This discussion title was created just to make Impact angry. But Piccolo is cool Now onto the responses.

Fine, I'll update more than once a night. It cuts into my Enchanted Arms time, but I owe you guys and girl at least that much.

All that Enmekki stuff is approved. Sorry I haven't gotten to you about it earlier. I really gotta stop watching porn when typing this stuff.

Oh, and here's a picture. I'm not terribly inspired to spend a half hour of Google Image finding a really good one, so...I decided to finally submit these instead for your entertainment pleasure. You might've already seen these before.

I think it means "charming".

The last one is "I like her 'charm and her' sense of humor". Also no I'm not returning, I just tune in for the fan service every now and then.

Dude. Nice. Though you might not always have to, my internet access is spotty during evenings. We'll see.
Though which girls? Aren't we all guys here?

And how is impact like picollo? Is he green? Am I playing a green character?

That although you're on the good guy team, you're openly antagonistic to your team-mates and genuinely hate them until the infection that is "humanity" touches your "alien" soul and make you more human and more accepting until eventually your dark side fades. :3

Well, that's what Piccolo is like. Impact is more hidden/subdued but still has elements of him (although whether he will redeemed has yet to be determined).

And I'm assuming that Charlotte is the girl in question, even though played by a guy.

You mean the part where I establish a dictatorship and claim world domination? Yeah. Lawful good, right there.

And what do you mean, "more human"? Impact's as human as can be! You're the one who's pokecorrupted!

Menarker
04-22-2010, 01:39 AM
Well, I was just explaining Piccolo situation using our "meatworld" term. If I was using pokemon terms, I would use some other word to define virtue, patience, acceptance among other traits that isn't associated with a single species like "humanity for "humans" while leaving out pokemons.

Basically, Piccolo used to be utterly selfish and evil villian maniac bent on destruction/slavery, then his evil was still selfish but more self-serving and less demonic, then his selfishness was a facade to try to push others away that he wasn't comfortable with, then his personality was more stern and did not tolerate foolishness but held a noble heart and acceptance of kindness and such.

Geminex

I will point out that Impact has monstrous amounts of patience. It is the reason everyone is still alive. I see your point, though.

Menarker
04-22-2010, 01:46 AM
Well, but patience, I don't just mean simple restraint of emotions or actions for until they are more suitable, but a sort of acceptance and forgiveness that others may not be as smart, talented, or that they may on occasions do stupid things and that he needn't berate and chide them each and every time, or that the thought process or behavior that seems just plain ineffective may have their own value and just because its not his style doesn't mean its useless or wrong.

But yes, the first defination of patience is definately one of Impact's strong suit... but then again, patience of that nature tends to be common within lawful types which may expect a certain level of discipline.

Yes, you can expect to fight the Gabriel Force. You knew the answer to that before I even typed the Y at the start of this post.

And now I feel really dumb for not getting that one before. I'd hang myself, but right now I have grape soda and that makes everything all right again.

Argh. I can't find the post where the kimonos are at the ruins, discussing primal exist and legendaries. Somebody, help?
Edit: Never mind, found it.
Edit2: Thanks to Menarker for attempting to help. He is a Helper, let it be known.

If the situation wasn't so dire, I'd totally have Impact get drunk during the party. Perhaps when all the combat's over.
Also, AB, sorry about the questions. But Impact is curious, and so am I.

And Pierce, the way I see it is, Shizuka and Impact spar for a bit, Impact loses, doesn't take it personally. Maybe Pierce gets a bit cocky, wants to fight Shizuka next, readies the knife, Impact tosses him the blade, tells him he'd like to see him do better, Pierce gets beaten soundly, does take it personally, demands a rematch, is denied a rematch, Impact jumps in and challenges Pierce. Pierce is still glowering over getting beaten, wants to go after Shizuka again, but accepts Impact's challenge.

Later, during whichever combat takes place, he'll be trying to compete with Shizuka, match her skill.
That sound good?

Dracorion
04-22-2010, 08:33 AM
No.

What? No.

Absolutely not.

Or you can be damn sure Pierce will be defying Impact at every turn just to spite you.

But really, Pierce will challenge Shizuka (and he will do so first), and ask to borrow Impact's sword. Impact gives it to him to, I dunno, get some bonus points with Pierce? You're probably the best person to figure out why Impact would give Pierce the sword.

Pierce wouldn't take losing to Shizuka personally. Even if Impact lost to her first (which he won't get a chance to). After he lost, he'd immediately figure out a new possible strategy. I think he'd ask Shizuka for a three-round duel, so he could try out several things.

What the hell does Matt mean that the traitor's got something to do with the Gendom back at the bank? Ricewood is the one that put the Gendom there. Unless he means the trainer made Ricewood put the egg there. Hmmmm...

I don't know how much coordination AB and Matt have, but my guess is Vladier Burkmont has a mole in PATCA.

DanteFalcon

Are you honestly going to try and tell me that someone found this Gendom, gave it to the museum who promptly put it in this vault and at no point someone wondered "Hey I wonder where the parent pokemon went off to?" Or thought to examine it closely? I doubt its so picture perfect that no one would find a difference. Thus I find two answers

A) The universe is blind and retarded.

B) Someone is covering things up.

I'd prefer to plan for B and be wrong.

Edit: While I'm at it it conveniently woke up during the museum attack and the watchmen intervention. What are the chances? My bet is not very high. Thus it was planned (though I'll be the first to call Xanatos Gambit at that), someone took advantage of the moment (for an unknown reason) or someone fucked up. And they were so secure in their plan that it would either kill everyone or that it would be destroyed instead of captured. There's a -lot- of unexplained factors for that mission.

Dracorion

Great. So the list of suspects now includes Faynoc and the Progenitor as well as Burkmont.

Though I doubt it's Faynoc since it doesn't seem like he's going to last very long. Maybe the Progenitor is Burkmont.

Dude. That's part of the deal. Impact gets to fight her first, then turns the rivalry over to you, complete with sword. No more interference from his side, at whatever final battle, if he's boss, he'll give Pierce a grin, tell him "go for it". In return Pierce'll be more likely to go for stuff if Impact tells him to. But Impact gets first fight That's what we discussed, remember? It's not of such great importance, but Impact just giving up his sword off the bat, that strikes me as a bit odd. And besides, he's practically spoken his challenge.

And another thing: As far as narrative flow goes, Impact fighting first, losing interest and then Pierce getting rivalrous strikes me as much more... fitting, than Pierce fighting first, then Impact fighting, then Pierce getting the Rivalry.

Though tell you what: Pierce gets to fight first, gets the sword, standard deal, and after the duel, they'll both have some sort of rivalry with Shizuka. Impact's competitiveness, however, will decrease with his lust for power, and control over others (particularly Pierce). It might last a mission or two, by the time he goes demonic, it'll be long gone, Pierce will be sole rival to Shizuka, bla bla bla. Just another way to illustrate Impact's changing character and alignment, and how his way of doing things changes. It won't interfere with Pierce, it'll just create some more character depth, and characterize Impact's and Pierce's relationship.
Yes.
I like that way. Is it acceptable to you?

And take a back seat, a three-round duel? That'd be acceptable if there was anything about Pierce justifying that kind of competitiveness, or if this was Pierce's sidequest, but considering the context and setting, I think one should be plenty. You can have the other two as the RP progresses.

Dracorion

Dude. That's part of the deal. Impact gets to fight her first, then turns the rivalry over to you, complete with sword.

Technically you already get Pierce following Impact's orders unless he has a better idea. I was hoping in exchange for first dibs. And hopefully the Dragon Slave, but that's not really necessary.
And that bargain's cool.
EDIT: An addendum. Pierce will follow Impact unless he has a better idea or he's been picked leader, or he's superpissed.

That was the deal you agreed to. By first dibs I meant Pierce gets to fight Shizuka first and gets the rivalry.

I meant a three round duel as in, each round is Pierce attacking Shizuka, failing, Shizuka kicks his ass soundly. It's take all of three posts.

I should probably mention that Renny was the one who MENTIONED THIS ENTIRE THING in the first place IN CHARACTER. :3 At the START of the SECOND mission.Too bad he was shot down by Pierce and Impact in the process. If Matt is seriously thinking about it, it's largely in part that Renny contributed the theory right in front of him. HOWEVER, due to recent events, Renny's theory has now been more upgraded with new info and thus way more full-blown.

Anyhow, I sent a PM regarding Renny's full out theory to AB because it asks multiple questions at once and I don't wanna waste time bouncing back and forth. Some of it is naturally full blown young child conspiracy fueled suggestions, but some might very well be interestingly placed. When will it happen? You'll see. Renny will likely be asking the Kimonos and a few related party members privately to avoid being pre-emptively shot down the second time. It was pretty embarressing and damning to him the first time after all.

Well, Pierce gets his kicks from shooting down Renny, and Renny can get a little overeager in his wild guessing.

^^ I just had a revelation.

Metaleon purpose in the PATCAzord would be as the mobile R2D2 unit, able to walk around magnetically supported to any steel type, even suspended sideways on Registeel's back, and apply healing items during combat! In a pinch, Emploeon can be removed as the blade piece and given the same purpose to make Bronzong bell shaped opening as a rifle cannon arm ala Megaman!

Renny: You ever seen "Galaxy Combat?"
Rayleen: I might have. Why?
Renny: "Metaleon might serve the purpose of the lovable service robot, moving around and healing damage, while attached to the skin of steel pokemon magnetically!
Metaleon: "You're lucky I like you and my part of this plan, because you're honestly a lunatic."
Renny: And Empleon can be removed as the blade piece and serve the same purpose or apply water cooldown for when fighting against fire types. Bronzong's opening can then be used as a arm cannon for ranged destruction!
Empoleon: Well, that's honestly better than what I'm doing now!
Brongong: *Unintelligble as he's grasped by Registeel by the head.*

I would point out Menarker that Matt acknowledged Renny's claims and even said he had been thinking about it at the time though from a different perspective. As such, I shoot down your attempt at credit nabbing.

Menarker
04-22-2010, 11:18 AM
Well, from an In-character point of view, Renny was the first one to even voice the opinion. You can't exactly claim a poker hand if you never put it on the table. Similarly, Matt was thinking about whatever, presumably the Genom, but it was Renny who put himself on the spot and made the statement/theory. Matt may have contributed to the theory, but he didn't make it known to the group first.

Credit to Renny for coming up with it "first". Matt gets credit for fine-tuning it with other details from different perspective.

Dracorion

Pierce will probably come watch the PATCAzord as soon as he really graps what Renny's doing.

What, Renny has no comment on Pierce not only not shooting him down, but smiling? Jerkass.

Menarker
04-22-2010, 11:24 AM
Well, Renny got the pokemon. Pierce only gave a stern warning not to let anything happen to it.

Doesn't look like being shot down at all. Perfectly reasonable reaction/statement for a trainer, since a pokemon's welfare is a trainer's business.

*After the pokemon stacking is complete*

Renny: "Behold! The PATCAzord!"
Impact: "This is retarded! I think PATCA needs to edit their hiring standards. No employees who get all their ideas from saturday morning cartoons."

DanteFalcon

Credit for mentioning it first is fine by me. Though saying you beat Matt to saying something first is like saying you can beat a dead horse in a foot race.

Dracorion
04-22-2010, 11:27 AM
You misunderstood what I meant. I meant Renny ought to have some sort of reaction, like say surprise, that Pierce didn't shoot him down and was actually rather nice and compliant.

Since y'know, so far he's been everything but.

Menarker
04-22-2010, 11:33 AM

I missed that somehow. :3 Probably due to the dropping of the entire smiling part and giving a veiled threat. Edited a bit.

Dracorion
04-22-2010, 11:35 AM
See now, was that so hard?

And the threat wasn't veiled at all. Still, maybe I can edit that to make it slightly nicer.

EDIT: Yeah, now it's nice. Pierce's good mood is justified because he gets to throw down with Shizuka.

Rachel: "What? This isn't Brutal Legend, you know!"

You've got initiative on Shizuka, Impact. Get 'er!

Dracorion
04-22-2010, 01:01 PM

What.

I keel you.

EDIT: Oh, okay. I read a bit further. Actually, Pierce was planning to fight Shizuka hand-to-hand.

Astral Harmony
04-22-2010, 01:05 PM
Shizuka is a seven-hundred fifty year old demon who is a master of martial arts and bushido. And a Pokemon Trainer wants to go toe-to-toe with her?

Not that I'm trying to put Pierce down or anything, but that fight won't last long enough for me to make a sandwich.

Dracorion
04-22-2010, 01:08 PM
Yeah, he knows that, and I know that. Pierce just gets his kicks out of taking on opponents who massively overpower him. You understand.

Besides, it's more like practice for when he goes up against her for Mission 7.

Still, Pierce and Impact vs Shizuka (and just Shizuka), should be sorta better? Maybe he can borrow Rayleen's Dragon Slave.

And because I'm that petty, I'd like to point out that Impact technically never actually implicitly challenged Shizuka. Sure, it was implied, but still, I'm petty.

EDIT: In Pierce's defense, he's no slouch himself. This is a guy who believes in being prepared in case all shit goes to hell (as in, his pokemon are all knocked out), and he spent about five or six years travelling the world. I'd say he's decent at martial arts, great at knife-fu (which isn't much, knife-fu isn't that great), and in the lower echelons of decent with a sword. Of course, none of that compares to Shizuka, or any of the Kimonos. Not by a long shot.

And by the way, Mika never answered Pierce's second question about the scythe, namely "can he use it's power", right there at the start of my post.

Astral Harmony

Oopsie. Correcting.

Dracorion
04-22-2010, 02:22 PM
Well, that's nice.

I realize Geminex was the first one to come up with the idea, but Pierce might wanna have it forged into a weapon later. What kinda powers would the scythe have if it was complete, anyway?

But, in case you're wondering, I'm still not happy.

Menarker
04-22-2010, 02:36 PM
I'm confused here in regards to the PATCAzord thing. Did they just experiment with overall combining powers by multiple entities doing the same dance together or they did actually attempt the zord thing?

It looked like the first to me, experiementing with electric power. Which while a good thing in its own right wouldn't be any more effective to Ruin types than many other moves.

AB likely will come by in a few hours. We'll see what he thinks. Otherwise, I got no problems personally. Any idea what your bio would be like a bit?

^^; After I grab some food, I should compile all the list of upgrades for all the classes, since they have been scattered among chapters. I can tell you we don't have any snagger class characters at the moment though.

(The following are actual players. There are several other pokebrids and trainers NPCs on our side, another Slayer and an NPC Snagger coming.)
0 Snaggers
1 Pokebrid
1 Slayer
3 Trainers

But man, there is a lot to catch up on. :3

EDIT: If Rachel tries to climb the PACTA-zord and falls when/if it falls apart, Renny will try to catch her. Just pre-empting.

I'm only here for ten minutes, then I gotta go to work.

You want the scythe reforged? That should be Mika's department. When forged, it'll have powers similar to the ones Phantomere used, but on a smaller scale. Expect life draining and deathclock powers. Probably even a small chance of instant death. It was a legendary Pokemon at some point.

Fifthfiend, I'll be glad to have you onboard. I've been hoping that other people would sign up to fill in all the gaps we lost (one of the reasons I did those synopsises and whatnot) and I'll be happy if just one shows up. And yes, you can use original Pokemon. Feel free to leave questions here. I won't be able to answer them immediately, but since the other five have been here since the beginning, they should be able to help.

Also, seriously Fifth? Seriously?

Menarker
04-22-2010, 04:48 PM
HERE YOU GO FIFTH! Data to help you get started! If you're serious that is. ^^ Sorry about all the weird symbols. It's the result of the transfer from old forum to this one.

First and most important is your class. There are four awesome classes to choose from that require varying levels of thinkey time.

Pokémon Slayers have almost nothing to do with Pokémon except for the fact that they use personal weapons to defeat them while wearing special armor that protects themselves from Pokémon type attacks. All Slayers have reinforced armor that protects them against Normal-type Pokémon and can choose from a broad and exciting line of equipment that will give them the versatility and lethality they'll need to keep up with the other classes. Slayers are also gifted in that they can change their loadouts between missions depending on tactical data. Slayers can choose three weapons and four armor types. However, note that you can only equip one heavy weapon, one medium weapon, and one light weapon.

Pokémon Trainers use powerful Pokémon in battle to duel their enemy's Pokémon (or the enemy themselves). Trainers can have four Pokémon in their lineup which includes a Leader Pokémon that can know six different moves at one time including any HMs, while his or her other Pokémon will only know the traditional four (plus HMs). Between missions, Trainers can consider the tactical data and decide which moves their Pokémon should know before deployment.

Pokémon Hybrids, or Pokébrids, are humans that have undergone gene recombination to come out with all of a certain Pokémon's powers (including all TMs!) and some of their physical features (like ears, tail(s), etc.). Pokébrids have the power to achieve absolute synchronicity with their newfound powers and actually transform into a were-version of that Pokémon with greatly increased power and none of the type weaknesses (called a Paradigm Shift [which is usually shouted anime-style just before transformation]) for a temporary amount of time.

Pokémon Snaggers are something like Trainers, except for the following differences. A Snagger only has two Pokémon, and no Leader Pokémon. However, they can use special Pokéballs to subjugate desired Pokémon and bring them under the Snagger's complete control for the duration of the mission, including my own original type of Pokémon. In order to snag the target Pokémon, the target has to be weakened somewhat and a negative condition couldn't hurt. One thing you Snaggers should know is that your Pokéballs can help with that since throwing one both deals damage and causes Paralysis in the target, making them much easier to capture if you couldn't catch it the first time. A Snagger can only have two subjugated Pokémon at one time (if a Snagger decides to switch Pokémon, the no-longer desired Pokémon will go rogue and fight like an enemy, so be prepared). Additionally, successfully subjugated Pokémon are fully healed and ready for deployment upon capture and are not often targeted by Pokémon used by that same trainer. Cry me a river, enemy trainer, but your Pokémon is mine!

Name:
Alias:
Age:
Gender:
Class:
Pokémon Registry:
Appearance:
Backstory / Personality:

Yep, the sheet's that simple in appearance, but once you start filling it out, oh man, You're gonna do some thinkin'!

The biggest part will be Pokémon registry, and it's actually pretty easy. Slayers don't need to put anything, since they can change their loadouts from scratch before deploying. Trainers don't have to do much except list the names and Abilities (like Levitate or Compound Eyes) of their Pokémon since they can decide on actual moves before deployment. Don't worry, I have an Ultimate Pokédex and access to Bulbapedia so I can rapidly check up on what's what. Pokébrids will need only present the name of the Pokémon whose DNA was combined with their own. Snaggers need only list their two Pokémon as they can decide moves before deployment.

Pokébrids should pay attention to Appearance because the gene recombination will affect their physical appearance. For example, expect things like ears, tails, skin discoloration, and other factors. For example, Wizardcat wants to be an Espeon Pokébrid, correct? It's only natural to assume that character would have that gem on the forehead as well.

As for things like Pokémon level and evolutionary form, imagine having Pokémon at around level 70, with unevolved Pokémon having higher levels to cover for the stat boost that comes with evolution. Moves will have more practical, real-world applications to enhance tactics and cleverness on the part of you, the players. Pokémon battles will vary greatly as well, so be prepared for anything.

And now, for the Slayers in the audience. Here's the equipment that you can choose between missions. Remember: one light weapon, one medium weapon, one heavy weapon, and four pieces of armor. Read the tactical data before each mission once the RP gets underway and use that information to determine how best to suit up.

Slayer weapons have been upgraded to 130 power. As a note, you should know that this damage is also based on the target's defense and special defense. How to you tell them apart? Simple. A Dragon Slave deals physical damage because you strike the foe with the weapon, while the Flamethrower deals special damage because you do not strike the foe with the weapon. Another good tidbit of information is that if a support unit (Rachel, Lola) is with you, you can switch weapons, armor, and accessories between battles.

Light Weapons
- Claws of Twilight ~ Gothically-decorated wrist-mounted claws. Deals Dark type damage. Usually super effective against Psychic and Ghost types. Usually not very effective against Fighting, Dark and Steel types. May cause the opponent to flinch, forfeiting its counterattack. Grrr, baby, very grrr!
- Dragon Slave ~ Looks like a common sword and has a name inspired by a certain flatchested anime sorceress's ultimate spell of destruction. Deals Dragon type damage. Usually super effective against Dragon types. Usually not very effective against Steel types. I wonder if anyone would choose to equip this seemingly limited weapon?
- Capacitor Rod ~ An electric rod that charges lethal doses of electricity when not striking the enemy, then discharges it when in close proximity to the target. Deals Electric type damage. Usually super effective against Water and Flying types. Usually not very effective against Electric, Grass and Dragon. Usually ineffective against Ground types. Do not use to torment people you don't like as it is often lethal. Can paralyze the foe.
- Strange Parasite ~ Bizarre parasites that kind of resemble the Pokémon Parasect, these are thrown by hand onto the target where they unleash natural hell. Deals Grass type damage. Usually super effective against Water, Ground and Rock types. Usually not very effective against Fire, Grass, Poison, Flying, Bug, Dragon and Steel types. Please refrain from putting two Strange Parasites inside a little arena for hosting gambling battles.
- Toxin Bombs ~ Bombs that detonate on impact, filling the very near area near the explosion point with toxic gas. Usually very effective against Grass types. Usually not very effective against Poison, Ground, Rock and Ghost. Usually ineffective against Steel. You can poison most Pokémon with these so using them against other Pokémon isn't always a waste. You can use these to fumigate your house, but there are cheaper methods of doing so.

Medium Weapons
- Swarm Bow ~ Has nothing to do with actual swarms. The strange technologies employed in the arrows are under patent never to be tampered with. Somehow manages to deal Bug type damage. Usually super effective against Grass, Psychic and Dark types. Usually not very effective against Fire, Fighting, Poison, Flying, Ghost and Steel types. Seriously, how do the arrows deal Bug type damage, anyways?
- HV Penetrator Rifle ~ The high velocity rounds that are fired from this baby pack a mean bite. Deals Fighting type damage. Usually super effective against Normal, Ice, Rock, Dark and Steel types. Usually not very effective against Poison, Flying, Psychic and Bug types. Usually ineffective against Ghost types. Uh huh huh, huh huh, I said "penetrator."
- Gust Blaster ~ A shiny red weapon that has recently seen mass production as an effective means of generating powerful blasts of wind. Deals Flying type damage. Usually super effective against Grass, Fighting and Bug types. Usually not very effective against Electric, Rock and Steel. Has occasionally forced Flying types to land, rendering them vulnerable to Ground type moves. Should not be used to cool yourself down, unless you like being thrown back several yards.
- Netherworld Sapper ~ A revolutionary weapon employing experimental technologies that allow it to fire a strange coiling beam supposedly powered by trace energies from the netherworld. Deals Ghost type damage. Usually super effective against Psychic and Ghost types. Usually not very effective against Dark and Steel types. Usually ineffective against Normal types. Cannot help you contact your dead wife so she can tell you where the TV remote went. Try underneath your couch cushions.
- Titanic Fist ~ A powerful metal hammer that is used to pound the ground and cause localized tremors. Deals Ground type damage. Usually super effective against Fire, Electric, Poison, Rock and Steel types. Usually not very effective against Grass and Bug types. Usually ineffective against Flying types. A more kickass way to play Whack-A-Mole has never been invented.
- Synapse Disruptor ~ A bizarre new age rifle that can affect the mental coordination of the target. Deals Psychic type damage. Usually super effective against Fighting and Poison types. Usually not very effective against Psychic and Steel types. Usually ineffective against Dark types. May cause confusion in targets. Not to be used to hynotize your friends and make them behave like a chicken.

- Ricewood Rifle ~ A rifle so special that Professor Ricewood put her name on it since she worked on the damn thing from start to finish day in and day out for a whole week. This weapon is a modified organic weapon of the Raikner, a Ruin Pokémon with dual armcannons. Place one arm in the tight slot at the bottom of the weapon to have a good, sturdy grip on the weapon. Reach into the hole near the top and pull on the violet tendons to fire the weapon. The weapon fires yellow laser beams from an altered sensory sphere and inflicts Ruin type damage. Ultra effective against Fighting types. Super effective against Grass, Ground, Rock and Ice types.

Heavy Weapons
- Napalm Thrower ~ A heavy weapon that bathes the target in painful jellied gasoline ignited by a gun-mounted pyrotechnic initiator. Deals Fire type damage. Usually super effective against Grass, Ice, Bug and Steel types. Usually not very effective against Fire, Water, Rock and Dragon types. May cause painful burns. Not to be used for getting rid of weeds and pruning trees, you psycho.
- Hydro Cannon ~ A heavy weapon that powerfully ejects blasts of water from a back-mounted tank that can be quickly refilled from various sources. Deals Water type damage. Usually super effective against Fire, Ground and Rock types. Usually not very effective against Water, Grass and Dragon types. Be your own Blastoise!
- LH Launcher ~ A modified Hydro Cannon that now blasts the foe with superchilled liquid helium, which is where the LH part of the name comes from. Deals Ice type damage. Usually super effective against Grass, Ground, Flying and Dragon types. Usually not very effective against Fire, Water, Ice and Steel types. For the last time, stop using these weapons to play pranks! Oh, and enemies may become frozen from application.
- Siege Boomerang ~ A throw and catch weapon of considerable size and weight that hits extremely hard and takes years of training to master the return catch alone. Deals Rock type damage. Usually super effective against Fire, Ice, Flying and Bug types. Usually not very effective against Fighting, Ground and Steel types. Can you smell what The Rock is cookin'?
- Crescent Moon ~ A lean, mean, Pokémon-slaughtering heavy scythe that strikes fear in any foe, even ones with protection against its type. Deals Steel type damage. Usually super effective against Ice and Rock types. Usually not very effective against Fire, Water, Electric and Steel types. Don't fear the Reaper.

Armor
- Reinforced Vest ~ The only exception to the rule of four pieces of armor, you'll always have this equipped and it won't occupy one of your two armor slots. Protects you against Normal type attacks.
- Pesticide Layer ~ An application of this spray that doesn't wash off in water offers great protection from the buzzy, buzzy wrath of Bug types.
- Shadow Suit ~ A ninja suit. How in the hell does this protect from the full force of Dark type attacks? The world may never know. You should note that wearing this makes you feel so cool that you may never flinch.
- Courage Emblem ~ Some kind of bizarre pyramid-shaped artifact, worn around the neck or attached to a belt or something, that discourages Dragon types from delivering the full oomph of their assault.
- Insulated Armor ~ Special armor plating that absorbs and protects your vitals from Electric type attacks. Renders paralysis ineffectual.
- Impact Gear ~ A soft material that reinforces the body's ability to absorb powerful impacts, like Fighting type attacks.
- FR Suit ~ A simple-looking uniform that actually offers great potential against Fire type damage. Renders burns ineffectual.
- Windbreaker ~ Yeah, yeah, out with the flatulence jokes already. This weighted jacket of special material shields you from the punishment of Flying type attacks.
- Holy Talisman ~ A white tablet with ancient scriptures worn around the neck with tough rope, this item protects against Ghost type attacks. Usually worn by people who frequent locations rumored to be haunted.
- Herbicide Layer ~ The application of this spray won't harm you, but it will keep Grass type Pokémon from hitting you as fiercely as they could. Renders health-draining attacks like Leech Seed, Absorb, and Giga Drain ineffectual.
- Jump Boots ~ Special boots with turbo boosters that launch you just as the microcomputers within them detect seismic activity, relieving you of much of the damage from Ground type attacks.
- Counter Injector ~ A quick and relatively painless prick from this waist-mounted device ensures that Poison type attacks won't harm nearly as much as they could. Renders poison (the status, not the attack type) ineffectual.
- Brain Case ~ Invented by wackos with crackpot theories about governments using satellites to take control of their minds, these reinforced skullcaps are actually quite good at protecting you from the full assault of Psychic type attacks. Renders confusion ineffectual.
- Thermal Underwear ~ Not just for old people trying to stay warm in the winter! This hi-tech bodysuit worn underneath your normal clothes protects you from the full wrath of Ice type attacks, and renders freezing ineffectual.
- Sonic Guard ~ A piece of armor for your arm that takes some practice to master, the Sonic Guard hammers away much of the damage from Rock type attacks. A good offense sometimes is the best defense.
- Platemail ~ Not a full suit, but rather enough individual pieces to offer considerable protection from Steel type attacks. Damsels might be impressed by your rescue performance, given that they've had enough to drink beforehand.
- Weather Cloak ~ A cloak with hood that protects you from severe weather, particularly Water type damage. Renders sleep ineffectual.
-Guardian Globe ~ Looks like a sensory sphere attached to a bracelet. Kinda looks a little too pretty for a man to wear, but the protection it affords against Ruin type attacks will make the people making fun of you wish they were wearing them when the Ruin Pokémon amass on the battlefield.

Additionally, Slayers can now equip two of these purdy li'l accessories. You may look a li'l ghey when wearing them, but they each have great abilities, so check 'em out, Impact.
Slayer Accessories (each accessory can only be used once per battle, so choose wisely when you call on their powers)
- Stamina Boost: Allows the Slayer to attack twice in a round. Use it for you absolutely, positively have to fuck something up.
- Mezmerizer: Occasionally prevents a Pokémon from attacking the Slayer if its of the opposite gender. You might need some courage to use this.
- Scentsation Coil: Can be used to heal from negative status. Otherwise, it's kind of pungent.
- Adrenaline Surge: Increases all stats by one. Does not stack. Sorry.
- Spectral Eye: An amplified Confuse Ray. The Pokémon will always hurt itself. Not effective on Ghost types.
- Viper's Venom: A ring with a deployable needle that is jabbed directly into the Pokémon and inflicts it with Toxic.
- Decoy Device: Creates a perfect holographic representation of you which will trick enemies. You can still attack in the same round. Lasts for one round.
- Physical Barrier: Creates a kinetic barrier around yourself that greatly reduces physical damage. This works for three rounds.
- Magical Barrier: Creates a mysterious barrier around yourself that greatly reduces special damage. This works for three rounds.

New Slayer Ability!: Sweep ~ The Slayer can now make any attack hit two or more enemy targets in the same battle. The power is divided appropriately (in half if targeting two, in thirds if targeting three, and so on and so forth). A great way for a ticked off Slayer to show 'em who really owns this bitch. Can be used with any weapon and all accessories as applicable.

Fifth Pokemon: Pokémon Trainers can now have a fifth Pokémon.

Focus: They gain the focus ability, allowing their Pokémon to use multiple target or random target attacks on a single target of the trainer's choosing. Call it an act of bonding with your Pokémon.

New Pokémon Upgrade!: Leader Pokémon Number Increase ~ Increases the number of Leader Pokémon (Pokémon that can have six moves instead of just four) by one. Trainers now have two leader Pokémon.

New Power!: Trainer Attack ~ The Pokémon Trainer uses a weapon of sorts (or not) and attacks a single target. Available every turn. Power, accuracy, and other effects are determined by the context (the weapon/s available on your person or in the environment). Weapons available in the environment will be noted at the start of the battle. The Trainer is not exposed to danger by attacking, so the Trainer isn't in any additional danger by helping his Pokémon with a little personal assistance.

New Command!: Divide ~ The opposite of Focus. Use it to make attacks that normally hit one enemy hit two foes at once. Attack power is halved. A great tactic is to use this move to defeat two weak Pokémon instead of defeating just one and wasting the move's potential. You can choose which two Pokémon to hit, so long as both are in the same battle.

Pokébrids can now be recombined with another Pokémon's genetic data, and shift between the two without penalty, even when Paradigm Shifted. Your appearance, your moveset, even your ability will change.

New Pokébrid Power!: Synchronization Technique ~ A powerful arsenal of supernatural techniques that are not moves per se, but like ancient powers that your average Pokémon cannot do. Use of a Signature Technique requires the user to be Paradigm Shifted into the appropriate Pokémon form (Whitney's use of this move earlier and it's effects are the only exception and will not be repeated). Each technique can be used once per battle and can be used in the same turn as when the user first Paradigm Shifts. The list below details all eight Pokébrid forms available, the two for Matthias, the two for Whitney, the two for Rachel, and the two for Lola. You are not required to shout the name of the attack, but it just seems to feel more powerful that way, y'know?

Fifthfiend: If you choose this class, let AB know what pokemons you're using and I guess the sort of personality and battle style you're aiming for and AB will set up this custom move for you.

Third Pokemon: Pokémon Snaggers now have a third Pokémon,

Snag Ball Boost: Snag Balls are improved, and they can carry snagged Pokémon from mission to mission so long as that Pokémon's happiness is sufficient. Being hit by super-effective moves, fainting, being forced to tough it out through negative status effects, and being forced to fight despite being at low health all lower a snagged Pokémon's happiness. Using super-effective moves, defeating an enemy, winning the battle, and remaining in good shape will keep your snagged Pokémon happy and willing to keep working for you. Be forewarned that intelligent foes may know this and will likely try to target your snagged Pokémon to make it angry and go rogue.

New Pokémon Upgrade!: Leader Pokémon Number Increase ~ Increases the number of Leader Pokémon (Pokémon that can have six moves instead of just four) by one. Snaggers now have two leader Pokémon.

New Power!: Trainer Attack ~ The Pokémon Snagger uses a weapon of sorts (or not) and attacks a single target. Available every turn. Power, accuracy, and other effects are determined by the context (the weapon/s available on your person or in the environment). Weapons available in the environment will be noted at the start of the battle. The Snagger is not exposed to danger by attacking, so the Snagger isn't in any additional danger by helping his Pokémon with a little personal assistance.

Snag Ball Upgrade!: Effect Choice ~ Grants the Snagger the ability to choose what negative status effect a thrown Snag Ball gives the targeted Pokémon when it doesn't catch the target. Poison, Sleep, Confusion, Frozen, or Paralysis are all available for each and every Snag Ball.

Ruin pokemon are the special pokemon antagonist used by the foes in this RP. You don't have the option of using them... dunno about snaggers, but yeah. Just know how to fight them.

Strengths:
Quad damage dealt to Fighting types. Double damage dealt to Grass, Ground, Rock and Ice types. Half damage received from Fire, Ice and Rock types. Immune to Fighting and Ground types.

Weaknesses:
Only deal half damage dealt to Fire, Water, Electric and Poison types.
Recieve Quad damage from Dragon types. Double damage received from Psychic, Ghost, Dark and Steel types.

Anyhow, that's the major data need to consider when building the characters, but there may be a few minor quirks that are only found in individual posts in the discussion threads. Feel free to read them (quite humorous and you'll get a feel for our characters.) or ask us questions.

Also, to let you know, our group setup at the moment is mostly dark vilgilante type characters, although my character is the only "happy love and peace and undeniable Lawful Good character" in the group.
Renny (Menarker): Love Freak. Kindness, pure hearted, love pokemons and treats others kindly.
Impact (Geminex): Military guy who pretty HATES pokemon, pokemon trainers, and pokebrids. Although he works alongside them and tries to appear socially acceptable and neutral, he's really working to gain influence to alter society to fit his ideal world. Wears any "public mask" he thinks will suit the situation to get what he wants.
Pierce (Dracorion): Probably the most normal guy of the group. Isn't VERY friendly, but he's open to just about everyone. Likes strong powerful pokemon, but doesn't mistreat them or abuse their power. Basically a high level trainer with a sense of pride, no nonsense attitude and trying not to get the worst side of things.
Charlotte (Bard): Psychopath and only barely hides it. Behaves normally most of the time, although he's very bitchy/agressive. But in actual combat, you can assume she won't hestitate to kill.
Matthias (Dante): Aloof, overly quiet and loner guy. Likes to think he's malipulative. An enigma.

Name: Dormond Ferguson
Alias: None
Age: 53
Gender: Male
Class: Pokébrid (Mawile)
Appearance: Imagine your standard butler. Grey hair, small mustache, gentlemanly stature and superb manners. Now imagine him with a giant set of jaws hanging from a fleshly black protrusion on the back of his head. He dyes his mustache black because the genes turned his hair black, and wears gloves to hide the fact that his hands are black as well.
Backstory / Personality: A butler serving in Rayleen's family for at least three generations, Dormond personally blames himself for Rayleen's suffering when her father and fiancé were killed. His relationship with Rayleen is deep and he considers himself her personal champion, protector of body and mind.

Name: Lola Phelps
Alias: Queen of Hearts
Age: 23
Gender: Female
Class: Pokébrid (Lopunny)
Appearance: Lola is a bombshell in Nurse's whites. Strangely enough, her naturally pink hair has affected the Lopunny genes somewhat, turning the brown fur as pink as her hair. One would expect her to have other features, but do to adding hair removal in undesireable places as part of her personal care regimen, there are no tufts of furr on her wrists, eyebrows, or on the sides of her knees.
Backstory / Personality: Lola has been working as a trainee nurse for about five years, and as a registered nurse for less, but she's damn good at the job of healing others. One of the small disappointments in her life is that far too many people come to see her just to see her. Seriously, a stomacheache? Your leg fell asleep, that's all. I'm sorry, I don't see an open head wound. Yeeeeah. Lola wants to prove her potential by dealing with the worst injuries a man could ever suffer from without dying, yet for this professional, she may get bored quickly.

FYI we've already got a NPC Snagger on the way, so don't feel obligated to pick that class to fill out the party.

If you do pick that class, know that there's a Heatran that we caught way back when available if you want it.

Psst, Menarker, probably best to list NPCs and their classes too. Sure, I could do that, but I'm going to make you do it.

*EDITS SHITLOAD OF STUFF INTO THE LAST POST*

HAPPY NOW ASSWIPE!?

=P

Character classes, bios, upgrades, Links to all chapters and discussion threads.

There are a few more things like upgrades to the NPCs, as well as the bios of a few other characters like the Evil Eevee Eight, but don't have time now, and most of them have never been upgraded aside from Shannon who was touched on recently during the second mission. Plus I can't remember if Whitney and Harriette ever recieved a bio.

Happy Reading.

HAPPY NOW ASSWIPE!

Not particularly. Pierce still has to share Shizuka because AB's a stinky dummyface.

And I have yet to see Magnegross.

Anyhow Fifth... to sum up plot super fast which I'm rushing since I don't have much time.

First Mission, everyone meets in the organization known as PATCA and they form the group as THE WATCHMEN. Is told that bank robbery is in progress by the group known as the Evil Eevee Eight who is targetting a "pokemon egg". Group debate/argue on how to solve the situation with resources that they have. End up having a 3 way group split with a rooftop team to deal with snipers, a underground team and a frontal assault team. Underground team ends up running into problems and ends up attacking from the side and meeting up with the front. Most of the Evil Eevee Eight are defeated before they go in, thanks to Charlotte SHOOTING a TRAINER and making them surrender. They enter and find numberous bodies and corpses and some some of the EEE fighting for their lives along with a mysterious figure wearing Mini-Yukatas. Turns out she (Rio) is a member of a group of demonic high powered fighters called the Kimonos, who are also involved, but mainly because the ruin pokemon which pose severe issues. The Watchmen fighting the ruin type pokemon, powerful types that have little else but combat instinct to them. The group go inside and fight their way in and find the leader of the EEE murdered by more Ruin pokemon inside, and find out that the Pokemon Egg which they were charged to protect was actually a Ruin Pokemon shaped like an egg, which acted as a generator. They destroy all the ruin pokemon and the generators, but not before the leader of the Watchmen Rayleen, and Dormond her butler is severely injured and hospitalized. The surviving members of the EEE including the shot trainer is taken into custody. (Many players dropped out by this point due to the fast pace of the RP leaving the primary five of us still playing.)

Mission Two is a mission with Rachel getting word from Rayleen from the hospital and from other higher ups that there is a disturbance in a haunted pokemon mansion. The group is assigned to investigate. Since the mansion is huge, everyone is split into two groups with Impact and Renny leading their respective groups. Lola, a new support NPC join the Watchmen as a support unit, just like Rachel. Shannon, an EEE member on probation is also forced to assist, but with much amionsity from everyone except Renny and Rachel who struggle to keep everyone calm and in line. Upon arriving at the mansion, some other EEE members are discovered also on probation guarding the entrance, and alerting that someone wearing a Mini-Yukata and impossible womanly figure enter. The Watchmen enter and find Phantomere one of the "Ruin Generals" in the mansion, who taunts them and leaves in his ghostly nature. The groups split up to search the place, encountering wild pokemons and some maniac trainers and minions of the figure who seem very much involved with the Ruin Pokemon, Fayoc. The members of the Watchmen bond, especially Shannon who overcomes her dislike of the Watchmen and respects Renny who never was against her to begin with. Tsubasa and Chizuru of the Kimonos join the Renny and Impact's group respectively and help them through the last bits, as they fill the watchmen with knowledge about the ruin pokemon and the conspiracy and global threat the organization holds. The group encounters Phantomere and several of Faynoc's minions, pokebrids and pokemon trainers alike. They fight until the situation gets so bad that Phantomere goes berserk, seemingly kills all the minions to boost his own power and make the pokemons belonging to them go undead. Two of the minions survive and join Renny's team as the group no longer becomes seperated. They fight and the watchmen survive a harsh battle, killing Phantomere. Over the course of the mission, they learn that legendary pokemons are key to success over Fayoc.

Third mission (Renny's sidequest) is basically a party at Renny's placeto celebrate Rayleen, Dormond and Moon (The shot EEE trainer) recovery from the hospital. However, they know/suspect that Fayoc is IMMENSELY angry at the loss of Phantomere and lots of resources including his minions, so the Watchmen treats the party as a sort of mission since they suspect that he will send assassins to attack during the party. In addition, members of the Kimonos join at the party to further share information and secure their alliance with the Watchmen as everyone mingle...

And that's the REALLY abridged version of the plot! Now, I must leave for work. See you all later!

Yeah, that's pretty much it. Some of it can be hard to make sense of because Menarker was typing in a hurry.

The parts elating Renny weren't really necessary, really. You're making it look like he's the main character here. I'm obligated to point out that the thing with Shannon was more like a couple of snide comments. That Renny and Rachel shot down because, well, they had to.

If Fifth's offer is geniune, then this RP is about to get utterly fantastic or utterly horrible. Probably both. It will be fun.

You guys need to stop posting so much when I'm asleep, or you'll fool fifth into thinking that I'm not the number one spammer legitimate contributor in these discussion threads.

What Menarker's said so far is accurate, when I have time I'll write a paragraph or two introducing Impact.

As for all your conspiracy theories...

Would that be so implausible? We don't know the gendom's origins. What's illogical about somebody finding it, donating it to the museum, which in turn puts it in the vault until they can do some research on it?
Additionally, if it was placed there intentionally, why? All it did was alert us to a ruin threat? I'd understand if it were part of some coordinated attack, gendoms getting placed throughout the city, to wreak havoc upon it, but it really does seem simply coincidental.

And Menarker, why do I get nervous when I hear you're exchanging PMs with AB?

DanteFalcon

I'm sure I can think up a couple reasons as to why (I have one currently). Its more the sheer number of variables that makes this implausible. See my follow up.

You've got initiative on Shizuka, Impact. Get 'er!

I keel you.

Dude. Just have Pierce attack her as well. Impact gave you the sword, just fucking use it. I'll share initiative with you.

But mom, that's not faaaaairrr.

Geminex
04-23-2010, 12:30 AM
Ok, so how about this: We'll go with this plan:
Though tell you what: Pierce gets to fight first, gets the sword, standard deal, and after the duel, they'll both have some sort of rivalry with Shizuka. Impact's competitiveness, however, will decrease with his lust for power, and control over others (particularly Pierce). It might last a mission or two, by the time he goes demonic, it'll be long gone, Pierce will be sole rival to Shizuka, bla bla bla. Just another way to illustrate Impact's changing character and alignment, and how his way of doing things changes. It won't interfere with Pierce, it'll just create some more character depth, and characterize Impact's and Pierce's relationship.
but because Pierce and Impact are fighting together, I'll throw in the sword. Yeah, that's right, Impact will conveniently forget to ask to have it back, he'll just get another one from the armory, and Pierce will have his VERY OWN DRAGON SLAVE!
And if you CALL NOW Impact will retire from the fight after the first round and I won't protest if Pierce goes on fighting! Ownership of the sword and unlimited fights against Shizuka! How's that for a good deal!?

Astral Harmony

Take Shizuka on one at a time, take her on two versus one, or one of you can fight and the other can meet her original legendary Pokemon in battle. Your pick.

I'mma pretend to still be indignated, so my response is: ah, the hell with it, sure.

Yeah, that's pretty much it. Some of it can be hard to make sense of because Menarker was typing in a hurry.

Actually, that was rushed over, but I felt it was important because it was around the time that the EEE were no longer enemies with PATCA but actual allies and reliable supporters. The EEE were not happy to work with PATCA after the entire arresting of them, and shooting one of their members. With Renny's good example and support, Shannon began to trust PATCA more and the influence passed on to the other EEE members. (Well, Moon and Evanganlee so far)

And Menarker, why do I get nervous when I hear you're exchanging PMs with AB?

Because you have every right to be. :3

ALSO AB, sending you VERY IMPORTANT PM very soon.

EDIT: ALSO Fifth, how do you plan to make your entry into the RP? Unless you want to wait until next chapter, you might have to gate crash... I suggest...

A: Working as a $20 Discount Mercenary for Fayoc trying to cause trouble or spy. Once Fayoc's real minions reveal themselves and do real hardcore problems, you can have a change of heart and join in on our side.

B: Try to join the party the old fashioned way... which won't go well. Even as nice as Renny is, this party is pretty much invitiation only due to "military secrets" including the presence of the Kimonos and all that. Snorlax would be the BOUNCIEST BOUNCER ever. :3

Of course, there might be other ideas...

Astral Harmony

...Like being a transfer from a different squad within PATCA.

And I'm already enjoying this fight with Impact and Pierce. I get a vibe out of Shizuka. She's a killer whale and you're a seal. She's gonna throw you around until you're too exhausted to fight anymore and then she's going to consume you in damage.

EDIT: That's probably going to get Nagarai involved. But Shizuka's got a playmate for her.

Because you have every right to be. :3
Yeah, I'm gonna propose the implementation of anti-trust laws, right here, right now. PMs between players and AB have to be chronicled and summarized. Additional information has to be given, if reasonable. I don't want to know what the two of you are cooking up behind our backs; without me to shoot your ideas down, who knows what'll happen.
These laws are retroactive, so fess up, bitches. Don't make me get the car batteries.

Of course, you'll want to take it to the vote, so let me take care of that: All those in favor of not getting screwed over by Menarker and AB, say AYE.

And AB, you misunderstood. Impact released the claws while he was attacking. He only launched two attacks, which would have seemed like normal punches until the last second, when they'd have turned into bladed attacks. But never mind, I'll do it this way.

And fair enough. Let's try it your way. Though I wish I could come up with a good attack, other than "backstab".

Edit:
I might have Impact take a leaf out of Charlotte's book, and create a list. Only it won't be a list of: "Don't shoot these where other people can see you", it'll be more one of "Insolent fools and abominations which must be purged with righteous FIRE!"
Yeeeeah. It'll be awesome.
Or maybe I'll just have it exist OOC. Yeah, that'd be fun! Depending on characters' and player's actions, they'll move up and down on the list, I'll post regular updates, and whoever's still on it when the RP draws to a close gets an attempt on their life! Mock me now, and I'll double the offer, and throw a second attempt, FREE! No other sociopath'll do that!

Dracorion

Well, I'm fine if the anti-trust laws apply only to AB and Menarker.

Alternately, we could wait until after Pierce's sidequest to enforce them laws.

Nah, by summary I mean "Discussed Pierce's sidequest" sort of thing. If it sounds really suspicious we can demand more details, but for now I just want to know the amount of traffic between Menarker and AB. I don't want another Patca-zord.

Trust me, the silliness is over, so nothing like PACTAzord by PMs.

And no, I'm not plotting that you all die horribly, why do you ask?

... As a show of good faith, I'll show my sixth pokemon that I was hiding since the way my writing had turned, hiding it is no longer needed. (Plus Pierce revealed his after all.) Note that it has all been approved, so no griping! (Renny's pokemons base stats are lower than Pierce's intended and approved dream team stats.)

6th Pokemon: A previously unknown evolution of Shuckle. Rumor has it that a Moon Stone is involved.
The evolution granted it more stamina and power as well as a more diverse moveset based on defence, support and cosmic ability. Shiny for kicks, since it doesn't really make a pokemon more powerful. Just something unique which no one has brought up yet.

Name: Mollesk (A pun on Mollusk and Molest... it does have tentacles after all :3)
Type: Rock/Bug
Ability: Simple > Doubles all changes to stats whether it is good or bad. Cosmic Power which normally boosts Defence and Special Defence by 1 stage would boost both by 2 stages instead. Similarly, Screech which reduces Defence by two stages normally would reduce it by four.

Stats: 680 total
HitPoints: 118 (Huge boost from Shuckle's HP stat of 20)
Attack: 100 (Huge boost from Shuckle's 10 and prevents every use of Mollesk from turning into a stall match.)
Defence: 230 (Unchanged from Shuckle)
Special Attack: 1 (Slightly lower from Shuckle's 10)
Special Defence: 230 (Unchanged from Shuckle)
Speed: 1 (Slightly Lower from Shuckle's 5)

Move List: All the moves that Shuckle has and the following. (Some of these I chosen just because I don't know if I'll ever come across a situation where it might come in handy. I might ask for a different one if I think it really apply, but these are what I came up with.

Any chance of asking for a custom move or two such as a combined version of Light Screen and Reflect? Otherwise, move list is unchanged from my last submission.

Cosmic Power
Light Screen
Reflect
Follow Me
Aromatherapy
Iron Defense
Amnesia
Recover
Destiny Bond
Gravity
Mimic
Power Swap
Teleport
Torment (Tentacles anyone?)
Trick Room
Drain Punch
Gunk Shot
Leech Life
Absorb, Mega Drain, Giga Drain
Bug Buzz
Extrasensory
Future Sight

Also, Mollesk isn't affected by Rain Dance as other rock pokemon because ingames they live by the ocean especially on the beach and occasionally even IN lakes.

Dracorion
04-23-2010, 10:21 AM
I'm going to protest. Because I can.

It makes no sense for Mollesk to not to be affected by water if it's a Bug/Rock type. I mean, I get it's still going to take double damage from water, but you're making it immune to environmental factors. Which in this RP actually matter.

Tentacles? Really? I mean, Renny is already a shota boy, and you're bringing tentacles into the mix? Especially with all the ladies around?

Also, a description of what it looks like would be nice.

That's either going to go wrong or very very right.

Menarker
04-23-2010, 10:26 AM
Description will come when it is introduced, but it's not a big stretch from a normal Shuckle. The shell btw, is blue as in later generations not purple like it was in the original generation.

The original form had tentacles too. This one is just a bit more obvious about it. ^,^

And there is a different reasons why you should worry about the tentacles. :3 Revealed at a moment more to my liking. ^^

I'm only half arguing the environmental issue because it's a valid opinion although AB said that these things are kinda subject. Like how Sunny Day while it boosts fire types, also boosts grass type despite being weak to fire. Typing isn't the supreme factor to the entire morale thing which itself was an invented concept. Mollesk actually got a legit reason which wasn't just made up but was actually in the games by the locations they could be found (and in real life is based on a sort of porous rock but I'm going overboard here.).
If AB thinks that part is a problem, then I'll accept it.

Dracorion
04-23-2010, 10:36 AM
You know what? I don't wanna know anymore.

About Mollesk, I mean. You still have to come clean about everything else you and AB have been discussing behind our backs.

EDIT: I'm not expecting Impact to do well, though I'd remind people that he is a slayer, so maybe show him to be more effective than Pierce?))

Oh come on. Shizuka at least had the decency to beat your character around. All she deigned for Pierce was a jerkass-kiss and a shove.

Besides, you already get to be more effective by not being the one in front.

EDIT 2.0: Y'know, I've been wondering why Impact is okay with the Kimonos. I mean, they're the ultimate Slayers, sure, but they have no problem with Pokemon.

Don't worry about those PMs. About the only thing you might object to in those PMs is the fact that Renny seems to like spending a lot of time around Lola. Preferably in her Lopunny form, preferably with much less clothing on than she has now, and preferably with lit pheromone scented candles, a large bed, some wine, and Barry White.

And when I saw Barry White, what I mean is that he's actually there singing to his own songs, not just some CD in a damn $2000 stereo surround sound system. Because Renny's pimp like that.

Dracorion

As soon as it's Pierce's sidequest, he's going to have group sex with every single woman in the RP.

Except Charlotte.

Well, maybe Charlotte to keep everyone in line.

EDIT: Actually, I was hoping Shizuka would deploy her pokemon to deal with Nagarai. Then again, I was sorely underestimating her. Didn't think she could fire freakin' energy blasts.

Still, Pierce isn't gonna want Nagarai messin' up his duel, and Nagarai's not going to back down, so if you could edit in Shizuka calling out her beastie for Nagarai at the end there that'd be great.

Astral Harmony
04-23-2010, 02:09 PM
That's an awesome sidequest. I can see it all now...

Rayleen: "Okay, today's mission is to get Pierce to have group sex with at least every female character in Pokemon Umbral, ever."
Rachel: "Yeah, I'm still kind of seventeen years old."
Rayleen: "I don't think he's going to care about that."
Lola: "I thought he was a closet homosexual who preferred beastiality with his own Pokemon?"
Rayleen: "He may have been, but the guy controlling him from the other side of the forums decided that he was going to have group sex with every single female NPC."
Harliette: "What about Samantha? Pierce wouldn't do his own sister, would he?"
Lola: "..."
Harliette: "Would he?"
Rachel: "..."
Harliette: "Would he?"
Rayleen: "..."
Harliette: "Would he?"
Seaking: "Fuck yeah, incest!"
Harliette: "Well, since it's his sidequest and you're going to come up with an unacceptable rebuttal to every reason we can think of not to do this so we'll end up having to accept anyways, I just have to ask: why is this a mission?"
Rayleen: "Allow me to present the mission zone."
Harliette: "Listen to me when I'm sayin' stuff!"
*a large hologram representing all of Fainas Metropolis is displayed*
Rayleen: "First, there're the female NPCs here in the PATCA agency. Then, he's going to have to go to Ricewood Masterworks to have sex with both Professor Ricewood and my comatose mother. Next, we'll go to the police station and he can hook up with Officer Jenny. Finally, we're going to the Pokemon center in McGinnis Square so he can finish with Nurse Joy and the Pokesapiens who will somehow be there just as we arrive. There are also some other locations far outside of the metropolis we'll have to go to so we can complete the mission, but that can all be done in a subsequent objective. Any questions?"
Harliette: "Ugh, finally. Does this really need to be a mission?"
Rayleen: "Yes. There are a number of potential adversaries that Pierce will need to defeat or decieve to accomplish this mission. First off is the toughest foe, his Pokemon Aria the Nagarai. If she even found out about the mission before it starts, she's certain to unleash electrical hell on all of us. Other opponents are sure to rise up as the mission progresses. Charlotte obviously isn't going to simply allow Pierce to have sex with her, so we'll to drug her drinks when she goes out tonight."
Lola: "Is that all?"
Rayleen: "Nope. Lola, I need you to have sex with Pierce first. The reason why is that, after he's done with you, you can hook up with Renny. Be in your Lopunny form and wear your sexiest lingerie. We'll need to have Renny sufficiently distracted so that Pierce can enter the Tresserhorn residence and do Renny's mom."
Rachel: "Well, Renny's mom has got it going on."
Rayleen: "This series of sidequest missions will conclude at the Fahngrest Ruins where Pierce will deflower all of the Kimonos. After all that is done, we'll initiate new sidequest objectives as necessary when new female NPCs are introduced. Particularly at Mission Four at the beach, Pierce will need to have sex with the new NPC Snagger and the other female members of the Thirteen Eevee Threat as each is introduced."
Lola: "This is going to get this RP cancelled."
Harliette: "True, but what a way to cancel it. I mean, c'mon, how many RPs end up with a harem orgy? I can't think of one."
Rayleen: "If that's everything, then let's arm up and get ready. Pierce has got a lot of women to ravage and that number increases by about eighteen or so per mission so we'd better get started now."

Dracorion
04-23-2010, 02:19 PM
That is awesome.

Hell, we could make that the finale of Pierce's sidequest. I know a simple way to introduce it. I'm totally serious.

Of course, it'd mean all the rest of the PCs would be spending a hella lot time sitting on the sidelines not doing anything, but I'm okay with that.

I'm not sure Pierce's Nagarai would fight him or help him. All she wants is Pierce, I'm not sure she'd complain if she had to share because she'd still have him.

By the way, you didn't mention the female Ruin General. Don't you try to hide her.

EDIT: Anyway, provided AB gets Shizuka to pull out her legendary, I'll post later.

Couple of comments about Pierce's... revised RP.

1: Catgirl Android Kimono was mentioned to NOT be a sexaloid. Meaning what's going to be down there is either nothing, but something resembling clockwork gears that would tear Pierce's fleshy protrusion to bits. Might wanna do her first. :3

2: Fujiko. Demon form spider or human? (She might be vain or angry enough to do both.)

3: Mika could be considered a Loli.

4: Renny's mom is not only highly guarded with pokemons and her husband, but her figure is easily the most average compared to everyone else.

5: Dinner, the overhuman would easily reverse if not eliminate the situation considering she wiped the floor with the entire Kimono force. (Mental image of her grabbing said Kimono girls by the ankles, force bounded their knees and rub floor with boobs, hair, face while being all haughty about it. I gotta find a way to stop getting random naughty images in my head just because a commonly used phrase left my lips.)

6: Incest, enough said.

7: (Wonders if one of the "random" girls that Pierce meets ends up being a trap. Futa)

*Lists example of incest, girl in coma, milf (three), hot scientist, loli, beastility... probably a few more.*

And this after the sheer indigination of Pierce being greedy! Pierce better hope he can fight a rather one-sided battle. =P

*Is only slightly happy because Renny at least gets Lola.*

ANYHOW, I assume from AB's post that he got my most recent PM and either is thinking it over, or got no comments and will implement it when it's all ready.

Astral Harmony

She'll pull it out, but it most likely won't happen until we're under siege. Even brainwashed cultists aren't completely retarded, so we need to give of the illusion of being somewhat defeatable. Rayleen does want them to attack, after all. Throwing out magical powers and legendaries left and right might give them to pause to consider just how badly they're going to get their asses whupped.

How badly are those asses going to get whupped? Well, I'll just provide a mind-blowing hint by naming Mika's legendary: Mewthree.

I read that PM, and I'm thinking of having the real party kick off right at the end of it. Just a big honkin' post throwing us right into a fight against Faynoc's Pokebrid assassins.

I'm honestly curious, what would Impact have done last round? And this round?

I was wondering that while I was usurping control.

Rayleen's father died when they fell off that cliff. Well, maybe he didn't, her father is really Vladdie, and she only refers to him as dead because calling their relationship "strained" is the understatement of the century.

Also, I asked this before but you didn't see it I guess, why does Impact like the Kimonos? They use pokemon!

Geminex
04-23-2010, 08:24 PM
They use pokemon, but they don't rely on them. They really don't seem to need them.

Last round... probably whipped out some heavier weapons, checked if Shizuka can dodge bullets as well as she dodges blades.

This round... Not sure. It sure as hell wouldn't have involved seduction. The only reason I'm having him agree to this is because of awkwardness potential, and because he's been pretty much asexual so far.

Dracorion
04-23-2010, 08:27 PM
Yeah well, when Pierce said it was a longshot that was another understatement. It's not really so much seduction as it is distraction. Kind of like she did to Pierce, but I doubt you could get Pierce's reaction out of Shizuka.

You can still pull out some heavier weapons while Pierce has her distracted, though, if you think that's better.

EDIT:They use pokemon, but they don't rely on them. They really don't seem to need them.

I do, in fact, think that's better. He can try to seduce Shizuka later. When they're all drunk.

Wonder if he'll like Pierce the Battle Master.
Probably. As long as he keeps using pokemon, he's enforcing society's trend of pokemon-reliance. The kimonos aren't, there's the big difference.

And like I said, once he has mind control, he'll almost certainly be going after Rayleen.

Dracorion
04-23-2010, 11:15 PM
"Going after Rayleen" in a good way or a bad way?

Actually, with Impact it's always a bad way. Going after Rayleen in a murder way or a sex way?

I should think Impact wise enough to know that he can never seduce Shizuka. But by openly groping and saying the most disgusting things he could hopefully maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaybe, if the stars align, Shizuka is having her period, and God decides to intervene and make her particularly vulnerable to offensive behavior, piss her off. Which would mean pain, but also hopefully a chance to strike.

Not to mention Shizuka established that they were fighting dirty. Well, actually, Impact did.

Of course, it's never going to work and they're never going to win, but Pierce is trying to come up with the most realistic way to win the fight. Impact isn't taking the duel seriously enough, which is frankly a huge disrespect.

But hey, if you want to keep Impact an asexual blob, that's fine by me.

I don't- but- The Kimonos would be using pokemon the same as Pierce if he was a Battle Master! Are, actually!

Geminex
04-24-2010, 12:39 AM
Actually, with Impact it's always a bad way. Going after Rayleen in a murder way or a sex way?

In a "Rayleen... regain your hatred. Pokemon... the inclusion of pokemon in our society, is doing untold harm! Join me, Rayleen. I cannot offer you vengeance... but we can make sure that this never happens again. Join me." way.

Of course, it's never going to work and they're never going to win, but Pierce is trying to come up with the most realistic way to win the fight. Impact isn't taking the duel seriously enough, which is frankly a huge disrespect.

Impact just used stimulants and an assault rifle. That's about as serious as it's gonna get, until he gets out the flamethrower. Whereas Pierce hasn't even deployed his pokemon, insisting on fighting himself.

Now, I'm not sure, but I'd say that the guy who's going all-out seems to be taking this more seriously than the guy who desperately wants to prove himself by intentionally weakening himself.

And besides, Pierce's plan is in no way an effective strategy, nor is it in any way "realistic". It's silly. There's so many flaws there that it physically hurts. I mean, I'm sure seeing Impact get turned away and humiliated by an angry Shizuka might turn Pierce on, but he needs to learn to live out his Freudian fantasies on his own.

If anything, when the battle's over I might have Impact approach Shizuka, discuss their performance, maybe make some clumsy attempts at flirtation and then, midway through the conversation, pull out his revolver and try to shoot her. That'd be an effective way of exploiting sexual tension. Not groping Shizuka to make her angry.

Edit: I don't- but- The Kimonos would be using pokemon the same as Pierce if he was a Battle Master! Are, actually!
But they're not dependent on them. Even if Pierce goes Battle-master, he'll at least in part rely on pokemon. And besides, I doubt the Kimonos would actively fight again Impact's long-term plans.

Alternately, you could just remain silent, and I'll just start taking my evil plans constructive suggestions to PM as well! What fun it will be to, for once, not expect Impact's being evil!

You know, you would find out most of this stuff in a day or two at most, and while most of it would be INTRIGUING to your character, few of it should be negative. Heck, it might even turn out to be a bonus down the line! =P

Like I keep telling you, Geminex, those PMs aren't much more than "Hi, im Renny! i r triying to gte 1nt0 L0la's pantz0rz LOL!" and I actually meant it when I said it the first time. There is talk about his Mollesk, but that's not much.

Oh, and some bullshit about love potions, but I'm really close to put a huge stopsign on that one right there. We're not having the temporary multiple crush episode because of this or that love-inducing effect and I mean it. And if you try shit, I'll make it turn out weird! Expect shit like Impact falling in love with Pierce's Nagarai. Then you'll be sorry.

...

You'll be laughing your ass off, but somewhere deep inside you'll be sorry.

I wasn't actually picturing Impact as that bulky and muscular. Strong, yes, but more lean and mean. Maybe double, or one and a half times Shizuka's weight. Probably double.

Also, they're grappling, yes? In close physical proximity? Particularly their faces?
...
Drac, if Impact were to kiss Shizuka (purely as a combat ruse, of course), could Pierce use the distraction to jam a knife in her back?

Hi, im Renny! i r triying to gte 1nt0 L0la's pantz0rz LOL!

That makes me want to see them even more. But fair enough. As long as we never have another PATCAzord again.

Also, are we leaving Dantefalcon behind? I'd hate to drop down to three people.

Nah I'm still here. Just been a bit tired and busy with a threatre gig in real life. Last show is tonight and set strike is tomorrow so my free time will increase by a rather large amount.

Nice. Good luck with the theater. What play/what role?

And what is this? Nobody's online! You're all supposed to be online around this time!

"You forgot to count yourself, you clod! You'd hate for us to drop to FOUR!"

Also, the love potion thing comes a bit from the anime, so I'm not just making shit up... well, not all of it.

Motion to declare the anime non-canon and silly? Really silly.

And yeah, I mis-counted somehow. Silly me.

Also, I just realized I haven't criticized Menarker's new pokemon yet. I shall do so vigorously tomorrow.

Okay, maybe "realistic" and "serious" wasn't the way to go. How about this: Pierce is laying down groundwork for the future. See, he's going to fight Shizuka again if the opportunity comes up, and he plans to be better prepared. To that end, he wants to know what buttons she has that he can push, if any. (Besides, if he used pokemon it would suck). Of course the flirtation plan isn't likely to work, but Pierce wants to know for sure whether or not Shizuka is secretly a thirteen-year-old girl (you wouldn't expect her to be, but then, you wouldn't expect Rayleen to be one too and guess what happened?). If Impact was serious about the rivalry, he'd be trying to find out too.

The reasons for making Impact do it are: again, she and anyone would see right through it if it was Pierce. Secondly, if it works, whoever did it is in a world of hurt. Better Impact than Pierce.

But that wouldn't help us at all for this battle.

Edit:
But they're not dependent on them. Even if Pierce goes Battle-master, he'll at least in part rely on pokemon. And besides, I doubt the Kimonos would actively fight again Impact's long-term plans.

Okay, I gotta figure out how to tell this to Impact in the RP, but Pierce doesn't rely on pokemon at all. He could've become a Slayer at any point, I mean hell, look at him now: against any enemy that isn't a seven hundred and fifty year old superstrong superfast Demon he would do well enough, and that's without any actual Slayer training. And Impact knows Pierce doesn't think he has to rely on pokemon because he's not doing that right now.

Pierce doesn't use pokemon because he has to, or because it's been imprinted into his brain since forever because that's what people have always done that he has to. He does it because he wants to, because he trusts his pokemon with his life, and, most importantly, because they want to. Pierce didn't actually catch any of his pokemon, they approached him and wanted to join him. Well, except technically Tyranitar. And he encourages them to do what they want (this is why he hasn't been harder on Nagarai, even though he was plenty hard on her during the months she was stalking him), even if they want to go back into the wild. His pokemon are content to protect him, help him, and follow his orders in battle (even Nagarai does what Pierce tells her in a fight).

I could list how Pierce met and befriended his pokemon, if you'd like.

Also, there's a huge flaw in Impact's plan for world domination. Mainly, even if he takes away pokemon from people he can't exterminate pokemon everywhere. The world would still be dangerous, and without pokemon people would have to learn how to fight for themselves. He'd be asking people to risk their lives, instead of the safer choice of having pokemon fight for them (and even the pokemon wouldn't be at risk because they just return to their balls when fainted!).

Drac, if Impact were to kiss Shizuka (purely as a combat ruse, of course), could Pierce use the distraction to jam a knife in her back?

Theoretically yes, but his knife is currently in his jacket which is next to his belt and the scythe handle on the ground a distance away.

He could try to drive a sword through her back, though. Or a katana. Or a sword and a katana. Provided he doesn't aim for anything to vital, she should be mostly all right. Plus he can't drive them in too far or he could hit Impact.

Maybe he'll "slip" and run a sword through both Shizuka and Impact.

By the way, I can already tell Shizuka is going to realize what Impact's doing. Pierce is gonna have to try and stab her in a way that doesn't screw Impact if she dissapears, shows up behind Pierce and pushes him, sword first, into Impact.

EDIT: And what is this? Nobody's online! You're all supposed to be online around this time!

No one is ever online at that time! Only you, because you're German!

Well, sometimes me. If I get up early. So almost never.

EDIT 2.0: I just gave AB the best setup ever. We have more than enough girls for a cheerleading squad. Mmmmm...

We may have enough girls for a cheerleading squad, but I don't think any of them are emotionally invested in the fight enough to be anything but a mildly interested audience at most. I don't think any of them are currently interested in Pierce or Impact romantically or so, and none of them dislike Shizuka enough to cheer for you guys attempting to beat her down.

Well, Mika is somewhat interested in Impact...

Aria is pretty much doing it solo for Pierce.

They don't have to care about the fightor anyone in it!

All it takes is for them to think it'd be fun to play cheerleader.

Well, entirely possible if they were in the sort of exhibitionist mood, dancing for the sake of showing off. (Which I'm not being sarcastic, some of them did some karaoke.)
