Drunkstream VII: The Undiscovered Drunkening

But I have a bunch of booze and I want you all to join in on this. We will be having Smarty McDood and Iggy Iggerson as usual. Geminex A. German and Roberto Ocelot once I harass them into this.

Drinking is the only proper way to play this Russian post-apocalypse game. Fight through Rushin' Russian communists and fascists as you try to justify the existence of your home through murder.

Smarty wanted a game where you kick people and make some moral choices. So this is the first thing that came to mind. Kicking people and making choices. That is pretty much it.

I have never played this so I don't know how to dress it up. People say it is scary. I guess if you are into that.


But any other suggestions are welcome. Remember. If you are not there, you probably had something important to do and I totally understand.

I know, but we already had a title for number 6, and I have been watching a lot of videos of Christopher Plummer and Generations was awful.

But Jade Empire is totally worth a playthrough.

Jade Empire is fantastic. I think I've played through that game 4 times. It suffers from the standard bioware problem of "we give you choices but really you're sticking to one moral path for the entire game" but other than that it's pretty solid. Also cool that there's styles and allies exclusive to both moral paths. Even though the earth style and paralyzing palm are way better than their closed fist counterparts.

Is it one of those RPGs with tons of dialogues where a lot of the game relies on talking a lot and dialogue trees? Because if so I would doubt it is a good game to do an alcohol induced stream of. I just heard Bioware and thought this was what might happen.

If it's really more about kicking people than talking to them, though, I don't see a reason not to play that game. Can you kick people while talking to them, though? That would be best. You can do that in Dark Souls, but that's a bad game to Drunkstream for other reasons

It came out during the KOTOR era so yeah, a bit of dialogue. But there is a lot of kicking. And you can turn into a giant toad man.

There is quite a bit of talking. But there is also quite a bit of kicking (especially if you choose the Legendary Strike style to start with, because its entire moveset is kicks (it might have one or two punches but I don't think it does)).

Alternate suggestion involving kicks: Dead Island. You can kick zombies to re-death. Also it has 4 player co-op.

Decent quality stream when it's working, but it seems to lock up every 2-3 minutes for a couple seconds.

It would have to be Livestream then, not me. I don't know if you need a special viewer or something. I watch streams all the time on Twitch and other sites and never have problems.

Well, the game went well until I was defeated by a merciless glitch. I have found a few potential fixes already and I will see how they work until the next stream.
