So as everybody is quite aware, the "urban action adventure ripping through the streets of Pittsburgh" with the codename "Magnus Rex" is really The Dark Knight Rises (not sure why they even try to obfuscate this...in fact the codename is much worse than "Rory's First Kiss" at hiding what film it is) for its month of filming in Pittsburgh this summer. I have some free time this summer and can think of worse things to spend my time on than being in a background extra in a Batman movie. The 58 dollars a day should cover my gas (if I were to actually get a part--I like to go to Pittsburgh for day trips anyway as far as trying out for it, which sounds fun and unique)
I'd probably make a good hapless businessman fleeing in terror in the background (I don't think I can pull off thug...).
Anyone else in the area going to try out?
