Yeah, you heard me. Im yet another comic artiste, trying to get an audience for his work. Well, an audience, and some critique, anyway.

My comic, Seraphim Chronicles, is about a group of Angels who are outcast to Earth, and forced to travel the world seeking redemption. The story weaves in-and-out of historical accuracy, so the Angels will be visiting key places and events in the history of the world. I'm only up to page 5 so far, due to time constraints, but the story is *very slowly* starting to unfold now. I would churn out issues quicker, but I'm trying to retain quality over quantity- hence each issue is a full-colour A4 affair, with full backgrounds et al.

The issues are viewable at:
http://www.seraphchronicles.com

just click on 'comic' and follow the links on the left. Theres also an online roleplay, where members can play as angels, humans and demons using a full rules system ran by experienced Gamesmasters, which is helping flesh out aspects of the world a lot (and proving a lot of fun in the meantime).

Anyway, I've rambled enough for now. I'd really like to know what you think about any aspect of the comic; I'm trying to improve as much as I can with every issue that I do.

Thanks a bunch.

I must say the art work is really good and I will read it all later. The following is some web site suggestions. I will admit that my site sucks but I do some design and yours is really good I just have some things I think will make it better.

One, you don't seem to have any move to the "next page" or "previous" buttons. I also have to say that you should not try to defend yourself at the bottm of each page by saying explinations about your work. It is a story and people who read it should just let go and either enjoy it or not read it. If you want then put a FAQ section where you can explain yourself about these frames.

I would also add a line somewhere in the begining either on the opening page of or the main page stating what size you need to have your resolution set too. Most sites keep it so the comics are viewed in 800X600. You comic is bigger in size so to see the whole thing I need to scroll over. Granted I can change the screen size so I can see but it's a good thing to mention these things up front.

I would also make the links to the comic bigger as the whole page blends together so to my eyes it all looks the same and I need to search for the comic. You usually want to make parts of your site stand out a bit more to attract the eye quickly to the key points of interest.

Thanks a *lot*, Meddros. What you said makes perfect sense... and seems obvious.. and now I'm really kicking myself for not noticing them before :|

anyway, I've redesigned the fronpage now, the links are more noticeable, I've added previous / next issue links to each of the issue pages, and put the size warning. If it helps, its only the first 2 issues that have the size problem on 800 x 600, from ish 3 onwards I made them a more standard size.

thanks again. I'd be really interested to know what anyone else thinks, too... ^_^

Ok here I come with some more stuff. Love the story so far. Has my attention (and let me tell you that's hard because I have a short... oh look something shiney!) Sorry what was I saying... oh yes.
I see you have done some great improvments to the site in reguards to navigation and looks. Very well done, however I would suggest a "return to main page button on every comic page so they don't have to hunt for a way back or click the go back button. I also saw what I assum is page 5 but still says it's page 4. Is this a mistake and it was not suppose to show up yet? Or again was it not finished, and you were going to post it later? I noticed the main page shows no signs of page 5 so this is another point.
Keep it up can't wait to read more.
