Can this be a rule?

Does it bug anyone else that when someone uses a swap tag as the first line of a signature, it looks as if it's supposed to be part of the post? The signature divider disappears when you do it.

An easy way to fix it would just be add a space before you put in the stupid swap tag, people who have swapping signatures. Could that be a rule?

In some cases, the tag is, in fact, being used to keep them from being too long.

For the most part, I think people are being pretty responsible with it. Really, it only has come up in a couple places and while it confused me a bit at first, I got over it pretty quickly.

I really don't think any rule is needed, to be honest, but if push comes to shove, either users could be asked to include a blank line or the series of underscores could be replaced with a simple <hr/> while we're making changes to the layout.


Edit: Better alternative, just shave a bit (3 pixels?) off the top of the blue area. It actually crosses into the line above it.

I just mention it now since I've seen it in multiple signatures, and mentioning it would no longer be, "MAN THAT GUY'S SIGNATURE IS ANNOYING. I HATE HIM", and more just, "MAN, THAT TAG IS ANNOYING. I HATE IT'S CURRENT ANNOYING USES."

I do get that it's to keep signatures from getting huge, it's just a suggestion that maybe there's something that can be done about it before it gets to the point of aggravating more than just me. :P

This is kind of annoying, I tried to space it in mine but vB ate the empty linebreak, I should stop being lazy and go put in a 111111 spacer.
