I was linked to this neato site recently. (http://www.scribd.com/document_collections/2334785?page=1) It's a bunch of storyboards for Adventure Time. It's pretty interesting, seeing what got cut out or changed. Evicted apparently didn't always have a musical number, for instance.

What's funny is that Princess Bubblegum is voiced by Nia's VA from Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagaan, which makes her sounding like a total hardass hilarious(AKA that dungeon episode).

Also, Finn should be the only person to use an autotune, ever.

Yeah this show is pretty incredible. I loved it almost after the first episode.

The promos I saw before the show properly aired sort of lead me to believe it would suck, but I have seen the light. I am very ashamed of past me.

My favorite was probably the episode about the City of Thieves and the recurring theme of 'stolen purity'.

Yea, Marcelean (probably misspelled that) is exactly how you'd expect an ancient and powerful vampire to be. She just doesn't care, no one is really a threat to her and her age and experience pretty much keeps things that way. Love the second time you see her, really fleshes things out

Although I am totally impatient for 'Adventure Time' episodes, I'm willing to just let the workers work cause they must have a good creative pace going or something, there's not really one episode I haven't liked yet. Also; George Takai as the heart guy? Radical.

I didn't really care for this week's "Rainy Day Daydream." It was a pretty standard "Let's use our imaginations" plot, and the imagined stuff being real didn't really change much until the end. Not that it wasn't still good, it just wasn't as good as the rest.

Luckily, someone goofed on Adventure Time's website and next week's episode was available to clean that taste out of my brain. "What Have You Done?" is just delightful. Poor, lonely, horrible Ice King.

Ice King is great because he is what a realistic version of that archetype would be. I love how everyone is aware of it too. They dont just go "he's evil" but know that there is something seriously wrong in his head.

Man I'm probably a horrible person, but I hate the jiggler episode. Maybe it's just my undying hatred for whateverthefuck voice filter it was Finn used, but it makes the episode impossible for me to rewatch.

That said, the rest of the series is pretty cool. Sadly I don't catch it very often, though >.>

Finally saw it tonight. It was the Slumber Party episode. That was the best cartoon I have seen in a long time. I mean holy shit the "pinata" scene nearly had me on the floor.

Adventure Time is a parody of children's cartoons.

It's not surprising in either case.

Seems unlikely, it apparently got a second season after how well the first epsiode did, and got renewed for a THIRD season because of how well a later epsiode did.

I mean getting 2 seasons ordered in advance before the first season's over says it's doing pretty goddamn well and that the network likes it.

I knew this show would be awesome from the moment I saw the pilot. And so it is! Unfortunately I haven't seen all of the new episodes in fact I've missed quite a lot of them...scheduling problems I guess...anyways the new season is starting up soon and I want to catch up but there don't seem to be a lot of places to watch episodes...which sucks...but I crack up every time I do get to watch...
I'm glad CN has something worthwhile on...my brother likes that terrible Chowder show...not only are the characters obnoxious but the writing stinks.

I hope AT has a long fruitful run. It is so surreal and bursting originality. It is no surprise to me that it is popular with the older crowd because I think you have to be older to understand some of the subtleties. Plus John Dimaggio...I mean he's like the Bruce Campbell of voice actors!

Which I guess would make Adventure Time the Burn Notice of cartoons.
