I'd say something, but I think you summed it up with your link.

Remember when they brought Futurama back with those movies and you wanted it to be awesome but you watched it and then it just kind of wasn't?

This is not that.

This is not that.

But I liked those movies. :(

Anyways, I'm not particularly thrilled. I'm sorta repulsed by anything made my Mike Judge after watching King of the Hill.

...Because King of the Hill was such a delightful show that you're certain nothing else could ever live up to it?

I laughed.

Color me optimistic.

Edit: MTV doesn't show music videos anymore, so Beavis and Butthead comment on the stupid crap MTV does show. That right there is inspired.

I always though Beavis and Butthead where a great deal ahead of their time.

I am still not wrong

No I just am of the opinion that the animation and characters on that show were ugly, and that it was pretty damn boring to boot.

Isn't King of the Hill the show that's set in Texas and some guy with glasses turns out to have been God all along?

This was really the worst idea until they started doing commentary on top of Jersey Shore.

That said, Beavis and Butthead are really a product of the 90s and that's still kind of where I think they belong.

This was hilarious as hell and it's 2011.

The facts are against you!

I knew Butthead would be entirely unaware that you have to reverse the power drill before he proceeded to not do so. I almost busted a gut laughing anyway.

I would have literally murdered somebody if they hadn't still been wearing the Metallica and AC/DC shirts.

Well come on what else COULD they be? An MGMT shirt and a, I dunno, My Chemical Romance Shirt?

This was hilarious as hell and it's 2011.

Aw man all the cornholio stuff? I mean, I guess this is true to the original and maybe that is my problem.

I agree that the Cornholio stuff was pretty lame (except for walking in on the couple naming their baby), but the stuff leading up to it was funny.

Well the cornholio thing was more just an overused joke from within the series they could drop. Didn't necessarily have to do with '90s culture, is what I'm saying. Beavis and Butthead make fun of current cultural trends and so they can easily be adapted to today's crappy shows just as easily as yesterday's crappy music.

As for the shirts they could potentially wear a modern metal band's shirts! Like...Mastodon and...The Sword?
