I very much enjoyed the humor of it, what with the constant irony and the witty, sarcastic dialogue. My only complaint about it is the pacing. Each story seemed somewhat rushed, with very little character development, and events being made to seem somewhat insignificant because of how quickly they are resolved. Is this simply a result of the style this particular volume (the way they covered a wide variety of short stories to introduce Robo as a character) or is this style maintained throughout all the Robo volumes? Is this common in other superhero comics? Atomic Robo is the first superhero comic I've ever actually read so I'm kind of new to that medium in general.

EDIT: And for the love of god, before a thousand people come in here telling me I'm just being a player-hater and should go back to CAD, I absolutely loved reading Atomic Robo and my only problem with it is that there wasn't more to read in each story. Kind of like when people take crack they usually complain afterward that they don't have more crack to take.
