No, this is not a thread about seeing TV shows on the web. This is about internet shows you watch on schedule!

So, being a nerd a geek etc i tend to slide closer to the funny/gamer oriented shows that are around. So i get my share of Movie Bob, Zero Punctuation, The Big Picture... Escapist shows in general.

But spreading a bit more to other shows i ended up getting around Angry Joe, which most of the time is very nice

And i also get a look here and there with Jeremy Jahns

And, of course, Angry VideoGame nerd (although he seems to be on Hiatus because of his movie works)

So, every day out of the week i have a couple of shows to keep track of the stuff i like or just to pull out some LoL on a slow day.

And how about you guys? Anybody here follows any other online shows?

How are those different from watching tv on a computer other than they are not on tv?

i guess you could say it's "Indie TV" with it's streamlined production cycle, a lot more freedom on content, feedback, direction, production...

Most of these shows that are web-only... i can't recall a proper analog to them on TV, at least not something that is anything more than "kinda like it".

So, maybe you could also say that it's just because these guys curse... a lot. And, yeah, that point can be made... but even cutting that out i don't hear the thick layered PR crap that covers the talking point on TV shows, or even the similar products on Big websites like IGN or Gamespot.

Threadjack.

This thread is now about how Hulu wants to tie Hulu Plus subscriptions to satellite and cable subscriptions in the future because they want to go backwards into the fucking stone age that existed pre-cord cutting.

Begin the angry rhetoric!

Turner Broadcasting did this waaaaaaay before them. Viewing any full episodes on, say, Adult Swim.com requires a cable subscription.

Of course, not just any one subscription. It has to be of a specific few. Not Bright House Networks, that's for damn sure.

I'm surprised no one has found the geek sundry yet...

Or Video Game High School.

Wait, what was TV again?
