Absofuckinlutely. (https://plus.google.com/u/0/111626127367496192147/posts)
I was never really big on the whole tech-taking-over-every-aspect-of-our-lives thing... til now. Google's Project Glass looks freakin' amazing, and I'm really hoping to see this become a reality.
Anyone have any thoughts? Perhaps ideas for uses?

I'll wait for the iShades for its poorly designed software and iconic incompatibility with flash.

THE FUTURE!
Sure, i don't think they will be able to do all of this, but this "Live HUD" type of thing is simply awesome. I would love to see technology pushed in this direction!
This seems uncomfortable for people who already wear glasses.

It would be kinda like wearing those Movie 3D glasses over your regular glasses.
Maybe it could be like a Clip-on thing... or just a Prescribed lens version.
Although i don't know how that could effect focus of the image.
Also, everybody looking at your face would see your HUD mirrored, since it's clear glass.
Still... FUTURE! Me wants!

Oh man, I'd love to see them come up with a contact-lens type... I realize that's even FURTHER down the road, if ever, but seriouslly. I'd be all over that.
While we're at it, I could use a datajack, once they perfect that. Damn, I wouldn't mind getting a few chipped skills as well....

That's their actual concept photo, seems like you could add prescription lenses underneath it

I still want one, though!
Since I'm apparently slaving myself out to Google instead of Apple I think I'd like one of these. I just hope it's more user friendly than my Galaxy Prevail.

As someone who wears glasses I could go for this. Bought time they do something other than sit on my face. Face assholes.

The current hardware design is incapable of providing the experience in the video.
It's too small to fill field of vision.
End result will either be a much smaller area of vision with data over it or will be a pair of wrap around glasses.

So in the future everyone will look like either Bono or Laforge?

Only a matter of time, my friend. ( http://blog.simplyled.co.uk/2012/01/first-smartphones-now-smart-led-contact-lenses/)
