Time for me to flex the only real talent I have when it comes to this whole GMing thing...kickass pictures!

Persona! ...Ergh, I mean Pokemon. Pokemon is what I meant!
http://i1038.photobucket.com/albums/a469/PokemonUmbral/Poke215.jpg
This reminds me of that time at Renny's house where you idiots suggested combining the Metagross and other Pokemon into one giant composite robo-Pokemon. Now look what'cha done did.

Don't make her moe. You won't like her when she's moe.
Status update is I'm working on it now. Trying hard to get it done this weekend. In fact, I have to get it done this weekend.
As you can probably remember, I'm separating out of the Navy. Finally! Good riddance, too. And I fully intend to be off this damn island early next week. I don't think I've have connectivity during the process so it may be about ten days before I can be on again.
...So you probably won't notice the difference, ha ha!
Not suicidal over Gem. More like disturbed. It's so quiet here now. But since Impact has made such a foothold in the RP as is, I'm going to control him from now on, since having him killed off or asking you to ignore his presense (you probably do that anyways, but still) would be stupid in my opinion.
Anyways, plan is to have this post done this weekend since I don't have anything else to do (I could go to City of Heroes, but Menarker's there now so I'm screwed), then spend those ten days off working on Haremon or something.
Oh, and uhh...fourth picture because I LOL'd so hard at it myself...
http://i1038.photobucket.com/albums/a469/PokemonUmbral/4chanpoke.jpg
By the way, this one was submitted by Menarker. This suggests that at some point he went to 4chan. Now I can rest easy knowing that I am not the cause (at least not the sole cause) of his downward fall into depravity.
Dracorion
11-11-2011, 07:59 PM
Menarker's depravity is his own goddamn fault.
With regards to the Metagross picture, heh. Guess what I'm going to get with one of my Xth-level upgrades, probably?
Menarker
11-12-2011, 04:04 AM
Actually, someone else posted that picture on NPF's funny picture thread ages ago. I pretty much never go to 4chan.
Still, I did find it funny.
And did anyone notice that one of those Metagross in that pic above has a Bidoof face?
Geminex
11-12-2011, 11:47 AM
Not suicidal over Gem.
I wouldn't blame you.
Aldurin
11-12-2011, 02:10 PM
That second pic would make an awesome RDPA.

ALSO the e-mail adress I have for dante is no longer valid.
But Dante's active on steam, and part of the NPFU usergroup (goes by Dantefalcon). I'd contact him, but I'm on a shitty netbook that's not letting me install steam.
Drac has a steam account, though, so all you really need is for him to shift his lazy ass.
Dracorion
11-14-2011, 06:50 AM
More like reinstall Steam.
Aldurin
11-15-2011, 12:50 AM
I've got DF friended on steam now, what do you want him to know (besides the usual "GET YOUR ASS BACK OVER HERE"?)
Menarker
11-15-2011, 01:14 AM
Well, we probably don't really NEED him here right at this point (although his contribution is always welcome). Just wanted to keep a heads up to make sure he is ok and that we're still more or less active.
Dracorion
11-15-2011, 06:46 AM
So just check if he's alive.
Geminex

Tell him that the big cheese wants his money, or he can kiss his kneecaps goodbye.
Aldurin
11-15-2011, 12:31 PM
So just check if he's alive.
He is popping on and offline, and he did accept my friend request so I would assume that he or his identity thief is still alive.
I'll chat with him later if I stop playing Skyrim for long enough.

Lathiron post will be finished tonight. Just putting the finishing touches on it (AKA correcting my own foolish blunders).
And Menarker? As far as City of Heroes goes, I got that doggie. It is kawaii desu ne :3 :3 :3.
No emotes for the bastard, though.
EDIT: Lathiron side is complete. I'll go ahead and point out that there's a problem in that I haven't provided additional enemy intel. What I'm doing to fix this is using this weekend to fill out all enemy data on both sides and submitting it as necessary like I should've done in the past but was just too dumb.
Anyways, if there's any other problems, lemme know and I'll try to fix it immediately. Busy day today.

Ok good news. I'm alive and my identify thief has been dealt with. Or rather I'm in the process of dealing with him. My cthulhian horrors will not go hungry for another day or so.
Bad news being that Accelerated classes kick my ass. I'll do my best to hop on and post though I have another couple weeks before the hard part of this class ends.

Just as long as you're alright, man.
Update to my status: separating out of the Navy within a couple of days. Long, drawn out process will ensue. Internet connectivity for any length of time should not be expected though I suppose it's possible.
Full enemy data for nearly all enemies to be finished and posted tomorrow morning. After that, I have to shut down my Internet service and prepare to head on home where my dumb ass belongs.
I intend to use the time I won't be able to come here to work on the other niggling little projects I got on the side but usually never touch (Haremon, possibly the Honmyr map, the Occupation status effect that'll cripple Snipers and Destroyers, etc.) and, if Internet is available and I do see battle posts from you, I'll make time to work on and even complete those, 'cause with all my games packed up and shipped out, I really have nothing else to do. Estimated time for all this crap to occur from start to finish is probably around fifteen days, though hopefully it'll be less than ten.
It's the Navy, unfortunately, so I wouldn't hold my breath. Efficiency isn't their strong point when it comes to administration. Then again, that's something all big businesses tend to share, I hear.
I'll also jump on the public umbralpad tomorrow morning...think ten hours from this post's timestamp, in case y'all got any last questions before I go into this temporary dormancy.
- Update!: Enemy information has been added to the end of the individual action phases. One the Krunder side, you have the Delstus and Delstaurus, although the Delstaurus' Ability shall remain unidentifiable until I've inflicted some suffering on you with it.
On the Lathiron side, the Skuldrur and Aqkauw have been mapped out entirely. Finding a way to break the Aqkuaw's heavy shell is something you'll have to figure out on your own, though since the only Aqkuaw deployed has so few HP and will probably die next round from the bad poison alone, not a serious issue at this point.
- Update Once Again!: Looks like there's some Wi-Fi here to use. It's not powerful enough for me to utilize the edupads or anything like that, but it should be enough for me to keep up with the RP 'n' such. I don't expect to be here at this temporary base for as long as predicted, either.

Quick question AB.
Twiloch's buff and debuff moves don't have a duration listed. How long should they be? I figured around 2 or 3 turns.
Anyhow, I'm proceeding slowly but surely with the planning/writing.
DanteFalcon
11-23-2011, 02:23 PM
For the upcoming turn in the water battle I'd either advise
A) Using the ships cannons if possible.
B) Sunny Day. Could heavily reduce incoming damage from water and while it'll injure our ability to do electric, Solarbeam will become a viable option
C) Both.
Dracorion
11-23-2011, 04:45 PM
Too close for cannons, and I already asked about Sunny Day. Wouldn't do anything.
The AB-approved plan is bumping Lathiron with the ship.

Damn and here I actually had the time to read.
Menarker

Something to bring up. Krunder's arms aren't showing up in the enemy formation. Are they actual targets which you forgot to include? (I assumed so since you listed the arms in the speed list as unknown with the rest of the other body parts that isn't its eye.) Also, are they Large Sized like the feet? (I'm kinda guessing so since the description of the claws being larger than a RDPA kinda stands out.)
Astral Harmony
11-27-2011, 02:33 AM
The hands, chest, and eye are targetable, but only by either long range attacks or by all attacks from any units that can fly (which they all can now). The eye is the only piece not L-Type, but none of them are in any specific formation.
In other words, think of it like a bunch of tiny formations in the sky. You won't be able to hit different formations with the same attack, so don't try it.
Just note for the future that you can change the formations around by inflicting additional Strategem Shifts, which are possible in the Krunder Battle. Just do what you did before.
Menarker
11-27-2011, 02:36 AM
That's good to know.
But there was one other question I asked above.
Twiloch's buff and debuff moves don't have a duration listed. How long should they be? Or do they last for as long as the target is present and alive?
Astral Harmony
11-29-2011, 10:02 PM
I'm pretty certain I listed all of those as being 3 turns.
Menarker
11-30-2011, 02:02 AM
I don't see that listed for any but one of the moves. But that's not a problem. I'll fit it in.
Also, Writing up post right now. About time too. There hasn't been a new post since Halloween.
EDIT: Post made. Assuming a few things when I wrote it (nothing critical that can't be easily edited). Of course, if AB does the math and it doesn't work out, I'll amend it.
AB, if you have any confusion or want me to clarify something, let me know.
Also edited some things that you forgotten or omitted incorrectly (most of it was to my disadvantage like forgetting to include previous damage which I put back in.)
And yes, Muon is using Milk of Plenty on all the pokemon except for Leavanny who is not considered "in formation".
Aldurin
11-30-2011, 12:44 PM
Oh nice, the post is up. Only mistake I noticed is that you didn't include Shadow Synch's accuracy and evasion modifications, or maybe I'm just reading it wrong.
I'll try to write up Donovan's side of the battle soon.
Menarker
11-30-2011, 01:06 PM
Destroyer's are 100% accurate as far as I know, especially considering that they can't be buffed or even targetted in the first place.
Aldurin
11-30-2011, 01:11 PM
I meant for shadow synch's effects.
8. Shadow Sync ~ 300 RP, Friend, AllStat +5, 100% Hit, 100% EvadeDoes that increase accuracy and evasion by 100%, locks the chances of both at 100% or is it for helping counteract any evasion or accuracy debuffs?
EDIT: Threw up Donovan's post. The conversation should be able to chronologically catch up if the response is in it's own post.
Menarker
11-30-2011, 04:33 PM
Ah, Thank you for catching that. ^^:
Edited it.
Also, good question. I assume it would lock it in at 100% but I included both calculations in case AB feels it is the latter. But I think it'll be the former. Mainly because it is much easier to use and almost as practical.
Astral Harmony
11-30-2011, 05:29 PM
The move's effects (not the character, the effects of the move) are non-debuffable, so the accuracy and evasion won't drop below 100%, even if the unit has piss poor accuracy and evasion due to previous debuffs.
Basically, it's a temporary overwrite. If that unit has shitty Acc/Eva before the move, it's gone now. When the move is over, the Acc/Eva clusterfuck is back.
One thing you should note that while Acc on a Destroyer is usually 100%, Fog of War for that Destroyer's opponents reduces the damage (70% damage dealt in at least 50% FoG, 40% damage dealt in a full 100% FoG). Shadow Sync does indeed temporarily nullify that damage degradation.
You're probably wondering why it would be worth it to have Twiloch use it on himself, but it's not impossible or even improbable to think that one day, you'll be going to town on enemies using a formation that has multiple Destroyers. Though I'd predict that'd only happen during the biggest, most epic of battles ever.
Oh, and Bard, Menarker told me you had some chatter with Geminex about some ideas for your sidequest. Menarker said you'd send 'em in a PM, so I'll check in regularly (or at least a few times each day) to examine your ideas.

Since I can't PM the following to Drac due to size limitation, I'll posting it here so he can extract it by quoting and thus post edit it and post it as he is able to. Same as last time really.
Hope this is ok Drac.

My internet situation isn't too great, but it's not bad enough for me to stop doing Pokemon Umbral. Basically, I'll just use the internet connection to allow me to see the posts and load the calculator and diceroller, but will otherwise be out of contact for the most part.

So, AB, everything going ok on your end? Or are there any issues or confusion?
I know it's a bit of a busy time for everyone, with exams and school and whatnot, but I'm just curious how things are progressing since things have slowed down a lot lately. Just trying to gently bump things a little.
Astral Harmony
12-10-2011, 02:30 PM
Fuck your bumping. I hate your bumping. You're making me carsick.
Still gotta lot to do on my end, really. Job searching and whatnot. Should have a post done for both sides over this fine weekend of ours.
Just relax, Menarker. The RP isn't over just because there's nobody on the edupad.
EDIT: Post is coming along nicely. Will have it done during this weekend. To be honest, there was also a Christmas event in City of Heroes where you could gather candy canes and use them to acquire costume pieces like burning halos and whatnot, only to discover that a new item for purchase in the Paragon Market will give me all that stuff account wide anyways. I hate myself more than you do, now.

Err... AB, I don't suppose you have either side done now?
I'd still be interested in reading one half of it while you're proceeding to finish the other half. At least that way, we can also make plans or what not. Pretty sure the rest of us would be interested too.

I'll post the Krunder side when I'm finished with it, sure. To be honest, the reason it's taken this long is because it's really a lotta work to do, I'm a lazy piece of shit, and I'm honestly really starting to hate Pokemon Umbral battles regardless of the ideas I have for spicing them up.
But I'm forcing myself along and Krunder side will hopefully be done in the next few days since I don't have all my stuff and I'm bored to shit regardless and I beat all three Uncharted games. Just don't ask me about a Honmyr map or Haremon or anything not directly related to the posts or I will castrate you with a rocket launcher (I'll leave it up to you whether I do it with a rocket or the launcher). It's all I can do to not say fuck it and abandon PU to alter the battle system for this other idea I've got called Slaughter Prime.
But you're my buds and I wouldn't dream of stopping PU until you wacky, wonderful fuckers are satisfied with it (I'm sure you're not satisfied at all but oh well) so I'm gonna keep trudging along.
And I know I've made promises before and broken them but...well, I'll hopefully have it done this week. Once Krunder is done and it's coming along nicely, I'll find the drive within me to do the smaller and easier Lathiron side.
*sniff*
Is that a steaming hot bowl of stupid with which I may partake? Delighted.

That seems... bad. Like, I knew that you weren't enjoying umbral that much, but if it's really that bad, I don't think you should just ignore it and soldier on. It's really great of you to stick with it for the players' sake, but man. Forcing yourself to do something you really don't enjoy isn't just shitty for you, it's shitty for the rest of the players too. Just look at the waiting times.
And hell, it's not like this is something you can just get over with. At our current rate, umbral alone will probably take another 5-8 years, not to mention the prospective sequel. Which is great if everyone enjoys it, but're you gonna put off your other projects for 5 years?
I'm not saying you should quit! I mean, there's things about umbral you do enjoy. The current, super-complex battle system just does not happen to be one of them. But there's gotta be a way of changing things. If we determine that there isn't, that's when I'd suggest that you just end the RP. At that point, I doubt anyone would expect you to continue doing something you really don't enjoy, even if they really enjoyed it. I mean, I might, but only cause your suffering is delicious to me. But I'm not a player anymore. Which you should probably keep in mind while reading this post, tbh!
But anyway, battles. The current battle system's really nice and complex, but it sounds like that's just your problem. So why not freestyle them up a bit more? It'd replace battle plans and calculation with the effort of writing. The battle system's been hit with so many drastic changes that I'm pretty sure it could survive one more. It's like frankenstein's monster at this point, only less handsome.
And there'd still be room for tactics and stuff. Only instead of precise who-attacks-whom it'd be stuff like maneuver and using the environment to your advantage. It'd still be fun, I'm sure. For players and DMs. And with the time you save by cutting down on battles, you could do a little more non-battle-related stuff, which is honestly what I enjoyed most, way back when.
Anyway, just my two cents! I'll hang around and offer suggestions, but this is is yours to work through, people. Good luck!

Simply put. Don't do this for us. Do what -you- want. I run tabletop games and a DM that isn't enjoying himself is rarely one that sticks around to the end. If a change is in order then make that change. We can handle it.

The spirit of the RP is pedantic dicussions, interrupted by occasional battle planning and tits. Why would you want to maintain that?

Gem: Change shit until you like it! Alternately, burn the whole RP down!
Bard: Change shit until you like it!
Mern: Change shit until you like it!
Dante: Change shit until you like it!
Drac: Change shit until you like it!
Earl: You have my permission to change shit until you like it, unless said changes should infringe upon the vaguely-defined essence of the game.
I'd like to applaud earl for his generosity.
Anyway, seems to be pretty unanimous! We all agree that AB's enjoyment is totally important, and that the him hating battles is not a good idea! In other words, the players aren't entirely horrible. I shouldn't be surprised, but I am.
Regardless, maybe we can make this fun for everyone after all. Question is, how? Pure freestyle? Do we try to come up with a much simpler system, maybe something d-20 based? What'd work best? It might be good to hear from everyone on this, including AB. And me. No longer a player and all, but, as much as it would sate my ego to see the RP collapse in the course of the mission during which I leave for good, I wanna see this end well. So let's hear some ideas.

Let's not throw it out for what passes as a battle system in Trollslum. My thoughts on it mainly revolve around a smaller standard battle formation, and looking through the mechanics to find anything that can be thrown out or merged to streamline the post-making.

Finishing up now. My older brother who I'm staying with now didn't wanna pay for the Internet (which makes sense to me since all he uses it for is surfing bitches on Facebook, although I guess to him that's actually important and worthwhile) but wouldn't get off his ass to get it working again even though I offered to pay for it despite the late charges. So I didn't have Internet access since last Wednesday.

Okay, post done, and yes, I know, post terrible. Had some trouble since I ended up directing a number of Krunder's attacks (well, pretty much all to them) to units who were only participating due to Impact's CCC. Not anyone's fault, I just need to concentrate more.
Most likely a handful of problems which I'm sure Menarker's sniper perfect eyes will no doubt discover, so let me know how badly I fucked up and I'll get on it once I'm in the middle of reading doujins or whatever.

- Krunder's Chest: Uses Ribberang. Silk takes 192 damage. Hiroshiho Rei (Sakuya) takes 129 damage (1141).
Krunder's assault begin with him simply reaching for his chest and plucking off one of his massive ribs like somebody disassembling a Lego set. Then he hurled it great force. The monstrous makeshift weapon slammed right into Swampert and continued on without even changing direction and arced effortlessly in the air despite the heavy rains to collided head on with the backside of Sakuya's Hiroshiho Rei, causing the giant mecha to lurch forward and nearly topple over completely.
AB, was it Swampert or Silk or got hit by the attack?
Also I had written in my post that Mio and Silk were both spending 60 rage for 3 turns of paradigm shift, not 1 turn for 20 rage. It's why I had the rage rockets given to them so they could afford the full cost.
Also, Silk and Mio's stats is supposed to be multiplied by 4.5x not 5x. 2.5x for the +3 from Sakuya's armor and 2x for the Paradigm Shift.) I realize I'm complaining that you made them stronger, but just letting you know.
On the other hand, Whitney's Special Attack multiplier is supposed to be 4x not 3 times before paradigm shift, since she got +6 to her Special Attack.
Meant for Shannon's Moonlight Disco attack to be shared with Moon, especially since she only has 70 rage at the start of the turn and thus wouldn't be able to use it otherwise. (Unless I was just psychic enough to guess she would be attacked.) Hence 40 rage loss for both instead of Shannon losing 80. (I figured Shannon and Moon would do a bit of a dance together or something nice like that. ^^ )
Several characters have not been given rage for their attacks when they should have. Deoxys, Latias, Kyogre, Jeanette, Vaporeon, Jellicent, Lapras. Unless you're assuming that CC&C characters don't get rage for attacking? (In which case, Deoxys still need his).
Also, Alphonsine should not have gotten rage from her attacks because her attacks are divided. Hence she actually spent 50 rage this turn.
I was looking for Lola's rage total and I found noticed that several battle posts ago, you deducted 50 rage from her despite the fact that the rules state that the first use of Sync Techs are free. She should still have 50 rage, assuming she didn't gain any in any of the turns.
Donovan's stats are slightly incorrect. Thanks to Shadow Sync and Speed boost, his speed is +6. But all of his other stats are at +5 (4x multiplier). I don't recall him getting an extra attack boost. (Although he got a crit and accuracy boost from Shark Hunt).
Also one more thing, which I admit is my fault. The "Sky Drop" moves which I had Articuno and Zapdos do this turn only does damage on the second turn. (Upon dropping them on the ground or something like that). Not that double digits damage means very much when the average attacks are triple digits and the great ones are quad-digits.

I'll make sure to get on that big ass laundry list, but I'll go ahead and point out something...wait, lemme check my own notes to make sure I know what I'm about to talk about...right, here it is.
- At least 60 Rage is required in order to Paradigm Shift even if the Pokebrid spends less than 60.
- A Pokebrid can enter Paradigm Shift at the cost of 20 Rage per turn.
I need to proofread some of this shit.
But I digress. Put simply, just because you're having the Pokebrid Paradigm Shift at 60 Rage, doesn't mean you need to force that Pokebrid to remain in Paradigm Shift until his/her Rage bleeds out. If you want to, you can have him/her drop Paradigm Shift during the Order Phase and end up spending only the 20 Rage per turn cost. Or keep them in Paradigm Shift as you please.
Lathiron post done tomorrow or Sunday. Sorry, trying to come up with some extra statistics and shit for a new Ruin Pokemon. In Devil Survivor Overclocked, I'm dealing with these asshole demons named Decarabia and decided to come up with my own asshole version of them.
Here's a hint as to the kind of assholes these fuckers are: they have a skill called Shield All which places a barrier on all units in the team which blocks the first attack incoming to them. It prolongs the battle for me more than it helps them fight me, but it's still fucking irritating. They also have Agidyne, the most powerful basic fire elemental skill in these Shin Megami Tensei games, which helps in deciding what element these new Ruin types will have.

So... if I get what you're saying correctly, Paradigm Shifts costs don't all have to be paid all up front, but ending the chain of payments triggers the 2 turn cooldown time for ending Paradigm Shift?
Not shooting you down or anything, but I was under a different impression. Figured it might be a bit too much flexiblity for the class, which already has an awesome mix of diversity and burst of power.

Still, it'd be kinda shitty if the strategy shifts around and you need them to do something else that doesn't necessarily require the boosts that Paradigm Shift offers.
Rage is precious, especially since Medics don't spam Rage Rockets anymore (although there may be times I'll nullify that restriction, specially when combat really demands your absolute best performance ever, like perhaps Mission 6...or is it 5? I don't recall if the visit to the Hungry World where the Kimonos live is Impact's sidequest or if his is the epilogue anymore) and I'd really like to keep you out of situations where you'd be forced to spend Rage when you feel it would just be wasted.
Because I'm a nice person who loves his daily breakfast of Stupid-Os. They're retardedly delicious!

Ah, I see.
Another quick question. The guide states that a pokebrid's sync tech usage can be recharged at the cost of 50 rage. Can the tech be used on the same turn as it is recharged, or is there a delay from the turn which the recharge is done to the next turn when it would be ready to use?

But overall, you're not missing much.

Coming up with battle plan.
Silk only has 55 rage, not 65. Mio at 65 because she got that Wind of Gaea bonus.
I have to admit, I'm pretty damn surprised at the rarity of critical hits we've been getting despite having a device that gives everyone in formation minimal 31% crit chance. *Shrug* Guess we're just unlucky in that regards.
One last question I can't believe never came up. During a Paradigm Shift, can those with multiple forms change forms? Or are they stuck in the form they were presently at the time of the shift? I merely assumed it was the latter myself since it takes effort/energy to maintain the shift and shifting forms might break that.
A current relevant example would be if I wanted to change Mio while she's in Paradigm Shift from Narcham to Raikner form at this point of the battle.

I dunno why someone would use Transform during a Paradigm Shift. They could do it like normal and not waste the 20 Rage.
Besides, Ditto Pokebrids can't achieve a complete transformation into the target. Have that form? Yes. Paradigm Shift? Yeah. But no SyncTechs. Science is still not that far yet.

I would've been all over a ditto pokebrid if science was that far. Adaptability and utility is what I do.

Well, this turn my team is using Ditto during combat. (Copying an ally though)
Hopefully it'll work out. ^^

Lathiron post / Krunder corrections're scheduled for completion by tomorrow evening. Sorry for the delays. I blame Amnesia. I think it's the atmosphere of the game because, due to my love of the survival horror genre, this game just isn't scary at all.

How? Wha-? Amnesia is scary as fuck, don't lie to me like that!
Astral Harmony
01-14-2012, 12:12 PM
I'm sure it is to some people. But I've been sunk into scary games since the first Resident Evil. I've played Silent Hill, Fatal Frame, Cold Fear, Extermination, The Suffering, Ravenholm in Half-Life 2, Juon, Condemned, Eternal Darkness, Dead Space, and countless zombie titles both scary and funny. And that's just all I can remember off the top of my head.
Amnesia? Hell, I was Riddick up in that bitch. "The dark...my favorite." Of course, it did get me killed several times when I accidentally bumped into enemies and fell over because of the crippling sanity loss. Young and strong, my ass. "I see a monster. Think I'm just gonna lay here and let it kill me in a single attack."
For shame, Daniel. For shame.
Update: Moved into a different house where I'm gonna end up spending the majority of my time. Problem is there's no In'ernet there so that's why the post was delayed. I'm finishing it up now and will have it up tonight for y'all. Hopefully, maybe Menarker can put up his own post so I can save it to my computer and work on it without the connectivity.

I'll try to get the post done today or tomorrow. Been busy with classes and all that. >_<
EDIT: Post done. ^^
EDIT: AB, I also noted that Renny is supposed to have 60 rage, since Swampert's attack put him at 60, yet Renny is stated to only have 55 at the end phase.

Really, you're only fitting in now.

Got the net for the night and if I don't post it soon, I dunno when I can so I'm gonna fuckin' do it tonight.
And Irene's not crazy. She's just set. There's only one path that leads to success and goddammit, she's gonna do whatever it takes to secure that path.
Though Gem does have a point. That path is paved in corpses, chaos and...okay, maybe she is pretty crazy.
Dracorian, here's hoping Pierce doesn't get tired of Irene. He may be the only thing keeping her going in the end.
Anyways, finishing the post now.

Good ol' perverted Geminex, always trying to get at my genitalia.
Lathiron post done, hopefully in better condition than the Krunder one.
Krunder post should be fixed except for the Zapdos/Articuno damage which I'm gonna ignore the next turn.
And speaking of the next turn, I see it's already posted so I'm going to work on it over the period of internet outage.

This further enforces my theory that the Lathiron battle is much harder than the Krunder battle.
Partially because fuck water types if you're not rolling in electric and grass moves.

So that's how Navy people talk?
Also, shouldn't Musharna be not Ejected from having been released? It's still listed as ejected in the order phase.
Dracorian, here's hoping Pierce doesn't get tired of Irene. He may be the only thing keeping her going in the end.
Hey man, with so many high maintenance bitches all over him, Pierce might just need to drop one or two.
Y'know, after they've been thoroughly used.

Heh, I agree that the Lathiron battle looks harder, although not for the same reason.
Having to kill a boss that has 6 bodies, each with sturdy constitution combined with regenerating shields, summon minions is bound to be an incredibly tedious process.
However, the weakness part is slightly incorrect. Ruin types have other weaknesses like Psychic and Dragon. What's making the weakness part more ANNOYING is that Grass types you mentioned are risky because ruin type moves are super effective against it. And Electric moves are risky because of the potential backlash where the field has tons of rainfall and tons of water, both natural and attack based. Thus making two of the viable weaknesses risky to pull off.
Still a very interesting post.

I thought I deleted the ejected part? I'll make sure to do that shortly.
And the Lathiron battle could've turned out worse. I could've had Lathiron's regeneration kick in and it would've recovered 2500 HP before I counted the damage from that seeding during the Upkeep Phase, but I didn't wanna be a dick about it and go "ooo, so close and yet so far away" so, y'know, one down, five to go.
Internet to be installed at my new place of temporary residence in a few days, giving me no excuses to procrastinate from these posts. Working hard on the Krunder post in the meantime.

Will Hyacinth appear by crashing through a wall wave Kool-Aid Man style? Well actually that wouldn't work since she's starting in Gardevoir form.

Bard, I have included a cliff's note version of the rules for you, that only includes the crucial details that you would need/want to know as a trainer. The file is half the size as normal, so it should be much easier to grasp.
And of course, you're always welcome to ask us for any specific details you need explained.
Hopefully we'll be able to see more of you and Charlotte in Umbral again.

Had about a week of internet connectivity issues and my computer restarted itself to install important updates that never affect my computer in any way whatsoever *helpless shrug* so the webpage was taken down and I didn't have access to the information.
Basically, Krunder post done this weekend. Lathiron post hopefully done in the following few days.
That is all. Thou hast heard mine divine commandments. Thou shalt now fall to thine hands and knees in loving and eternal reverence.

AB, just as a heads up, Relm has been wanting to talk to you about how she's going to make her appearance and all that. A PM her way would probably be well received. :3

[whiny bitch mode]Aww, man, can't y'all figure that one out? I wouldn't mind if you guys just pretended she was there the whole time.[/whiny bitch mode]
Anyways, I'll hit her up sometime today.
EDIT: Sorry about not getting the post done on the weekend. I actually had another idea for streamlining the battles and decided to implement it immediately, so I'm transferring some data.

Everything ok over there AB?
You said that your posts was almost done a few days ago.
Most of us are getting kinda anxious since it has been over a month since the last post.
Drac, would also be neat if you could post your side's battle post, especially since it has been pretty much ready for quite some time now.

Heh.
Anyhow, questions!
1: Sakuya has been in the RDPA for 3 turns. I assume that means the RDPA has expired?
2: Does Edelweiss have any listed stats? Also, is she buffable or does she count as a destroyer for all intent and purposes? Or is she completely out of any control, only to hope that she fires where I point her to fire?
These are the only one I came up with at the moment, although more might follow. ^^;

1. Yes, sure. Thank you.
2. Edelweiss is mine! Don't you dare do anything to her.
