Like, I know next to nothing about Sailor Moon. I vaguely remember hearing about it once or seeing a commercial on Cartoon Network like 8 years ago or something (those were the days . . .). Sounds like it's probably a "meh" anime that's only good for comedic references (http://www.halolz.com/2011/05/10/soldier-moon/) these days.

Just have Eddie Murphy be everyone in the movie.

Tuxedo Mask episode guide (http://tuxedomaskepisodeguide.tumblr.com/) is of course a must for anyone to study in order to play the Mask. For which I propose Neil Patrick Harris, because the NPH can do anything. Not that Shia wouldn't give the movie the right "Sweet Allah, why won't it ever end?" feeling.

Cloë "Hit Girl" Moretz should be Sailor Moon, to raise the horror factor and also the excellent acting ratio.

I do not remember much about sailor moon, except for "please end soon, i wanna watch dragon ball z", and that sailor moon had a duaghter that summoned her pegusus at the end of each episode.
