Hi, I'm a smug, sneering liberal who is bent on wickedly forcing you all to comply with my twisted worldview. I am going to destroy the very fabric of your respective country and/or world because of my unpopular political views.

I saw an anti-planned parenthood ad. Typical reaction: have it blocked. shiney's reaction: we don't have ads anymore.

Next step: design something that should go in the now very empty space on top of the forum. This is an open contest and will become the banner for the top of the forums.

In the future if I do choose to reinstate ad space we will sell ad space to forum members instead of using google and the ad will remain up until another one is purchased, with something like a 30 day minimum or whatever. I'm still figuring it out because it's not something I've thought about much until now.

Until then though, banner is needed (or banners are needed). Please do not submit lolbutts.

Hell yes. Obviously I don't know how to code, but just using basic logic I say it shouldn't be too hard to pull off. I mean, you're able to have a different icon for rep gems after the fifth or sixth, I don't know. So you should be able to have the first one always be the balls, and the following ones always be mid-shaft pieces while the currently last one always is the end-piece. I'll learn html or whatever I have to use to code this and do it myself if you fuckers don't do it.

E: I vote for all these banners, they are terrible in a good way. I'm sure you can just do a little banner rotation, like with the current ones.

This is a thing I want to happen (though I may be safe to assume others do as well?).
I have currently worked on (though it's not live so you won't see anything yet) something to rotate ads across the top much akin to the forum logo. However I want to also include URL anchors to link to specific threads or member(s)'s project pages. Once the [admittedly simplistic] backend is up, I'll re-open a thread for submissions.

Some of the ones in this thread are funny, and I for one am not opposed to joke banners -- not every banner will necessarilly link to anything, anyway, which is fine -- in the rotation, but I may institute a certain biased judgment of quality.
