Illythia has a reckoning...

Wow... Looking at what's going to go down in Roman society during the slave revolts, I'm just brimming with anticipation. I literally can't talk about Spartacus enough and just wish it would come out right now!

Blunt subtitles like "VENGEANCE" are always the best.

Ladies and gentlemen, after an eighteen month battle with cancer Andy Whitfield has died. (http://xfinity.comcast.net/articles/entertainment/20110912/US.Obit.Andy.Whitfield/)

The man gave us a great season of television that I'm sure his fans will never forget.

RIP Andy... (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NKogQf9ooR8)

You gave us some good memories, and this was awesome.

Spartacus: Blood and Sand and Titties and Cocks and Pee and Intestines and Castrations and Spurting Cock Stumps was the best TV series featuring both topless Lucy Lawless and a spurting cock stump I saw on Netflix last year.

Hey now I liked that part in Gods of the Arena where Gannicus utterly demolished that guy's face with a spear and everybody was like "HOLY SHIT!".

Some of my friends work on this and won't shut up about it so I hate you all for making/participating in a topic on it.

Dude. My mom actually threw up at that part.

Was her vomit CGI?

Was her vomit CGI?

Plenty of CGI (chips, guacamole, and ice tea).

Dude. My mom actually threw up at that part.

Don't let her watch Deadliest Warrior since I'm pretty sure the photo-realistic mannequin they half tore the jaw off of to do that scene was probably made by those folks. Unless that was CGI magic instead of one of those really nice Deadliest Warrior mannequins.

That scene was so damn realistic looking that I had to keep rewinding to see if I could spot an imperfection. I don't know how they did that but it's one of the most convincing effects I've ever seen.

Did she ever get to Illythia's murder scene?

Did she ever get to Illythia's murder scene?

That one she took in stride. The one's that got to her were the crucifixion and then the jawbreaker.

I love the relationship between Lucy Lawless and her husband. They're just like, the best, most supportive couple.

If by that you mean a manipulative bitch that would slit your throat while her husband quests for all encompassing power...

Then yeah, clearly they were a match made by the Gods.

In a way, they are pretty much the most realistically stable couple I've seen on TV in a while. Take that as you will.
