Cannot connect to steam servers.

Suddenly, today, I cannot connect to steam servers through my steam client. For some reason I also cannot connect to any www.steampowered URL's to troubleshoot the problem on their instructions. Is this a problem with my network or did the servers get destroyed by terrorists when I wasn't looking?

EDIT: To clarify, only steam related sites seem to be having issues. The entire remainder of the internet works just fine.

EDIT: Things I have tried:

Tried and failed to connect using the -tcp launch setting.
Checked my router port settings.
Checked my windows firewall settings.
Tried temporarily disabling my antivirus.
Banging head on keyboard.
Crying.
Rebooting.
Power cycling computer, router, and modem.

Reinstall router firmware?

You've tried a lot of stuff I would try so that is quite puzzling that it just up and stopped working. I'm accessing it ok right now.

Got tired of messing with it. Went to sleep. Woke up. It works now. Apparently I just needed to reboot me instead of the computer?

Most likely your beard is tugging on your brain and causing some short-circuiting. You were probably looking at ww.spermpowered.com all night.

Yeah it does that sometimes. I think there is varios times they go down for the standard server stuff...and when they are fucking around with it in. It doesn't happen often but it happens to everyone

Naw, they keep a server use/time graph on their site so people can see if the servers are currently down or if other people are having problems too, and they were as many users as ever. It works now though, at least for now, and it probably/maybe wont so for now Im going to ignorantly and blissfully assume that its totally fixed forever and everything is peachy.
