So, the first comic of the six page crossover posted today. I haven't seen an axecop or dr mcninja thread in a while, so I thought Id post this one.

Anywho, apparently Malachai and Chris wrote the story(I heard Chris tossed an idea and Malachai expanded on it immensely) and Chris and Ethan are drawing it(Ethan gets the first 3 pages, so stay tuned to Axe Cop's site for them).

Took me an hour to load the first page as Axecop site is getting hammered. I guess he made a great impression at comic con and his notoriety and this crossover are getting a lot of people to read his comic:)

They definitely have a lot of the same fans. Just realize that the story is written by a 6 year old(he was 5 when it started) and drawn by his 29 year old brother, so it's got a lot of imagination in it.

I knew there was something missing from my life, but now I realize it was two things - Axe Cop and Dr. McNinja. I think this team up will finally get me to start reading both on a regular basis.

Axe Cop is wow, I've never really read it till now, but wow. This thing is awesomeness to the max!

The writing and plot is better then anything coming out of hollywood lately!

well actual writing quality is rather choppy, since this is a comic though it doesn't hurt it that much. Its the same problem pretty much everyone has when they first start writing. I can see why it shares the same fans as McNinja though. Its really out there, and he knows how to take those random ideas and make then into coherent moments of awesome.
