Back in 2009, a guy went on the internet and asked people to recreate 15 second sections of Star Wars: A New Hope.
And now he's put it all together. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7ezeYJUz-84)
Results range from endearingly awful (i.e. anything involving kids/nerds in costumes) to completely awful (i.e. anything in which sounds from the movie play over blocky cg) to thoroughly awesome.

I think one of my favorites was the Monkey Island-looking bit for Han shooting Greedo.
EDIT: It's right around 50 mins in.

Unfortunately, this video is not available in Germany because it may contain music for which GEMA has not granted the respective music rights.
Why must I live under an oppressive Nazi regime again?

Thank GEMA.
Meanwhile, use a proxy.

Did anybody else spot David Morgan-Marr (http://www.irregularwebcomic.net) as Han Solo at 1:17:44 i.e. the scene where Leia says "Into the garbage chute, flyboy!"?
