I'm restarting signups for this, for my own reasons. Mostly those involving downtime.
Fewer roles this time around in order to more accurately represent the way the games work. I realized the defense doesn't call witnesses, it is their job to cross-examine them for accuracy and such.

So, basically I'm re-vamping Nuklear Wright to be more like the source material.

Victim A was responsible for guarding the room that holds the forum's server. Culprit B, in an act of sabotage for some higher purpose (which may or may not be explored in the case), killed the Vic so he could take down the forum and perform his other duties unimpeded.

The prosecution contends that Ryanderman broke into the Bee Cannon construction compound to steal delicious weaponized honey, accidentally causing a power surge that overloaded the cannon's central control mechanism and burned it out, resulting in the bees within going wild and swarming the town, as well as rendering the machine damaged beyond repair.
Case Information (as unveiled during case)
Spotted on Security Cameras at 4am.
Found in home, covered in honey with jars of honey all around him. (you could say he was caught with...Sticky fingers? YEAAAAAAH)
Is a Student.
Got in a fight with NonCon at Local Drinking Establishment (or LDE for cool people)
Tripped over cord before cameras blacked out.
Was not stung by bees.

Suspect did not have any kind of bee-repelling stuff on him.

Uses killer bees to protect the forums from invaders. NPF Avvy defense has been deemed overkill by mayor, forumgoers.

Controlled by Mindhive, which communicates with murderous bees via nectar.
Also makes delicious honey.
Has been in the papers for months.

Evidence:
Cheap security cameras present the worst possible footage of a crime since NPF Preschool's wallmounted four year olds with crayons.
Ryanderman entered, loudly announced his name (which clued in investigators on his identity)
Suspect talks to honey as if it could talk back, in high language. Misused “thieve” properly in a sentence.
Tripped over cord on way out, while carrying a lot of honey, making delicious spill while dropping an F-bomb. Suspect must have really sharp ankles. Or Bee Cannon uses squishy worms as power cords.

Ooh! Ooh! I know that thesis project from back when I was a welfare student sleeping in the men's locker room (last week)! I should get Ryanderman's autograph or something, because I used it as basis for my own thesis as to why canned catfood stayed fresh longer if kept on top of a fanstyle radiator.

The real cool thing about it was...bah, you guys probably don't care anyway.

Claims:
Does not have any actual use for thesis, as it is purely theoretical (poor laymen Attorneys at law! Do they not know anything?)
Furthermore, has never been to or worked at the Bee Cannon
Does not think the clever disguise involved stealing his clothes.
The viscous damping in (his) studies is merely the mathematical model used to approximate the effect of damping on vibrating solid mechanical structures. It has nothing to do with bees, or honey, or whatever other crazy activities it appears they get up to at that (the bee cannon).


NonCon:
Claims:

Made bee cannon to protect NPF
Imagines a world where you could never be stung.
Supposedly, In spite of weaponizing bees, he believes the technology could also protect us from bees.
Ryanderman could have sobered up between LDE and Bee Cannon.

Testimony:

The Bee Cannon project was nearing it's completion, when he decided to go the LDE.
Apparently while there, Ryanderman spilled his drink on him.
To him, Ryanderman was yelling incoherently.
The next morning the machine was ruined.
He saw the video recording, and knew it was Ryanderman.

Ack! Sorry for the late update! I had vaguely nonspecific things that prevented me ever since maybe yesterday from forming a reply to recent events! Totally understandable! I even had a change of clothes!

NonCon:
Can't give a rational reason for how his system done exploded and created bee chaos after Ryanderman tripped a wire.
Has criminally bad security for Special Bee Cannon, if just any ol' drunken jerk can wander in and let loose the swarm.

The man has been known to show up for class with a hangover after catching a small whiff of antifreeze the day before and slur his speech after putting a drop of rum on his tongue.
