For some reason, they're on different networks and one of them isn't Comedy Central, but whatever:
Tonight "Onion Sportsdome" premieres on Comedy Central at 10:30 pm eastern time.
Friday, January 21 "The Onion News Network" premieres on IFC at 10:00 pm eastern time.
I have no idea why both aren't on Comedy Central back to back but they're on at different times and days so I guess they can both be watched. I'm kind of annoyed at the IFC thing though because I don't get that on my satellite channel package permanently (it is being previewed this month but will probably disappear in February). But then again it'll probably turn out to be almost precisely like the video section of The Onion site so...
I'm not sure what these will bring to the table that the website doesn't already provide, since they already do the videos online. Plus it will probably be toned down for television versus the internet (for example, there will never be a segment entitled "Senator introduces anti-skullfucking bill" on TV), but I'm going to check these out anyway to see if they're good or not. The Comedy Central one at least should manage to be fairly uncensored for the most part.
