We should all post our favorite 3 memories from 8bit Theater, that includes your Brain. Actually, I would ESPECIALLY like to see your favorite three.

My favorite three moments are (no particular order):
-When Dragoon 'Double-Jumped' onto Black Mage
-When Red Mage enjoyed being aflame before they battled Muffin
-Any conversation between Red Mage and Megahedron

Just 3? Thats like nearly impossible, but i will make a attempt:
-"evolution is my bitch" and everything related to that that happened(this one triumphs all others)
-the 3 a-hole plan
-"faster,faster" while killing Vilbert

I can guess Brian's three most favorite moments in 8-bit Theater, in no particular order:

1. When it ended
2. When it ended
3. When it ended

:D

The ending is definitely one of them. Because I really liked the ending, not because it was an ending.

I enjoyed the whole "12 'Fuck you' Dragons" comic.

Not sure what the third would be.

Rain on my sarcasm parade w/ a serious response will ya!? *shakes fist*

Mine are:

1. Red Mage saying to the dwarf king "That's because they weren't bearded warriors like we are.." (the 'veiled meanings' thing)

2. Fighter out smarting Dr'zzl

3. THAT AWESOME EPILOGUE THAT WAS DRAWN BY THAT AWESOME GUY WHOEVER HE IS (I couldn't really think of a third thing off the top of my head, there's too many options I'd pick from... can I just say "everything else" for now? :P)

The climatic battle between Red Mage and Black Mage.

Also when the Light Warriors overcame their flaws and differences to discover the real power that lay within each of them and defeat Chaos, emerging from the experience as true heroes of legend.

My last favourite isn't really a moment, but just how the whole thing was fulfilling in every way and not anticlimatic at all.

1) The Kary battle. From when they arrived in the Volcano to when White Mage killed Kary, that was the highpoint of the series. Spot-on character-driven humor, real tension, the culmination of the Sword-Chucks arc, and the well executed plot that gave us all the Light Warriors (minus Black Mage) working together to defeat their most powerful for yet. It might be the best work Brian's ever done. It's a bit sad that he never again followed through with other "it just got real" developments later in the comic.

2) The Lich battle. Like the Kary battle, this one also did a great job merging humor with character development and plot. It wasn't quite as well-done as the Kary battle, as it's a bit stretched out in the middle when Brian was away, but it was great seeing Red Mage and Thief at the top of their game developing and executing a plan to take down the Fiend.

3) Callbacks and foreshadowing. Brian mentioned before that he loves plot points and jokes that are set up months or years in advance before the payoff. Hence the infamous #434, the Sarda/Onion Kid revelation, and the four White Mages. This was also my favorite part of the comic. The first time I laughed at this was when Fighter remembered the Cave of No Return, which I had assumed was just a silly throw-away line from the first comic. Although Brian had his fair share of dropped plot points, I appreciated that he had the foresight to set up future events, such as using the Armoire of Invincibility against Vilbert and Fighter getting four swords years before his Sword-Chuck battle.

1. When it ended
2. When it ended
3. When it ended

Technically accurate, lolz

1. Fighter breaking physics
2. Black Mage electrocuting that old guy
3. Chaos cake.

Well, those are the three from the top of my head.

1. Finding the comic, by someone poor forgotten sod's recommendation.
2. Spending a whole day reading the first 150 or so comics out loud with my friends, doing voices and everything.
3. The part where the Light Warriors sidetracked from their quest with their easily distracted hey look something shiny.

King Steve, Red Made and Fighter

They are each just one long moment.

I enjoyed the whole "12 'Fuck you' Dragons" comic.

It makes me happy you've mentioned this Brian because this was one of my favorite moments too. There was no talking their way out of it, it was simply "Fuck You." Even Red Mage didn't even attempt to argue. It was a hilarious contrast with the rest of the proceeding comic in that regard most of all; cast aside the typical but well done "Talk your way out of it" technique that the light warriors usually use.

The best moment by far was Episode 434 (http://www.nuklearpower.com/2004/06/26/episode-434-wouldnt-you-like-to-know/) from the perspective of the end of the story, looking back to when it was written years before.

Honestly I thought it seemed a little forced, but it was awesome on an epic scale.

3. Born to hunt dinosaurs
2. Akbar
1. Everything Red Mage has ever said or done that isn't related to DnD

3 moments... That's kinda difficult. But i can think for 3 quotes.

(1)
White Mage : Are there no depths that you won't sink to?
Black Mage : We won't know till we get there.

(2)
Black Mage: I've got Black Magic, a hair trigger and a short fuse. Bring It!

(3)
Chaos: And take as long as you like. As long as it takes NO MORE THAN 24 of your earth hours.
Red Mage: But you said...
Chaos: I'm Chaos!

1) "Hey, what're you doing with that knife? ARGH! You're stabbing me repeatedly in the face! ARRRGHBLE! Why are you stabbing me?! I said you could borrow the ladder! There's no reason to assault me! ARRRRRGH! Now you're kicking me as I lay bleeding in the streets in broad daylight while everyone continues to wander about aimlessly as though you were not mercilessly beating me! GHKKK! Now you're choking me! (http://www.nuklearpower.com/2001/07/23/episode-059-was-all-that-really-necessary/)"

2) The Epilogue.

3) Anything with King Steve in it.

Too much to put in order.

It was comic what basically kept site in way more active state. It was when Brian was really creative and putted more real effort to story and jokes etc instead just how cool stuff looks.

Other hand, Square Enix never has made it as official comic and Brian has nothing directly to do with them on business side I think. So anybody could just attempt to mimic his style, but that would not be Brian's work.

1) The Comic(s)
2) The Forum
3) These Guys (http://nerdyshow.com/)

E: Actually, while I loved the everything, most anything that involved time travel, heavy discussions on the forum, or incredible foreshadowing on Brian's part was excellent. I also loved virtually any reference to physics - that was always fun for some reason. Mostly, I loved the everything, but more than just the jokes, I loved how it was always based off of character interaction - everything was due to the characters themselves. That was just solid, excellent writing. Thanks Brian!

1. Black Mage
2. Red Mage
3. King Steve

Things I did not like:

1. 8-Bit Theater stopped being made
2. Black Belt's early departure (he is easliy the most awsome class in the game!)
3. Not enough King Steve
