I do all my writing on Microsoft Word 2003 and it just won't respond when I open it. What could the problem be?

Could be a number of issues. Try Ctrl+Alt+Del and ending the process tree, going straight to the file rather then the shortcut and left click it, and run it as the highest authority you have on your PC.

If that doesn't work, we'll have to try PLAN OMEGA.
