I just finished the Trade Paperback of Vol 5.

Team Robo, I wish to confer upon you the highest praise without sounding like a fanboyish sycophant. I don't know how to actually do that though, so I'll just say you create a really great illustrated periodical that makes me smile.

Spoileriffic highlights include:
Tesla flying Iron Man style

That kiss

Robo being a brash youth as opposed to his usual collected self

MORE DR. DINOSAUR! "BEHOLD! AN ORDINARY MOTORIST!"

Questions:

What's with the title "The Wizard of Menlo Park?"

Any chance of seeing more Helen and/or Donovan "Jack Tarot" McAllister at a future point?

Both Robo and Tesla claim that the Odic Force isn't real. (Or at the very least isn't what Edison think it is.) But obviously there is something there that Edison is manipulating. Any chance you could clear things up?

One very minor 'complaint': When Helen introduces herself and is hugging Robo, she has the goofiest look because it seems her eyes are pointing in two separate directions. But really, it's a very minor thing and the only thing I can say that resembles a criticism.

Looking ahead, it seems the next issue is ready to drop in a couple of weeks. Any thoughts/detains you wish to share? Where would you recommend buying the individual issues online? (I use Amazon for the trades.) It looks like www.tfaw.com is a good choice.

Edit: I just noticed what appears to be a Fruit Fucker on the back of the pulp that Telsa snatches from Robo. Nice reference.

It's what they called Edison (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thomas_Edison).

Yes!

It's pretty simple. Tesla and Edison have different opinions about what Odic Force is; what can be done with it; and what the consequences of collecting it would be.

If you're asking which one is right, well, that's left vague for a reason.

Scott and I just did an interview for Nerdy Show where we talked a bit about Volume 6. I'll link to it on the main page when it goes live.

I believe that's what my parents use, and they have no complaints.

I actually picked The Shadow from Beyond Time while at Derby City Comic Con, and I really enjoyed it. Will never look at Carl Sagan the same way again. So I'll probably keep an eye open for this one wherever it may be sold.

So Amazon.ca claims this will be available August 9th (yes as in yesterday), yet it's still only giving me the option to pre-order it. So quick question: Is time travel necessary for Canadians to get this book? Alternatively: Which part of Amazon.ca's customer service should I be complaining to the most?
