Game of Thrones Season 2 Blu-Ray/DVD/Digital combo has dropped to the precipitously low price of $30 on Amazon.
I don't think it will go down any further, but if it did, they do have that pre-order price guarantee that will give you the lower price.
Again, though, I don't think it gets any cheaper.
Regular Season 2 DVD (no Blu-Ray, no digital copies) is $25 but...why? Why would you? I mean, really.
Anyway, I've been looking forward to this release since unlike last year there will actually be DELETED SCENES hidden on the blu-rays. Last year it was mere cast auditions--interesting, but not as interesting as deleted scenes.

NEVER AGAIN!
The DVD decided that I should be able to NEVER skip the previews as if I would watch MY DVDs only once in my lifetime!
No, I ain't buying it and HBO can suck it!

I didn't have a problem. You have to press skip forward instead of menu, though (not fast forward, that other button that skips chapters).
Lots of DVDs are like that for some reason...

Now I just have to wait for it to be stocked up in the store I work at. *Goes to nag my boss who is also a GoT fan*

Late to the party, but it really can't be overstated what a crazy good deal this is. DVD and BD copies of the entire season, plus multiple options for digital copy (I redeemed the iTunes, VUDU, and Flixter/UltraViolet options--it didn't limit me to one or the other) all for $30. Some stores charge that much for a single movie on Blu-ray.
I'm half temped to sell my BD-only Season 1 set and re-buy the matching combo pack set, just for OCD's sake. Though, at $44, it's not nearly as good a deal... And maybe it'd be better to keep the original for its barely-on-screen-George Bush-head-on-a-pike (digitally removed from subsequent releases)? I dunno.

Some people have called the original unedited one a "collector's item" but I think they might have been joking...I have the feeling there are FAR too many copies out there for something so silly to make for a collector's item, but who knows.
And yeah I always get every digital thing I can since various networks I get on throughout my week seem to block something or other at random (like blocking VUDU but leaving Flixster open).
Of note: your Flixster account and VUDU accounts can be linked so that whatever is redeemed in one is automatically in the other. This can also allow you to watch things you redeemed in the past, they'll eventually show up in both if you link them.

Yeah. Not that I think it'll be worth anything per se. More like, owning a curiosity.
And I do actually have my VUDU and Flixster accounts linked (plus, what, Sony and Universal and whatever other studios make you create accounts with them to redeem UV copies); I just wanted to see if it would let me redeem both, and it did!
It's funny, I don't actually watch digital or streaming copies that much, but I really like having the option.
