Norman sees dead people. He talks to them, and they talk back. Crazy, amirite? His family thinks he's crazy. His class mates think he's crazy. Everyone thinks he's crazy. He's picked on constantly by Alvin, the school bully. His big sister Courtney calls him a freak. His parents discipline him.

But his estranged uncle Prenderghast knows his gift is real, and warns him that it's the only thing that has kept their town of Blithe Hollow safe for the past three hundred years, after an evil witch cursed those who accused her to become the walking dead, and rise up once a year. The only problem is that uncle Prenderghast is... well, he died. Recently. So it's up to Norman to deal with the witch. But it's okay, because Norman's got a foil! An overweight, allergenic young friend with IBS and an optimistic nature! He can't fail!

...They're so boned.

I watched Paprika last night, it's like inception if it was good - 1
Also I watched Prince of Darkness- old school horror movie, sweet porn moustache, rather bizzare cross between quantum mechanics and metaphysics- 1

I watched this movie at a second run theatre last month and I liked it. The plot can actually kind of surprise you a bit and the ending was just bombastic.

I watched this movie over the weekend and was surprised at everyone in Norman's life being an asshole. Then I remembered how my life was in middle school and how everyone was an asshole.

Ionno, the apparent potty humor I saw in some of the previews turned me off so it wasn't high on my priority list.

Might rent it from the library some day.

It wasn't particularly prevalent in the movie itself. The plotline actually ends up taking itself more seriously than you'd think, and it all works out fairly well.

Is anyone ever going to do a major release stop-motion film that isn't ooky-spooky stuff?
