Also, new rules are: Everyone is playing, and just post and make a move, whenever you want. You can't make a move in response to your own move. You get the point value of the piece when you take a piece, you lose half the point value of the piece when someone takes a piece as a move in response to yours.

You can play both sides of the board, as long as you do not immediately respond to your own move.

Whoever has the highest score when a king gets checkmated wins.

Edit: Also, each move you make nets you one half point, so that people are incentivized to move.

As I said, it took someone else to actually make it good and I'm pretty sure you could have done that from the start if you spent more than a minute writing your OPs.
