Awesome tag?

Because people would use it incorrectly because they are special snowflakes and of course their thread is awesome but in fact it is quite lame.

This thread, though? Totally awesome.

Here's my thought on an awesome tag... Why not create tags that only Moderators can apply? Something like the gold/silver/bronze of thread tags. And not something that keep our mods running around the place, applying only once in a while, for very special threads.

(You might even consider an epic fail tag.)

We're actually half-heartedly talking about that but I think we more or less all agree that it's best to keep the tags a fun little addition with no official serious rules attached (except "use one"). Also pretty sure we won't ever include anything that's based on the words "epic", "fail" or "win."

e: I wouldn't say this is a "veto" as much as "making an educated guess about what the others might say, based on my estimations" but I couldn't in good conscience say I wouldn't veto the heck outta that.
