Name: What is your name? Trolls names are usually quite different from that of a humans. On average, they seem to have 6 letters, but don't worry about that. Just try to make it sound alien.

Gender: Self explanatory. Not enough information about troll gender to give long example.

Age: How old are you? On Alternia, time is measured mostly in Solar Sweeps, and you have a 'wriggling' day rather than a birthday. A solar sweep seems to be a bit more than 2 years, as it has been stated that 6 solar sweeps is equal to 13 years. For simplicities sake, assume that this means each solar sweep is 2 years. Too little is known about the troll's calender to actually pin down exactly when your troll was hatched.

Appearance: What do you look like? Most troll's all share these traits: black lips, yellow eyes with black irises, horns that are colored almost like candy corn, fangs, and gray skin. However, no two trolls seem to have the same horns or fangs, and there has been exceptions to the eye rule, as Sollux has blue and red eyes, and Vriska has 7 red pupils in one eye. Occasionally, they seem to draw some traits from their Lusus.

Lusus: Also known as a custodian. No troll to ever meet is or her blood parents, nor is it easy to trace. Details are here (http://www.mspaintadventures.com/?s=6&p=003969). Basically, all Troll's are raised by a special sub-species of animals on their planet. Usually, their Lusus offers them protection and they act as a sort of zoo-keeper. Almost all Lususes are colored white and gray, with only a few colors scattered throughout, they also have identical blood to their troll they take care of. Some Lususes are assigned to a troll depending on their blood color. Those with Jade Green Blood are taken care of by a virgin mother grub, and the troll with the highest blood is protected by... well this (http://www.mspaintadventures.com/?s=6&p=004335). In some cases, a Lusus can be very high maintenance as well. It depends on the luck of the draw I suppose. Chances are, your lusus will die before you enter and serve as prototyping material.

Trollian Handle: To communicate with the others, you will primarily use the instant messaging system known as Trollian. Trollian is a rather odd chat client. It seems to be capable of ignoring time, and also has a view-port to see the person who you are talking with. However, these are both very complicated features and are very hard to get working properly. Your name on Trollian usually reflects something about you, like your hobbies, and text color is usually one's blood. Include a typing quirk to, if there is one.

Blood Color: Each troll has a different blood color. The color of their blood represents their place in Society. Those with shades of purple are the highest, then blue, then Green, and all others seem to be the lowest. Red in particular is rock bottom. Blood color doesn't seem to mean much else, and usually it is only the high-bloods that discriminate, but it is the color you type in on Trollian, unless you opt for anonymity. The higher blood you havem the higher your psychic resistance is, and low bloods are apparently more prone to mutation. In addition, most purple bloods are Aquatic trolls, who have gills and live both underwater and on land.

Hive: When each troll and his/her lusus arise on the surface, they then make their hive. Each troll is expected to design their own hive and choose the location, once that is done the Carpenter Drones will build it for them. Some trolls live on Communal Hive stems, which are our equivalent to apartments, and some live in Lawn Rings, which would be like a neighborhood. Some live in more isolated or esoteric places though, and not all livei n hives. Eridan lives in a wrecked Ship for example, and Nepeta lives in a cave.

Strife Specibus: What weapon does your character use?

Fetch Modus: How does your character carry items around? Usually functions as a sort of Hammer-space. Default is just the Array modus.

Title: What is your Sburb/Sgrub title? This affects what sort of abilities you might have access to once the game starts, and goes by the theme of 'X of Y'. For example, Aradia is the Maid of Time and can travel through time. I'll probably need one time person.

Dreamself: Prospit or Derse? Hoping for an even split. Each planet may have 1 person already awake.

Interests: Everyone has a hobby!

Additional Notes: Anything else about your character goes here. Does he/she have a theme song? Do they have any mutations? Abnormal abilities? All sorts of oddities can arise in trolls. Any history can be revealed as the RP goes on, but can also be stated in here.

At least one character should live near a frog temple, and at least one should also be capable of finding a means of getting it and distributing it. Don't feel pressured though. I'll probably make a GMPC who can handle that if no one wants it. The programming part can also be left to me.

But I think I can contribute, at the very least! I'm prepared and willing to put quite a bit of effort into this.

Players can go ahead and mention their characters histories in the story, and even have flashbacks. Were you a FLARP player? Maybe one of your fellow players used to be a Kismeisis?

Additional notes: People say I'm sort of an utter asshole, but they're just jealous that I'm so much more awesome than the rest of those pathetic bulgesniffing mothergrubbers. There was a period when I went through every troll in my hive when I was looking for a Kismesis, but I eventually gave up. No one could match my utter disgust towards everyone and everything. Redrom isn't really my style though; I'm too hateful to pity anyone.

I'm not Vriska, my character is actually pretty different (I'll probably make a sprite of it for my avatar at some point).

And you're right, I won't be the leader. I'll be the one either telling the leader what to do or be the person destroying everybody who doesn't listen (that includes dreamselves).

But I'm just conjecturing here and I might take a totally different stance on interaction with other trolls if it serves me better.

EDIT: I'm probably gonna be more passive about troll politics than it seems like. At worst I'll manipulate my stock exchange until I'm rich enough to bribe everyone under my command, and even that seems like a bit much.

Screw it, I'll let you guys go about until the imps thin us down to about 3 trolls remaining and then I'll barge in and save the day and then rig a planet in our new universe into an organic death star and destroy anything we don't want.

Right so I started reading Homestuck several days ago and I think it can go unsaid that it's the best thing ever (because everyone already knows that it is). I'd love to be a part of this but unfortunately I don't want to hop in without being completely caught up to the story. The good news is that I only have about ~400 pages to go. The great news is that I've been reading several hundred pages per day. So I should be all caught up tomorrow. So basically I'll check back here when I'm caught up with Homestuck (and brush up some more on Troll romance because I just learned about that and it is confusing as all hell) and see if you guys need another player. Now if you'll excuse me I have some more Homestuck to read.

His neighbors have, in what may or may not be a subtle attempt at trolling, given him the idea that he is a master of comedy; much in the same way that people might tell Earl that he’s a good person. Because of his self-assumed creativity, he also believes he’s much more hilarious than he actually is, and tries as hard as he can to never repeat an insult. This tendency often comes in handy considering his:
Fetch Modus: Rage Modus. Tergum’s Rage Modus is, appropriately enough, fueled by anger. Because hey, if I’m going to be typecast, I’m gonna do it right. Additional notes: Tergum is sort of an utter asshole, and finds most other trolls annoying. He went through every troll in his hive when he was looking for a Kismesis, but eventually gave up when no one could match his utter disgust towards everyone and everything. Redrom isn’t really his style. He also has a pathological fear of rats.

Well, I thought we'd get signups done first, then we'd all do our intro posts, then we'd start on the relationships. All we need to see each other's character sheets for is to work out who's had a relationship with whom in the past. And we could even wing that, if it comes to it!

That... uh... doesn't always work for me. I do a lot of rp-ing on my lunch break at work, and at home when I get off work at midnight. At work I'm on a computer that can't handle much more than the usual "reply to post" function. I won't even be able to upload and post images from there. And at home, I have like half an hour before work and however long I choose to stay up after work (usually midnight to two or three AM), there's rarely anybody around for me to talk to. So if we end up using that pesterchum thing, I'm afraid I'll be all alone.


I kinda think it'd be better to do the chatlogging like a normal RP, and if you want a full conversation chatlog like in MSPA, do it in PMs or arrange it with the other person beforehand in whatever way you want.

But I dunno.

Appearance: Reztek has, short black hair that spikes out in all directions in an orderly manner, nicely pointed fangs (but only for his top row of teeth, his bottom row are normal), and two perfectly straight horns that jut out on a slightly sideways and forward angle. He wears standard Troll clothing, that is to say black shoes, dark gray pants, and a black shirt emblazoned with a Royal Blue curvy line that almost resembles a stylized music note.

Lusus: Pretty much a giant snapping turtle, with a few differences. It's back shell is covered in spikes (like a bunch of pyramid shapes with connected bases forming the shell [I tried retyping this several times and that's the best I can describe it right now. I might revise it later]). It also has two perfectly straight tusks jutting upwards on a slight sideways and forward angle. (For reference by "big" I mean a little smaller than a Virgin Mother Grub)

Reztek attacks by embellishing a psychic resonance within sound waves, thus turning the sound wave into a physical attack. The strength of the attack depends solely on the volume of the sound, as such musical instruments coupled with amplifiers cause more powerful attacks.

Fetch Modus: Echo Modus: In order to captchalogue an item you must record a sound the item makes on an Echoic Captchalogue Card and to retrieve and item you must repeat that sound. The retrieval sound doesn't need to be exact, but having items with similar Captchalogue Sounds can make it difficult to retrieve what you want.

Interests: Reztek is extremely interested in creating Beautiful Troll Music that would bring tears of Hatred and Pity to every Troll. All of them. He also enjoys partaking in Extreme Role Playing, although only as a Clouder in Flarp. This is due to an almost fetishistic need to create and orchestrate things, be they Extreme Role Playing scenarios or Beautiful Troll Music.

Additional Notes: Reztek is a psychic, but not a very strong one. However has learned that he can enhance the strength of his psychic wavelength by coupling it with sound waves. This also serves as a very effective means of attack, as discussed earlier.

My horns are supposed to resemble Sonic the Hedgehog's quills, if there was a confusion there. I'll get a sprite up soon so you can see for yourself. I'm not gonna uphold my end of any kismesis, I'll just let it go and move on. Hence the fiasco with the drone.

Earl, you may want to give Aldurin a last name. And are you going to give details about the imperial drone thing in the future?

Also, it appears Earl and Overcast have gray text. Not necessarily a problem, but it may get confusing. Can you two work this out?

Aldurin is kinda as far as I can get. I have the most fucking horrendous writer's block with names, I actually pulled that one from one of my future Wesnoth campaign characters. The lack of a last name is both me not wanting to think about names anymore and the concept that my troll thinks somewhat differently and has his own standards. Giving himself a last name was not really something he was up for, and his lusus was in another depression at that point so he didn't complain.

And yes, there will be more to the Imperial Drone incident in the future.

Oh, and Gorrma Caprii will be the only troll who worries me, given the constant talk about finding a recipe so she can eat mountains, which obviously brings concern to a troll living in a mountain, and the fact that her constant devouring of everything brings up worries of personal safety and preservation of technology should they ever meet.

Unsure of potential past and future Matesprit ships, might serve as an Auspitice/Mock-Auspitice, and I don't know if I'll need a Moiralliegence regarding the conquest thing or if I'll prevent someone else from an immoral rampage.

Also, anyone up for past moirailship? I'm thinking one Moirail and maybe one tentative Matesprit would do fine to begin with. Relationships with the other trolls would be fairly neutral so far.
Moirail would probably be bright, outgoing, to balance out his introverted nature. Any candidates?

Sry has a fair amount of pep and I guess she's pretty outgoing, even if it's just online, but there's the issue of her having most likely not met any of the other players in person as of yet, unless any of them are particularly intrepid and travelled out to her hive in the past, but that's not my call. :P

Doesn't need to be face-to-face. I doubt many of the homestuck trolls had met IRL and they still loved/hated each other's guts to no end. And re-reading you bio, I guess that could work.
