes!!!"

What's not to like about this creepy serial-killer guy who does Star Wars prequel reviews? Plus it seemed implied the movies drove him insane. There are like, layers, here, people.

He sounds kinda like Strong Bad, but less Mexican-y.

I've now come around completely and feel that I wouldn't like the reviews half as much if they were done in a normal voice.
