I ship Jack x Boxbot
No but I think this excellent comic needs a thread. Some thoughts on the most recent developments, where it appears our Annie turns out to be a disproportionately vengeful character straight out of a woman-hating ancient Greek drama:
She has done worse things (http://www.gunnerkrigg.com/archive_page.php?comicID=803) than a little baiting. And the timing here is interesting. Three pages before this, we see her leaving Jack after a rather amicable conversation. Or so it seems, until she's alone and makes a rather mean face. We now know that we're seeing her resentment about Jack's hurting Renard and putting her in a tough spot. We can imagine she intellectually understands that wasn't his fault; indeed we have earlier seen her express regret that she didn't help him sooner. But the feeling lingers. And then, only a few minutes later, Annie learns a whole new level of pain as a heated argument over her dead mother brings the conflicting feelings about her which have accumulated throughout a long day of hard lessons to cataclysmic levels.
The point being, as superficial as Jack is to all this, taking revenge for his shenanigans may at this point become Annie's goal as it gives her some kind of outlet for her anger, guilt, grief, fear, abandonment etc.
Assuming that there's any truth to that whole revenge scheme she lays out in the current strip, of course.

Tenuously topical, but I found a good old comic, The Books of Magic*, where the writer, a John Ney Rieber, writes in his own introduction a fine observation I always thought fit Gunnerkrigg just as well, except I couldn't remember much of it. To wit,
"Fortunately, London is only peripherally the setting for The Books. [The characters] actually live in a realm that has never been mapped by the Royal Geographic Society and never will be. People who have lost touch with the place call it 'Adolescence.' Those of us who still spend time there never can seem to find the time to tack names onto it. It's a place where anything can happen and probably will - the moment you blink, count on it. A place where nothing is real but the stuff you bang your head on, the stuff that dazzles you, and the stuff that makes your stomach all fluttery. A place where the only thing more mystifying than what's going on around you is what's going on inside you. In other words, a place of magic."
*Go ahead and read it. It's a comic book series of eight or so volumes, a couple of tie-ins, some spin-offs and reboots you're probably better of without, and it's basically a very similar story to Gunnerkrigg Court except it doesn't involve any school.

Finally, this one deserves a thread.
Jack is pretty much the best. Still just enough crazy in him to keep the readers on their toes. Seriously though, I would read a comic with Jack as the main character.

On the other hand, as we see here (http://www.gunnerkrigg.com/archive_page.php?comicID=933), Jack's parents are clearly utahraptors; a type of dinosaur. Of course, as we all know, dinosaurs are simply slightly less evolved birds.
Now, who has the hots for birds?
One Miss Katerina Donlan, due to circumstances in prior years.
Therefore, the only logical conclusion is Jack x Kat.

That's as many as four tens.

As I've said elsewhere, if there were one bad thing about these comics - and there isn't - but if there were, it's that at some poing Gunnerkrigg Court is going to stop being Tom Siddell's reimagining of Fast and the Furious starring his original characters and a horse with a spoiler on his back.

Holy balls, Jack is a nice guy. That's deep sympathy, maybe even anguish, over his inability to do or be what Annie wants.
Zimmy is going to chew him up I think.

Man, Annie.
This REALLY did not work out the way you wanted it to.
Hahahaha, this is great.
EDIT: This is actually a really good demonstration of how not having things go the way your character wants can actually make them more interesting.
I'm probably gonna hear several dozen "I didn't read it that way"s but this page totally feels like a subtle hint that Kat does indeed like girls, and thus my ship sails onward.

Yeah, I have a feeling it reads more along the lines of Kat just feeling bad for Paz, but considering how much shipping they've received already, it does seem like Tom could've avoided fueling that interpretation if he'd wanted. So...

She certainly seems to be thinking about it at the least.
Not entirely sure why she'd think it in Paz's direction though... has she even really talked to Paz before tonight?

They had a whole chapter together (healing a baby pigeon, who turned out to be SHOCK Cityface as Nin said) with hints that they've been chilling outside of that as well.
