No srsly, I have like 4 albums of hip hop on itunes. Well, 5 now. I picked up Kid Cudi's Man on the Moon: The End of Day. I'm really enjoying it right now. I was turned onto him by a friend telling me a song was really cool to listen to high, so I was kind of skeptical given my non-stoner nature. The music on this album is really cool though. I am for sure enjoying this.

The Pursuit of Happiness (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7xzU9Qqdqww) (Clean, I just like the video over the still album cover)

Day 'n' Nite (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5RXnLaKCRqQ)

The Cleveland rapper/singer said the disc was going to have a dream concept throughout, that’s “really trippy.” What I did was I tried to make a story that you could follow along to,” he explained. “So the track listing is somewhat of a table of contents like something you would see in the beginning of a script. It’s broken down into five acts, there’s three scenes on average per act. Each scene is a song. Each act has a title and it tells you what part of the dream is happening because the whole album is a dream. And there’s nightmares so each song that’s a nightmare will have the title nightmare next to it so you’ll be in that state of mind when you listen to it.”

So I know I'm late to the Kid Cudi party, but I usually sort of ignore the artists certain friends bring up <.< Anyone else here into this guy? Think there are other songs that better show him off? Think my taste in music is awful?

The Crookers remix for Day n' Nite is superior, but yes I'm much happier when he comes on the radio at work versus the other crap that plays.
