- Images that are just plain old images with nothing discernaby funny or jokey about them

- "Motivational posters"

Don't hotlink images, rehost them. For example on:

www.tinypic.com
www.dropbox.com

or any other dedicated image hoster you know.

Clarification on "do not hotlink": if you're directly using the address of a picture you found on a site, and that site hasn't provided you the address or forum code ready to post, you're hotlinking.

ALSO:

- only one picture per post. Exceptions made for images that are in series, or you know if you have like, two images that are both just that mindblowingly fantastic then maybe we'll let it slide.

- at least every third post has to have an amusing picture in it. If you absolutely have to have a tangential discussion that's fine, just throw in a few pictures for content too.

Honestly though we're not so much enforcing those last two as just putting them here as guidelines for how to best keep the Thread For Fun Things full of Fun Things.

Especially the colorist and inker. I just hate Rob's cross-hatching for some reason. Nah, Rob Liefeld is the one who's terrible and misinformed. I'm just amazed that he managed to draw a picture with that many people, with different expressions (kinda) and poses even, without screwing up any anatomy or perspective. (Well, except on Deadpool.) Though you can tell by the scowls and cheekbones Rob actually drew most of the people in the background. Just that he's able to draw that much without it being a disjointed blur of rippling pecs and imaginary muscle groups shows that he has *shudder* grown as an artist.

And hey it looks perfectly natural how he only drew four feet in that 40+ crowd shot.

It's pretty much getting to that point, too. They have an Eevee for fire, ice, grass, electric, water, psychic, dark, and normal (Eevee itself). That leaves poison, steel, flying, fighting, rock, ground, dragon, ghost, and bug.

I'm going to guess that dragon, ghost, and bug are somewhat out of the question. Any way you cut it, Eevee accounts for roughly half of all types now.

Because the Leaf Stone was already in G1 and they needed to cover their asses.

I suppose they could have used the new sun-shaped rock they added for Grass types (seriously, why does Grass get two? oh, right, that alternate evo bit). But then they already had it evolve into Glaceon in a snow area, so it was probably just easier/lazier/more dickishly restrictive to force the player to get it by trudging around a different special place in one specific game. It annoys me in SoulSilver because the data is in there, but it's only possible to get those two via trade, meaning I'll never see one. They could have, you know, broken continuity a bit, or added a couple new stones or something like "Rock From [Very Special Forest]" or "Snowball From [Snow Place]".

Hell, with the big deal they make out of Ilex Forest, they could have at least changed that so you could get Leafeon there. It's not like they didn't make other major changes to the world like with the berry and Apricorn trees (which subsequently made berries fucking impossible to come by, which is a real dick move when you require a ton of them to cure that Miltank and don't play enough to reasonably ensure you can grow them without them croaking).

The writers over at ArenaNet did a pretty good job, at least in my opinion and that of other GW players, with getting humor in throughout the game.

I was actually talking about the games. If we want to do the show, then there's an Officer Jenny in every town but Palette, and the same for Nurse Joy. Also, the Jennies' Growlithes are actually pretty strong.
