Cake! For Everyone! (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TFtfQ1tjr3I)
Cakey Please! (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wFoKfmCdFys)
The top trailer is for the PS3 version of the game, dubbed "Fat Princess." The bottom trailer is for the PSP version, dubbed "Fat Princess: Fistful Of Cake." Yeah. And you see the game play up there? Virtually unchanged. There's really no difference.
I was a fan of this game when they released it via PS3 PSN, though only picked up the free demo. I saw the game in an HMV today, started playing it on the bus, and the bus trip was gone. I looked up and I was like three stops away from home. The bus ride sans Fat Princesses is close to an hour long.
The game is like a medieval Team Fortress 2.
No, really.
You've got the Medic, equatable to the Priest, the Worker is the Engineer... Hell, the worker upgrades your hats! What more do you want? Oh, yeah - hats. You start off in a medium sized map, a base on either side. In your base are several machines, each dispensing a specific hat. The moment you put on the pope hat, you're a Priest. The minute you put on the battle horns, you're a Warrior. It's that simple.
The goal of the game is to rescue your princess - meaning you run all the way to the other base and carry your princess back to your base while avoiding everyone else and the enemy has to do the same to you.
The game is very fun, easy to get into, and now that it's portable you have no excuse not to buy it.
