Obama says 'For my next trick, we'll solve the economy crisis." (http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/middleeast/iraq/7954677/US-troops-withdraw-from-Iraq-despite-fears-over-violence.html)

Seriously though, we were in Iraq for seven years. I'm not entirely sure if we kept things completely under control what with the bombings, and the soldiers that were killed, but what did we accomplish in Iraq that has Obama saying "Mission Accomplished?"

...At least he's not wearing a flight suit.

There's an earthquake in Haiti that renders a corrupt nation on it's knees, and in less than a few months we've got celebrities running for the presidency. (http://www.time.com/time/world/article/0,8599,2008588,00.html)

What's up in Iraq right now?

By getting out of Iraq, we of course mean scaling down to exactly the kind of presence we had at the beginning of the Vietnam war, i.e. not getting out of Iraq.

Being as how there was no mission to accomplish in the first place I'd say any reduction in troop levels to slowly get us out of the most pointless conflict since Vietnam that had about as much reason behind it as the Spanish-American war (i.e. pure lies) is an accomplishment.

Hey, guys, did you know Mr. Boehner who is a really smart guy, seriously, says Obama is taking credit for the Bush troop surge's wondrous success (i.e. reducing casualties from thousands to hundreds!) I'm glad that Boehner and the rest of his party is finally taking responsibility for sending even more of our soldiers to the blasted death field that is post-Bush Iraq, but I wish they'd finally own up to their genius plan to get a million Iraqis killed through the power of deceit and make Saddam look like a pretty decent guy in comparison! He was only responsible for half a million, after all.
