So in spectacular defiance of all economics, logic and sense, David Saveloy Cameron has decided his cabinet was not right wing enough- so he mixed it up.
Let's see what came out:

http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/ruthless-david-cameron-shuffles-to-the-right-8105058.html

So in environment we have:
A climate change sceptic, anti-windfarmer

Jeremy "Being investigated for corruption, selling out media rights to newcorp, lying to parliament, wants to scalpel the NHS" Hunt in charge of health

Also- we changed the chair because http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/the-tories-grassroots-will-be-a-lot-happier-with-shapps-8105064.html

"Yesterday, former Tory MP Matthew Parris claimed Baroness Warsi had failed as chairman because the party's grassroots were not ready for an Asian woman in the job."

Classic.

Soon the States might not be full of the worst people in the world, by comparison.

I want to slap anyone who's anti-windfarm for any reason that isn't legitimate (and the only big downsides of windfarms are occupied lower airspace and the fact that they're too tall to put out conventionally if they catch on fire.)

I'm just glad I still live in a country with gun rights, even if politically things are going to hell here too.

I'd like to congratulate the UK on its shiny new Bush Administration.

Good luck with that.

Wooow, this guy really pulled the wool over on the British, didn't he. He's worse than Blair and that's saying a lot.

I dunno, Blair convinced every one in the Uk that loving thatcher is some how standing up for workers rights etc etc..

Also People chose to vote conservative for some ghastly reason I can't fathom.

I'm voting green or communist next time I get the choice but I fully expect the rest of the country to vote for labour and continue the swing from horrendous neo liberal to Terrible neo liberal who pretends to be for the people aha hahaha.... I hate this world.

I think Germany is terrible often enough. But when I hear from the US or now this I know I truly live in the future.

I am still baffled how they can just be like "We don't want asians or women leading our party". The BNP accepts asian people- the tories are most racist than the BNP.

So how does the average Briton stack up against the average American in the casual racism department?

The average americans racism arises from some primal instinct, a gross unfocused drive causing him to lash out at random, prone to fits of misdirected rage and fury which ultimately culminate in his own self loathing and despair as he cannot understand the true angle of his fury.
The average british racism arises from a cultivated rational response to his inculcate superiority and thus manifests as a directed, channelled force directed towards the welfare of his fellow man and the correct and proper use of his superior gifts towards the betterment of all.

So way worse than Americans, then?
