Aw crud. For some reason I thought the log pose pointed to the nearest island rather than particular islands. If that's wrong and Mikhail's response now makes no sense, let me know and I'll fix it.

nope it just locks onto an island. also you do not have to go to the island it points to. Spend enough time on another island, it will sync up with it, then point you to a completely different island.

If this helps

when reset on Island A it will always point to island B

However if you instead go to island C long enough for it to reset, it will direct you to island D. and until it resets will continue pointing to B

But dont worry, no one says your character is an expert on Grand Line navigation

I'm totally guessing that the island is meant to be undisturbed and kept in total symmetrical nature. If a food item is removed, or a tree destroyed, a balance must be kept on the other side or chaos ensues which further mucks it up and makes it hard to set back or something. ^^; Just a really wild speculation.

Too bad Cyrano isn't observant about that sort of thing.

this is my favorite part of GMing, watching the players try and figure out what exactly I have planned. Either pride when they figure out the clues and guess right, or sadistic glee that you fell for it.

That's what I was thinking too. Meaning Mik and Gunther would be screwed, while Vind and Cyrano might have some chance of survival. Rugnar, Carapi and Dorian might be the only survivors. XD

For those of you not too well versed in the setting, Pluton are legendary weapons that are basically equivalent to nuclear bombs

Everyone here posts decently regular, Rugner just didn't have anything to do. Making a post saying "Rugner is bored so he scratches his butt" seemed sort of silly.

Aerozord could always just take over Prem's character and play him when he's needed to do captainy things. Then Prem could post when he's able to, and Aerozord could post when Prem's not around. That way we still have a captain and we don't have to worry about anyone being unavailable.

Aerozord...One thing I wonder though.

Cyrano was practically carving a line along the "ground/sand" when he docked with Vind and dragging it along, making a trail to follow back to the rowboat in case they got lost. Was the beast just ignoring/enduring the cut waiting until they got closer to the center or did you forget about that and it should have reacted sooner?

a few anatomical things about this monster, its a circular ring of teeth and right now its basically rising up. Its more like a worm and will close itself off. The island has dirt and sand on it. Even without that it has poor sense of pain there. The plants are all part of it, so if cutting a tree or pulling off some fruit wont do anything, dragging a boat wont. Mostly just senses pressure so it knows when foods there

oh and I know bits of my post might make you go, ehhh, but this is one piece and if bad guys if devil fruit powers can be launched thousands of feet into open sea and still come back, I think this is reasonable in the setting. Especially with causality tweaking crew member

I was also under the impression that the sea stone would leave you a little weak after contact. So if he gets Rugner and Cyrano gets you, everything (hopefully) should come together.

Still around. Kinda depressed about my character a slight. It only just dawned on me that I created a "Naruto clone" entirely by accident. My character is basically a slightly modified copy of Kisame, the shark swordsman. I'm suprised no one called me out on that.

I should probably put here that Mr. Winner is a very very, VERY powerful grenade launcher.

The shots for it are rather expensive to make and the kilotons of power it possesses make it a weapon you don't want to use except in open territory.

Think of Mr. Winner as a gun with the personality of the Demoman. It WANTS to be fired and blow shit up. Gunther just doesn't want to kill everyone in the room (and the bar and 10 miles in any one direction...). More backstory on Mr. Winner as the RP progresses.
