Alright, so my other Exalted game has been running for over a year now and it's a mixed Celestial game. That's great, but I feel like running an Exalted splat that I don't really get to interact with as much (unless they're being killed, but that's another story).
ANYWAY. I have a fairly short PvP idea for a Dragonblooded game. Involves a mystery, a town, and possible presence of Anathema. The PCs will either be members of the Wyld Hunt or just out there for any other contrived reason.
This thread is mostly for interest, character concepts, and questions. Once I see enough interest and character concepts I'll post the character sheet template.
Also I'm debating between whether the game should be completely freeform, or involve dice in some way. Gimme some feedback for that.

well I would like to play in an exalted game, but DBs are one of the few splats I dont have book for, could probably get one if I ask around abit.
So short answer, interested but not experienced with playing a DB
Oh and any house rules or errata you use?

Unsure if I have the experience in maximizing my character to survive well in a pvp format, but I'd enjoy giving this a shot.

Not really sure if it'd be as in-depth that everyone would need the book. The template I make would give all the info for what you need in a character, and I'd post the background info that's needed. It'll be a pretty informal game, since last time I tried running a PvP Exalted game we spent most of the time making the characters and it quickly died after a week. So. Yeah.

oh so more of a free-form RP so we wont be worrying about charms, exp, and a dice roller?

There will be charms and such. Just not really XP since I don't see it being that long of an RP (likely only a few months), and really no dice-roller since that'd be hard to do efficiently in a PvP.
For those not in the know on what Dragonblooded are, here's a link to the official Exalted Wiki: http://wiki.white-wolf.com/exalted/index.php?title=Terrestrial_Exalted
For those who chose not to read, here's the skinny:
Dragonblooded are humans who have super powers inscribed in their genetics. If they exalt as teenagers, they turn into one of five aspects of Dragonblooded. There are Fire Aspects, who are hot-blooded and passionate about everything they do and are often the fighters. There are Earth Aspects, who are more stoic and favor strength or stamina. There are Air Aspects who are the sneakier types, good for scouting and athletics. There are Wood Aspects who are the better talkers/seducers and archers. And then there are Water Aspects who are great at Martial Arts and sailing.
They're typically the weakest of the splats of Exalted, but are more powerful when working together in groups. Any Dragonblooded who works alone is either super powerful or super dead.
