I was originally going to make the thread about my one idea, but then I remembered you guys have pretty good (weird) ideas for stuff too sometimes.

If you could will into existence a tv show or movie or comic book that would basically be like your favorite movie or show or great American novel of all time, what would it be? What would it be about? And this isn't about your book that will never get published or the "great" video game you're making, but your wish for the media-wizards (or 'mizards') of something to create some other thing specifically tailored to the very special you.

So you guys probably won't even be able to top this one but whatever: Genre movies that take place within the Star Trek universe. Great, right? So you can easily go Romantic Comedy route and get some hot sex scenes in on Risa. Or you can do a Buddy-Cop/ Odd-couple movie like 'Tuvok N' Neelix: Black in Action'. Horror movie? Simple! 'Night of the Living Borg'.

I think some Japanese fan artist had a similar idea, just in your version it's produced by CLAMP.

I'd really like to play a sequel to FFVI that is a Dynasty Warriors-style brawler starring Umaro, wherein he just basically tearasses around the world beating the bejeezus out of everything in his path because he woke up on the wrong side of the cave that morning and starting punching the nearest punchable dudes.

At the end of the game, he charges past the other heroes--who themselves have been gathering in the background throughout the course of the game--as they prepare to engage some big bad fate-of-the-world endboss, and just busts in and beats the shit out of, I dunno, Necron or Sephiroth or whoever was on the other side of the door while the others just sorta stand there with their mouths hanging open in shock.

Why this is a great idea is because let's say you have a game where you're the Incredible Hulk and inevitably theres sum jackass with a gun and somehow this hurts you at all but you're the goddam incredible hulk so you're like 'UGH' and also 'WTF'. When you play an invincble bruiser you should be playing for a high score with virtually nothing to hurt you.

In 'Umaro v. the world', there are no gods or kings only Umaro

A remake of Tail's Adventure for the Game Gear, in 3D, with all other sonic characters visibly absent aside from being there in spirit, and the entire game is an advanced MetroidVania, where in order to pass barriers you have to explore the game world to find parts to build machines, defeat enemies, and find secrets, and the game world is large and seamless enough that it takes almost an hour to get from one end of the game world (an island) to the other, without using shortcuts or speed boosts, ignoring subterranean levels and aerial towers.

I'd also like a book about a guy who is replaced by a temporal duplicate possessed by his future murderer, who is challenged by another temporal duplicate of the murder possessed by his future self (the guy) with the original guy and his murder going WTF? while their future selves look on, and the entire plot is the result of past alteration leading to a universe where all intended changes to the timeline came true: the story is set within that final universe.

I, or someone else will write this book, because I already have it scribbled on poster board and it makes perfect sense.

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but don't some of the DS Pokemon games have a feature like this with a pedometer that levels up your Pokemon and other things like that?
