I hate you and the 700 emails in my inbox.

I was supposed to spend 30-90 minutes doing routine updates and maintenance on the webserver. Along the line, MySQL crashed. There wasn't enough RAM to load it afterwards and it ran out of memory. I had to create a new 2GB swap partition...I had to modify all kinds of confs...reboot twice...the list goes on.

I started at 8-ish...it's 11:20. I'm so annoyed.

I'm going to bed.

I updated our mysql version and rebooted it just now. There were no errors on load. We shouldn't have any more database issues.
